Didn’t watch Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising in theaters this weekend? You’re not the only one. The sequel to the 2014 comedy hit, only managed to nab $21.8 million. That’s roughly a 56 percent drop from the film’s first tally of $49 million. Definitely don’t expect a third installment.

In the sequel, Dave Franco’s character Pete not only comes out, but also gets engaged. Watch his on-screen boyfriend drop a surprising proposal during a game of poker. Zac Efron also gets in on the action by serenading them with their song “I’m Yours,” by Jason Mraz. Check out the cute clip below.

Are you a watcher or a player? Depends on the game 😉 In this case, I’ll opt for the former. You will as well after watching the clip.

Nerve is an upcoming thriller based on Jeanne Ryan’s 2012 YA novel of the same name. It follows a high school student who engages in a Truth or Dare-type interactive online game. Things start innocently enough with a simple kiss-a-stranger dare before things get high stakes and deadly.

Nerve Movie Synopsis

Industrious high school senior, Vee Delmonico [Emma Roberts], has had it with living life on the sidelines. When pressured by friends to join the popular online game Nerve, Vee decides to sign up for just one dare in what seems like harmless fun. But as she finds herself caught up in the thrill of the adrenaline-fueled competition partnered with a mysterious stranger [Dave Franco], the game begins to take a sinister turn with increasingly dangerous acts, leading her into a high stakes finale that will determine her entire future.

Nerve comes from the team behind the documentary film Catfish– Henry Joost and Ariel Schulman. Joining Dave Franco and Emma Roberts are Kimiko Glenn and Juliette Lewis. Nerve hits theaters on July 27. Check out the exciting trailer below.

Why didn’t this happen in the first film? I could’ve watched a scene or two of Dave Franco pining over Zac Efron while they engaged in some homoerotic frat activities in Neighbors. It would’ve made the movie much better, right? Better late than never I guess.

For the sequel, Neighbors 2: Sorority Rising, Franco’s character Pete not only comes out as gay but is also planning a wedding. Director Nicholas Stoller explains to Yahoo the reason behind the decision.

“Clearly, we’re playing with the homoerotic tension [in the first film], and I was like, ‘He should just be gay.’ Then in this one, it came up again. [Co-writer] Evan Goldberg brought it up, and he said, ‘I think he should be gay, and part of [his arc] should be the proposal.’ It was kind of all of us coming to the same conclusion.”

Naturally, being a Franco, Dave loves playing a gay character like his older brother James. Read below to learn Dave’s thoughts on his character.

Not a lot of guys can pull off a crop top. That can’t be said about Rob Gronkowski. He rocks it out like no other. Is there anything The Gronk can’t do?

The New England Patriots tight end plays Half Top in Madden: The Movie which promotes the franchise’s new game. The hilarious clip also stars San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, Atlanta Falcons wide receiver Julio Jones, Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Antonio Brown, Buffalo Bills coach Rex Ryan and Neighbors co-stars Dave Franco and Christopher Mintz-Plasse.

Check out the clip below. Though Franco is often shirtless in it, Kaepernick’s alter ego is my favorite. He had me cracking up the entire time with his HOO-AHs.

When I first saw the movie still of Zac Efron shirtless, I was already sold on Neighbors. As it turns out, the movie actually looks pretty hilarious based on the film’s first red band trailer.

Directed by Nick Stoller, the man behind Forgetting Sarah Marshall and Get Him to the Greek, Neighbors finds Seth Rogen and Rose Byrne playing a married couple living happily in their quiet suburban neighborhood. That is until Efron along with his frat brothers including Dave Franco move in right beside them. What ensues is an outrageous feud between the two neighbors. Rogen and Efron pull out every prank in the book to one up the other. The car air bag scene will have you laughing.

Neighbors arrives in North American theaters in May 2014. Jake Johnson, Lisa Kudrow, and Halston Sage also star in the film. Check out the trailer below, along with a TV spot featuring Rogen and a shirtless Efron.

Apparently, there was a time when I was seriously high on crack. I had no idea I had a severe problem 😉 For some reason I placed Zac Efron on my 5 Guys Everyone Finds Smokin’ Hot… But Me list. In my defense, the 25-year-old has gotten much hotter as he’s aged. Wasn’t feeling his twinky High School Musical days.

In a newly-released still from his upcoming film Neighbors, Efron sports some serious chest fuzz and rock hard abs. Formerly titled Townies, the film follows a couple with a newborn baby who face unexpected difficulties after they are forced to live next to a fraternity house. Neighbors opens in theaters nationwide on May 9, 2014. If there’s more revealing shots of him, I’ll be at the cineplex opening night.

If I had to guess which male celebrity has appeared in the most fashion editorials in recent memory, I would probably pick Dave Franco. It seems like the 27-year-old actor consistently pops up in publication after another. His latest finds him heading down under for GQ Australia.

Photographed by David Slijper, Franco sports a colorful array of fashionable nerdy outfits. I wonder if big bro’s short-lived show, Freaks and Geeks, served as inspiration for the spread? Is it me, or does this whole hipster geek chic really work for him. The things I would do to him in that bowtie 😉

If you think this nerd thing is just an act, you have to read the accompanying interview. Franco delivers an eulogy for a dead gecko then flushes him down the toilet with magazine staff witnessing the whole thing. Check out the photos below.
