Remember when designer John Galliano went on an anti-Semitic tirade at a Parisian cafe? Well, it appears another pair of designers are in hot water after putting their proverbial feet in their mouths.
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbano of D&G made some controversial comments supporting traditional marriage in an interview with Panorama magazine. The duo who are gay and were once in a relationship with each other also spoke out against IVF, calling them ‘children of chemistry.’
“The family is not a fad. In it there is a supernatural sense of belonging,” Gabbana told Italian magazine Panorama, translated by The Telegraph. “No chemical offsprings and rented uterus: life has a natural flow, there are things that should not be changed.”
“We oppose gay adoptions. The only family is the traditional one,” he also said. “I am opposed to the idea of a child growing up with two gay parents. A child needs a mother and a father. I could not imagine my childhood without my mother. I also believe that it is cruel to take a baby away from its mother.”
Dolce chimed in with, “You are born to a mother and a father — or at least that’s how it should be. I call children of chemistry, synthetic children. Rented uterus, semen chosen from a catalog.”
Naturally, Elton John and his husband David Furnish who have two children via surrogate aren’t amused by these comments. Read John’s rant on Instagram below.
Once again, Swide.com gained access backstage at the Dolce & Gabbana fashion show. Lucky bitches!!! What I would give to hang out with all those shirtless male models.
In previous years, the D&G walkers taught Italian hand gestures and delivered their best pickup lines on helium for the publication’s compilation video. This time around, things got more personal.
Top models like Mariano Ontanon, Xavier Serrano along with others answered questions about their family, growing up and their favorite color. Watch the clip below. Some of them surprisingly got a tad emotional as they talked about their loved ones.
If you’re a longtime reader of Homorazzi.com, you might’ve noticed the increase of fashion posts recently. Based on feedback (and statistics) I’ve received, you have an appetite for all things style related. With that in mind, we’re incorporating more articles of this nature as we continue to improve our brand. We’re even introducing a fashion cast member in the coming weeks. I can’t wait for you to meet him.
Since the gays love to hit the gym and travel to sunny destinations, I thought Dolce & Gabbana’s Spring/Summer lookbook would interest a few of you. The Italian brand once again looked to model Adam Senn to show off their hottest looks for the coming season. He is joined by Enrique Palacios, Paolo Anchisi, Elbio Bongsaglio,Tomas Guarracino and Jae Yoo to model Dolce & Gabbana’s 2013 swimwear and gym collection. Check out the looks below which feature a couple Disney-inspired pieces. If that’s not your thing, I’m sure the numerous shots of Adam Senn shirtless will be worth the click.
Isn’t Noah Mills absolute perfection? I can’t pick out one flaw. Even his sweat seems like it would smell aromatic. At least in my fantasies, it does ;) It’s not hard to tell I have a big hard-on for 27-year-old Canadian male supermodel. Can you blame me? He’s got a rocking body and a classically handsome face.
If you watched Sex and the City 2, you saw him plowing Samantha (Kim Cattrall) to orgasmic heights. Most recently, Noah appeared as Taylor Swift’s love interest in the music video for “We’re Never Ever Getting Back Together“. He probably was cast for having a Jake Gyllenhaal-vibe whom is speculated as the inspiration for the track.
Mills’ latest gig has him showing off that aforementioned toned body for the Spanish edition of Men’s Health. Photographed by Edu Garcia, Noah models gym collection inside a locker room. Fittingly enough, his threads are from Dolce & Gabbana’s fall/winter 2012 collection, since he’s a favorite of the Italian brand. Too bad, D&G didn’t have a line of soap, shampoo and towels to pimp out. Can’t you just picture him soaping up in the shower ;) Check out his editorial in the Spanish fitness magazine below.
We’re not even fully done with January but it’s time to stop dreading the winter weather and start thinking about your Spring and Summer wardrobe. Thankfully, Dolce & Gabbana have released their 2012 gym and beachwear look book for us to enjoy. Plus, it gives us a chance to oggle over a few of the sexy men that are filling out a the designers’ fashions.
Featuring models Adam Senn, David Gandy, Daisuke Hueda, Julien Quevenne, and more boys of Dolce & Gabbana, D&G is bringing only a splash of color to their spring and summer looks. While many of the trunks, and other swimwear come in darker tones and colors, it’s their tees that find a few splashes of color and whimsy. Although, the blue track suit is kind of to-die-for and I want to get my hands on a pair of the blue sunglasses.
One of the designs that I’m not quite digging in the new collection are the sweats and hoodies that look like jailhouse jumpsuits or pieces from a special referee collection. Aside from that miss for me, the rest of collection is making me dream of sunny days and warm beaches already. Check out a few of the looks below.
It’s hard to think of him growing into a young man but Justin Bieber will turn the young adult age of 18 on March 1 of this year. (The same birthday as Patrick too). In the 2012 Music Issue Bieber covers the fashion-forward magazine and is named “Pop’s Crown Prince”, a proper title considering his legions of female fans, a sell-out tour, a 3D documentary and the list continues. So what does 2012 have in store for the Canadian songster?
His new album Believe is set to debut sometime in the New Year and he will begin production on his first full-length feature film alongside Mark Wahlberg. His latest photo spread with V Magazine is only the tip of the iceberg.
While Bieber’s fans are usually quick to gobble up anything that is related to their favorite pop icon, Beliebers seem to be having a fit with the latest cover and photos conceived by Inez Van Lamseerde and Vinoodh Matadin. Could it be that D&G sweater he’s wearing? Maybe. He tells V, “now that I’m on top, everyone wants to bring me down.” Check out Bieber’s full photo spread below.
What better way to show off designer shoes than to have a baker’s dozen of gorgeous men model them in their underwear. That’s exactly what Dolce & Gabbana did for this sexy photo spread for Antidote Magazine. Appropriately enough it was for the magazine’s Shoe Issue. Snapped by Italian fashion photographer Giampaolo Sgura, the fashion editorial features Dolce & Gabbana’s favorite male models looking seductive in bed. Like McDonalds, the smiles are free but the shoes and underwear cost a pretty penny.
Some of the models featured include a couple of guys featured on Homorazzi.com before. Adam Senn was part of my Model Behavior series and Noah Mills a former Man Crush of mine. Based on my initial reaction to a few of these guys, I’m sure a handful of them will pop up on one of my weekly features in the near future. Titled, “Boys, Boys, Boys“, the fashion spread features Arthur Kulkov, Corey Baptiste, Guy Robinson, Jae Yoo, Justin Halley, Paolo Anchisi, Sam Way, Sam Webb, Sebastian Lund, Tim Ruger, Travis Bland and the aforementioned Senn and Mills. Be sure to vote on your favorites after inspecting the guys closely.
D&G models have gone buck naked in the new book Uomini by Mariono Vivanco by Dolce & Gabbana. So impressed by the work, Stefano Gabbana tweeted some of the uncensored and “uncut” photos of some of the models, which include Doug Porter and either Tomas Skoloudik or Matt Loewen (they look SO similar and are both D&G models). Either way, they are hot, hot, hot.
I met Loewen a long time ago when I worked at Ginch Gonch and he modeled for us, which was his first big gig, and from there he took off. He’s worked with D&G before, but never has he gone totally full frontal nude. If it is Tomas, he has been nude before and this would be nothing new for him. Either way, keep it coming boys.
