In: Patrick, Sports & Health, Totally GAY!

Well, we’re now into the final stretch of the Sports Stud 2012 Showdown and we have a group of ten finalists based on your votes for you to choose from. If you haven’t voted in our Man Crush and Model Behavior finals (although I think most of you have – LOL), be sure to do so as well!

There were so many hotties all year long – I’m so glad that I actually don’t have to determine a winner… that’s your job. Any of the guys below could be the top pick so I have no idea how it’s going to turn out. As a side note, as we move into the New Year, feel free to leave suggestions in comments for athletes you’d like to see us cover in these weekly posts. I have done a few years worth of these posts so for some of the well known athletes, chances are I have covered them. That being said, share anyway because there are so many more men to tackle in 2013 ;) Happy voting!

Sports Stud 2012 Showdown: Round 2

In: Patrick, Sports & Health, Totally GAY!

The Sports Stud 2012 Showdown is well under way now, with the first round completed. The winner of round one was yummy soccer player, Lance Parker, who happened to be my first Sports Stud of the year in 2012. I had a feeling when I wrote that one that he was going to be a contender in the end. In second place was sexy volleyball player, J.P. Calderon whom you know best from Survivor.

With Round 1 completed, it’s time to move on to the second batch of boys. There are a lot of hot ones in this group as well so it’ll be interesting to see who comes out on top. The details of how the winner will be determined in the end are once again listed below.

Today, I decided to focus on U.S. Olympic diver, Nick McCrory for our Olympic Hottie of the Day. Now although Donovan just posted the London 2012 Olympics: 15 Hottest Male Divers Ranked, this guy didn’t make the cut so I figured I’d give him his own post.

This week, he and his synchronized diving partner, Dave Boudia (who did make the list and who I’ve featured in his own post previously) won the bronze medal for the Men’s Synchronised 10m Platform. Needless to say it was an exciting day for them. McCrory will compete next in the Men’s 10m Platform on August 10.

McCrory is 20 years old and his uncle, Gordon Downie, won a bronze medal for Great Britain in the 800m freestyle swimming relay at the 1976 Olympic Games. Anyway, get right to McCrory’s pictures below!

Since my previous post ranking the Top 15 Hottest Male Gymnasts proved so popular and surprisingly controversial, I thought I’d objectify divers next. Before I begin, I just wanted to address several comments I received on my last post.

First of all, I want to reiterate I’m ranking only divers in this post. I was shocked by the number of comments informing me I forgot their favorite athletes who weren’t even gymnasts on my previous list. People… read the title. Please no comments how I erroneously snubbed so and so from other sporting disciplines like track and field, swimming, etc. LOL.

Secondly, I love the fact that people only see race in these frivolous posts. It’s funny how people lump people who aren’t Asian or black into the white category. And PS, I’m not a potato (Asian on the outside and white on the inside) as accused by some of you. If anything, I’m Asian on the outside and black on the inside. Just ask my friends about my vernacular when I’m tipsy or watching the Real Housewives of Atlanta ;)

Thirdly, I’m not American, but rather Canadian. That rebuffs a claim by a couple of you who thought my hottest gymnast was based solely on patriotism. Jake Dalton is hot no matter what country he’s from. That being said, my pick for hottest diver is based partially on national pride. LOL. Now that I’ve gotten that off my chest, check out my picks for the Top 15 hottest divers competing at the 2012 London Olympics.

Since Saturdays is our unofficial day for athletics, I thought today was the perfect day to share these fantastic images. Earlier this week, photographers were invited to Dallas for the 2012 Team USA Media Summit. At this event, Olympic hopefuls and legends posed for numerous photogs representing their respective discipline.

Naturally, Michael Phelps was the main attraction at the event. Reporters inundated the Olympian with questions ranging from his training to his post 2012 Olympic Games plans. Obviously, he wasn’t the only athlete there. I rummaged through the images and picked a select few *cough* hotties *cough* to share with you. If you’re an avid reader of Homorazzi.com, you might recognized a few of them from Patrick’s weekly Sports Stud feature. I hope other countries follow suit and release images of their athletes. I love me a hot Russian gymnast.

Sports Stud: David Boudia

In: Sports & Health, Totally GAY!

With the Summer Olympics creeping up on us, I just couldn’t resist highlighting another sexy diver for this week’s Sports Stud feature.

From Team USA, let me introduce you to 23-year-old David Boudia. He started diving in 2000 and has been a part of the U.S. national team since 2005. He specializes in the 10m and 10m synchro dives (with his dive partner Thomas Finchum).

Boudia is a 2 Time World Championship Medalist (Silver, Bronze) and is working his butt off to get the chance to win a gold medal at the Olympics this summer. He’s got beautiful eyes, a great body, and from the sounds of it, a good head on his shoulders. “Dive” in below to check out some amazing pictures of him and be sure to keep an eye out for him at the Olympics!
