Well, this is a pleasant surprise. Rumor had it that DJ Earworm’s music video mash-up wouldn’t go live until December 25. Looks like Christmas came early. The music maestro unveiled his newest masterpiece and it really elevates the previously-released audio.
Ever since, I heard his “United States of Pop” 2009 roundup, I’ve anticipated DJ Earworm’s yearly masterpiece highlighting the year’s biggest tracks. Dare I say it, but I think it’s his best one since his 2009 mashup.
I was in Portland this past weekend and heard this wicked mashup on the radio. Within a few seconds, I had a feeling it was from my favorite DJ artist. And low and behold I was right. DJ Earworm definitely has own distinctive style- upbeat and melodious. Born Jordan Roseman, Earworm has been dazzling us with his annual mash-up since 2007. Check out his 2012 edition, titled “Shine Brighter”, featuring Bruno Mars, Carly Rae Jepsen, Ke$ha, Nicki Minaj, PSY, Gotye, Katy Perry, Maroon 5, One Direction, fun. and many, many more including Phillip Phillips’ American Idol coronation song, “Home“.

DJ Earworm is back with another amazing mashup song and music video, combining some of your favorite artists and their hits songs into one “Summertime Ball Mashup” titled “Fly”. The master of mashing combined all of the artists that performed at Capital FM’s Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium in London. This music video was played at the beginning and toward the end of the concert. Amazing!
The fifteen featured artists were: Coldplay, Conor Maynard, Cover Drive, Ed Sheeran, Example, Flo Rida, Jessie J, Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Kelly Clarkson, Lawson, Pitbull, Rita Ora, Usher and The Wanted.
In addition, each year there are special unexpected guests that perform throughout the concert and he was able to included them in the mashup as well. This year’s surprise artists were, Carly Rae Jepsen, Cheryl Cole, and Dizzee Rascal. Enjoy the mashup below and be sure to download it and add it to your summer playlist!

Another year has almost come to an end, and with that has come the gift of another year end song & music video mashup by the amazing DJ Earworm. Bringing together a blend of the 25 biggest hits during 2011 in the U.S., DJ Earworm presents, “United States Of Pop 2011 (World Go Boom)“.
From Adele to Bruno Mars to Britney Spears to Katy Perry and more, the song pretty much includes every big hit from this year. I think in this case, 25 songs may have proved overly ambitious. The mashup starts to get really good around the 0:40 mark and last until the 2:50 mark. During that portion of the song, the main backtrack is the “We Found Love” tune which totally works with everything else. After the 2:50 mark, it’s as if it’s has become a totally different song and he just put the two halves together. Wah wah.
Overall, I’m not complaining because it’s still an incredibly amazing track (and music video) and certainly a great song choice for you to include on your New Year’s playlist (should you happen to be entertaining this NYE). Enjoy the song & music video below. I’ve also included the list of songs used as well as the link for you to download the track for free.

Homorazzi is an avid fan of DJ Earworm and his incredible ability to mash-up our favorite songs of the moment into a sexy melody. This new mix is no exception. Now this track did come out at the beginning of last month I know, but I heard it for the first time yesterday while listening to one of my favorite radio apps, GAY FM.
While some of Earworm’s latest mixes haven’t been my favorite, the blend of these songs with the video and the backbeat makes for a perfect blend of summer greatness. What I think makes this one better is that he only used a handful of songs versus trying to use 10 or 15. This mix was created to also help promote the new YouTube app on Android smartphones. You’ll see how that works into the video as well. Check out what songs made the mix.
Mashup features:
Avril Lavigne – “What The Hell”
Black Eyed Peas – “The Time (Dirty Bit)”
Chris Brown – “Yeah 3X”
Enrique Iglesias – “Tonight”
Ke$ha – “We R Who We R”
Rihanna – “Only Girl”
Willow Smith – “Whip My Hair”

One of my favorite mashup maestros is back with another brilliant creation. For the second year in a row, San Francisco native DJ Earworm created another exclusive mashup for Captial FM’s annual Summertime Ball at Wembley Stadium in London. Last year he debuted “Like OMG, Baby” at the concert. This year’s “Party On The Floor” premiered during the concert and features Jessie J, LMFAO, Nicole Scherzinger, Jennifer Lopez, Cee-Lo Green and much more. You can download the audio MP3 and watch the equally mesmerizing video mashup below.

In the infamous words of Destiny’s Child. Can you handle it? I don’t think you can handle it. Let that be your warning because hearing this amazing mashup will leave you in such a euphoric state, you’ll think you popped a few mind-altering pills. Seriously, this guy is amazing. My good friend, Scott, who’s currently living in Australia introduced me to this musical genius.
Robin Skouteris is a music producer, DJ and a video director from Athens, Greece. He’s mostly known for his mashups. Beside sharing his audio masterpieces to the world, Robin also remixes and composes for music artists, tv commercials and short films. His latest creation is titled “Popalicious!” and includes artists like The Pet Shop Boys, Destiny’s Child, Kylie Minogue, Salt-N-Pepa and much more. A couple years back, I claimed DJ Earworm had created the best video mashup ever, but after hearing this awesome mix, Robin Skouteris has supplanted Earworm in my eyes. Especially, given DJ Earworm’s less than stellar 2010 year-end video mashup.
WOO HOO. DJ Earworm finally released his yearly mashup of the 25 biggest hits from 2010. I’ve been checking his website on a daily basis since Christmas, waiting for this year’s masterpiece. Once again, the talented mashup artist didn’t disappoint. It always amazes me how much patience he has to, not only whip up the audio mashup, but the visual one as well.
While the 2010 mashup is good and will receive heavy rotation on my playlist, I’m more partial to last year’s creation. When I first saw last year’s video, my jaw literally hit the ground. I had never seen anything like it so well done before. I think the reason why I’m not oohing and aahing this year, is due to the high level of expectation I had for the poor guy. Judge for yourself and see if I’m being overly critical. Watch this year and last year’s mashups below and vote on which one was better.
I first wrote about one of my favorite mashup artists, DJ Earworm, back in December. Based in California, DJ Earworm is widely known for his annual “United States of Pop” year-end mashups. If you haven’t heard of him as of yet, you’re definitely missing out.
