Our latest Homorazzi episode just aired yesterday on OUTtv with Tommy, Nic, Patrick and Adam (shown above, from left to right). In case you missed it (or if you’re not in Canada), we’ve got the full episode for you to check out below. This was our eighth episode and we definitely had a lot of fun with it.

After sharing our Halloween costumes with you, we move into Gossip and discuss the rumor that Jessica Simpson’s dad is gay. One of the four panelists admits that he finds Joe Simpsons attractive and perhaps has a little crush on him.

In Music, we talk about No Doubt‘s controversial music video and Christina Aguilera’s new Lotus album, which quickly turns into why Tommy thinks Aguilera is “TOO MUCH!” As we delve into Movies, we zone in on the biggest movies of the moment, Skyfall and Twilight: Breaking Dawn Part 2.

Moving onto TV (which Adam & Tommy watch A LOT of), the first show to be discussed is The New Normal. “Nene Leakes is turning me out,” says Tommy. Nic tries to say something is “turning him out” later in the episode, but it doesn’t go so well. LOL. Other shows discussed include American Horror Story, The Walking Dead, DTLA, and RuPaul’s Drag Race All-Stars.

Album Review: Christina Aguilera’s Lotus

In: Matt, Music

Christina Aguilera has constantly been trying to differentiate herself from other mainstream pop vocalists. Starting off in a time when young blonde pop singers were a dime a dozen, she has spent more than ten years trying on different musical styles. From R&B to electro-pop, not all were a success commercially. (I loved Bionic, shh!)

Aguilera’s latest “rebirth”, Lotus, is a solid album but on the whole disappoints me. Sia, a friend and collaborator of Aguilera’s, was once quoted saying, “Christina Aguilera could shit in a bottle and her fans would still love it.” And it’s true. I do love this album, but after a commercial bomb, a divorce, a flop film, and a few too many trips to Burger King, I was hoping for something more raw, exposed, vulnerable and reflective (see: Stripped). While Aguilera has always maintained that her last album was a work of art, a success in her eyes, it would seem that its failure to achieve commercial results has either pushed her or her label into making an album where overall… she plays it safe.

A few days ago, a new Christina Aguilera power ballad from her upcoming Lotus album was released called “Blank Page” and it was very well received. Now, a totally another song from the album has leaked called “Let There Be Love” and it’s also SO GOOD!

This song is far from a ballad like the last track and with this one, Aguilera has given us quite the treat for the dancefloor. The hook is so amazing and I think this song is gonna take off – you’re gonna love it!. In the chorus, X-tina sings, “Let there be let there be love / Here in the here in the dark / Turning me turning me on / Not gonna fight anymore / Cause I want your touch.” Later in one of the verses, she gets in touch with her “Dirrty” side singing, “Feels so good that I can’t hold back / Just like that / Hit the right spot / Making my eyes roll back.

Lotus comes out on November 13 which is just around the corner. I can’t wait because this is gonna be a good one!

Last night, Christina Aguilera was on Late Night With Jimmy Fallon where she performed “Your Body” alongside Jimmy Fallon and The Roots with everyone using office supplies as instruments. I actually really enjoyed this acoustic rendition of her hit single.

Today, Aguilera released the full track of one of her new songs called “Blank Page” and I think you’re gonna love it. Very different from her first single, “Blank Page” is a power ballad, sort of along the same lines as one of her biggest hits, “Beautiful“. In the track, Aguilera sings, “Oh, for the things you said / If I could’ve knew / That I hurt you / I would do anything / For us to make it through / Got me a smile and save me tonight / I am a blank page waiting /For you to bring me to life.”

An album preview for Christina Aguilera‘s upcoming Lotus album has just hit the web and it’s sounds like a pretty solid album!

The song previews are about 30-seconds each and there’s a great mixture of upbeat songs and ballads. There are thirteen songs on the November 13 album’s standard version, including its lead single, “Your Body,” as well as songs like “Red Hot Kinda Love,” “Army Of Me,” and “Cease Fire.” On the deluxe edition, there are seventeen songs and snippets of these have been included in the album preview you’re about to hear.

Aguilera will be performing two days before the album drops at the American Music Awards. She told MTV News, “It’s very exciting. It’s definitely going to be a reflection of what Lotus means to me. If you take that album cover and give it a little performance twist, I’ll bring that album cover to life, so it’s going to be really fun.” Check out the album preview below!

Back in 2000, Britney Spears sang a song about a girl named “Lucky“. Remember that ditty? Twelve years later, the 30-year-old singer is gracing the cover of Lucky magazine. Her cover leaves me asking one huge question. Why in the world is she wearing a wig? At least that’s what it looks like? Did Miss Spears shave her head, oops one more time? The hairline looks awkward, especially in the pictures inside the December 2012 issue. I’m sure Team Xtina will be proclaiming the “Genie In A Bottle” singer’s Lucky October 2012 cover is better. Check out the pictures below along with a few quotes from her interview.

On Her Son’s Thoughts Regarding Her Career

“They’re in the middle right now of trying to figure it out. They try to figure out where I go when I go to film X Factor. They’re like, ‘Mommy’s going off to be a superhero.’ and then I get back, and they just see me as Mommy. And then when I’m back working on the show, they say, ‘Oh, Mommy’s a superhero again!’”

Christina Wants To Play A Crackhead

In: Celeb Gossip & News, Tyrell

Oh boy! Christina Aguilera has been saying a lot of crazy things lately. Last month, she told Billboard Magazine that she thought her mediocore album, Bionic was simply, ahead of its time. That’s why it under-performed. It also could have under-performed because it honestly wasn’t her best. I hope she really tries a bit harder with Lotus to showcase the true talents I know she possesses. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves because once again, Christina is telling reporters some crazy ish.

Billboard & The Hollywood Reporter hosted the 2012 Film & TV Music Conference yesterday. There, Christina talked about some her future plans including getting back on the silver screen. “I do want to do more acting,” Xtina explained when conversation turned to her film, Burlesque. “I want to do something where I can really sink my teeth into something a little more challenging. Really outside of myself, outside of music.” So, just want does Aguilera have in mind? A crackhead of course!

Pitbull‘s upcoming album titled Global Warming is his seventh Studio album and it’s coming out on November 19. His last album was called Planet Pit and sold over 1.4 million albums and 18 million singles worldwide. Three singles have been released from the album so far: “Back in Time” was released back in March as the lead single and main theme from Men in Black 3. After that, “Get It Started” was released at the end of June featuring Shakira. Finally, the third single was released at the end of September and called “Don’t Stop the Party“.

Today a one minute and a half teaser for a song featuring Christina Aguilera surfaced called “Feel This Moment” and we’ve got your first listen below. The song samples A-Ha’s “Take On Me” is bound to be a hit. Other collaborations on the album include Chris Brown, Jennifer Lopez, The Wanted, Enrique Iglesias and Havana Brown.

As mentioned, the album comes out on November 19. Aguilera’s comes out ten days earlier on November 10. Give the preview a listen below.
