Can’t decide which version of “Do What U Want” you like best? Torn between R. Kelly’s sultry soulful vibe and Christina Aguilera’s growling ad libs? Perhaps, Rick Ross’ sick rhymes are more your flavor. Whichever collaboration you prefer, you’ll go bat sh*t crazy for this megamix, or what I like to call “DWUW Version 4.0,” featuring all of Lady Gaga’s duet partners.

In other Gaga-related news, she recently apologized to her little monsters for the delay of the accompanying music video. The “Applause” singer cryptically wrote on her website that some people “betrayed her” by “mismanaging” her time and health.

Call me a skeptic but I just don’t see Gaga being pushed around. I feel her entire image and direction is heavily controlled by her. The conspiracy theory-loving person that I am, thinks Gaga and Terry Richardson are preparing an ultimate clip featuring R. Kelly, X-Tina and Ross. Don’t you think? Check out her entire apology below, along with the megamix.

Sorry R. Kelly, but you’re yesterday’s news. As fantastic as the original duet was, along with some pretty wicked live performances, Gaga pushed the R&B singer aside. The “Applause” chanteuse released a studio version of her epic duet with Christina Aguilera at the stroke of midnight New Years.

As much as I like the new studio recording, I was hoping more of a growl-off similar to their live Voice performance. With that being said, any track that features X-Tina on guest vocals is always fantastic. Give it a listen below. Just in case you missed their live duet, I also added that as well. Lady Gaga’s “Do What U Want” featuring Christina Aguilera is available to download on Amazon.

It’s a pretty savvy move for Gaga to release an alternate version. For those who were uncomfortable with R. Kelly singing about doing stuff to one’s body given his controversial sexual past, the Xtina version could be easier to swallow (excuse the pun). Don’t you think? Weigh in below.

The 41th annual American Music Awards took place at Los Angeles’ Nokia Theatre Live on Sunday night with Mr. Worldwide aka Pitbull hosting. Random choice, right?

Heading into the evening, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis had the most nominations with six. Even though they nabbed two AMAs, Taylor Swift was the big winner of the night. The 23-year-old singer won four awards – Artist of the Year, Favorite Country Female Artist, Favorite Pop/Rock Female Artist, and Favorite Country Album for Red. It was her third time winning the year’s top prize!

The top male dog was Justin Timberlake who walked away with three statues. Other multiple winners were One Direction and Rihanna. The AMAs bestowed the latter with their first ever Icon Award which was presented to her by her mom. Adorable.

With regards to performances, Lady Gaga in my opinion stole the show alongside R. Kelly with their sexually-charged tribute to JFK and Marilyn Monroe. Other memorable highlights include Katy Perry’s Japanese-themed “Conditionally” number, DWTS’ Maks Chmerkovskiy tossing around J. Lo during her Celia Cruz homage, Miley Cyrus being accompanied by a giant kitty and Christina Aguilera’s beautiful duet with A Great Big World.

On the flip side, I was underwhelmed with both Ariana Grande and TLC. The former was fantastic vocally but a tad boring, while the latter served practically zero energy during their “Waterfalls” performance with Lil Mama subbing in for the late Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes. Check out all the performances and winners below.

A Great Big World must be super thankful that Christina Aguilera is a fan of So You Think You Can Dance. The “Beautiful” singer fell in love with the track when she saw a beautiful number choreographed by Stacey Tookey on the FOX show. Her team then contacted Ian Axel and Chad Vaccarino to re-record the ballad as a duet.

With X-tina on board, “Say Something” has grown tremendously. The track is currently No. 16 on the Billboard Hot 100 and sold nearly 200,000 copies in its first week. No doubt in part to their lauded live performance on The Voice. With a brand new visual, the track will surely climb higher on the chart. Much like the beautiful single, the video is simple yet powerful.

Once again, Aguilera shows that less is more when it comes to her image. She looks sensational in a basic black slip dress and minimal hair and makeup. Check out the emotional clip below. A Great Big World’s debut album Is There Anybody Out There? is due out January 14.

I first heard “Say Something” when it was featured on this season’s So You Think You Can Dance in a beautiful dance choreographed by Stacey Tookey. Clearly I wasn’t the only one who fell in love with the track. Christina Aguilera also did.

Her team contacted A Great Big World’s manager to propose the idea of re-recording the track but as a duet with her. Given her star power, obviously they agreed. The result is absolutely sublime. Gotta give props to Xtina for not overpowering them with her bombastic vocals. Instead, she complements their vocal stylings and elevates the track.

“[This song] is sort of coming to me at a time when I’m feeling very inspired…it’s so simple and it’s so quiet and still and steady and in a way pleading to hear something, to hear some kind of answer or get an answer in the most humble, unassuming, non-demanding way” – Christina Aguilera

“Say Something” is off A Great Big World’s upcoming album Is There Anybody Out There? On Tuesday’s episode of The Voice, they’ll perform the duet with Aguilera on the show. Definitely give the gorgeous ballad a listen below.

The past couple of days have been a downpour of riches for all you Hunger Gamers. Not only did another poster for Catching Fire debut, but two cuts from the soundtrack made their way online in full.

We’ve already heard a preview of “We Remain” from Christina Aguilera, but now we have the full version. As expected, it’s flawless. Xtina is back in her wheelhouse, belting out a power ballad with her even more powerful vocals. This is the Christina I fell in love with years ago.

The other leaked track from the highly-anticipated soundtrack is from the phenomenal Sia. Lately, the Aussie singer has mostly stayed behind the scenes penning tracks for the likes of Celine Dion, Ne-Yo, Alexis Jordan and numerous others including Aguilera herself. I’m glad she’s returned back to the mic to deliver a wicked track produced by Diplo and featuring The Weeknd.

Elastic Heart” is an emotional track which complements Sia’s throaty vocals with The Weeknd’s vulnerability. Definitely a keeper. Check out both tracks below and weigh in afterward on which track you think is better. I can’t wait to hear the entire LP. This will definitely give The Great Gatsby a run for its money as best soundtrack of the year.

I thought The Great Gatsby had the best soundtrack of the year honors all locked up, but The Hunger Games: Catching Fire album is shaping up to be a serious contender. We’ve already heard the epic “Atlas” by Coldplay and now we have the full track listing. On paper, the roster is epic.

There are contributions from Sia, Santigold, Ellie Goulding, Mikky Ekko, Imagine Dragons and The Lumineers. New Zealand sensation Lorde is also involved by covering the Tears For Fears classic, “Everybody Wants to Rule The World.” As impressive as that line-up is already, the cherry on top is none other than Christina Aguilera.

The Voice judge lends her vocals on a soaring power ballad titled “We Remain.” Some of Xtina’s best work has appeared in movies including “Reflection” (Mulan), “Lady Marmalade” (Moulin Rouge), “Car Wash” (Shark Tale) and anything from Burlesque. Check out a preview of her new track below and see how it stacks up with the rest of her movie contributions.

Season 5 of The Voice kicks off this Monday and as always, it begins with a group performance from the coaches. In the past, Christina Aguilera, Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Cee Lo Green tackled hits from Queen, Prince, The Rolling Stones and Green Day. When Shakira and and Usher filled in, they joined Levine and Shelton on “Come Together” and “With A Little Help From My Friends” by The Beatles.

For the original coaches‘ first performance back together they’re rocking it out on the classic Joan Jett & The Blackhearts cover, “I Love Rock ‘N Roll.” For me, Christina steals the show. She looks and sounds friggin’ fantastic. Check out the performance below.
