There was a time when having Chris Brown as a featured artist would guarantee results. Lately however, Brown has been more of a curse than a blessing. Both Tinashe and Rita Ora saw their singles “Player” and “Body On Me” go nowhere despite his help. Here’s hoping Zendaya has better luck with Breezy by her side.

The 19-year-old just dropped her new single titled “Something New.” It’s her first offering since switching labels from Disney to Republic.

While I love her usage of TLC’s iconic hit “Creep,” the hook isn’t catchy enough for me. It should do well on urban radio, but not sure it has pop crossover potential. Don’t get me wrong. I like it but I just don’t love it. Maybe it’s a grower. Personally her underrated single “Replay” was much better.

Here’s hoping Zendaya’s team crafts a killer music video to elevate the track. Give the track a listen below.

Have you checked out Selena Gomez’s sizzling “Hands To Myself” music video? If you haven’t, you definitely should. Her love interest in the clip is all kinds of fine. Christopher Mason is totally my type. Long blond hair, scruffy and tight little body. He kinda looks like ANTM contestant Mikey Heverly, one of my favorites from Cycle 22.

Naturally, I scoured the Internet to learn more about my latest crush. Turns out, Christopher Mason isn’t his real name. The 5’11” stunner was born, believe it or not, as Chris Brown. Kinda makes sense why the name change, right?

Mason is currently repped by Wilhlemina Models LA. He’s worked for labels like Levis, 7 For All Mankind and Hollister. For those who like a hot DILF, he qualifies. He has an adorable daughter. Check out some of his sexiest Instagram posts below.

No rest for Chris Brown this Thanksgiving long weekend. The 26-year-old singer not only unleashed a new music video but a surprise mixtape as well featuring some pretty big names. The opening track alone features Rihanna, Kelly Rowland and Wiz Khalifa. French Montana, Fetty Wap, Tyga and Wale also contribute.

Before The Party features a whopping 34 tracks. That’s insane. Where did he find the time to record all those tracks considering his new studio album, Royalty, drops in just a couple of weeks.

Speaking of Royalty, Brown unveils the latest visual off the LP. “Fine By Me” picks right up where his previous epic clip, “Liquor/Zero,” left off. Breezy is lured into a mysterious warehouse by a lady. Once there, an evil madmen unleashes his army of henchmen on Brown. Watch Chris below slay them on the dance floor with his killer moves.

A month after dropping her catchy new track, “Player,” Tinashe finally unveils the accompanying visual. It’s about time.

The 22-year-old singer engages in dance battles with both men and women in the Emil Nava-directed clip. Chris Brown who lends his vocals on the track also appears in the clip.

I always knew girlfriend could dance, but I had no idea she was so proficient in several styles. If she ever competed on Dancing With The Stars, she’d definitely be a contender. A slayer in the recording studio and on the dance floor. That’s my girl!!

“Player” is off Tinashe’s forthcoming album Joyride. Hopefully, the new visual helps the track’s performance on the charts. Sadly, it’s not performing as well as I’d expected. Such a shame given how sensational the track is. Watch the music video below.

Party Favors,” the first taste off her hotly-anticipated album Joyride was a’ight, but this is how you do it. My girl is poised to dominate this Fall with this. The seductively-delivered chorus is everything!!!

Tinashe debuted two versions of “Player” earlier today. One featuring Chris Brown and one without. Wise move catering to those who find Brown repulsive. With that being said, I personally like the version sans Chris. He’s completely unnecessary on the slinky urban-pop masterpiece. I can’t wait for the accompanying music video. Given Tinashe’s past offerings, it’s going to be one steamy visual.

Jimmy Kimmel recently convinced Josh Groban to sing tweets by Donald Trump. The late night host followed that up with Kelly Clarkson belting out real Tinder profiles to music. For his latest stunt, Kimmel enlisted Rita Ora to transform attention-grabbing “clickbait” headlines from around the internet into a catchy new track. The result is another hilarious home run by Kimmel’s team.

While on the show, Ora also performed her current single, “Body On Me.” The 24-year-old seductively sashayed around the studio, eventually leading into an encounter with Chris Brown. Like the music video, the two create major heat with Ora giving Brown a lap dance in front of a live studio audience.

Something tells me their ‘chemistry‘ is a little too authentic. Just saying 😉 Check out the sexy performance below, along with “The Clickbait Song.”

Benny Benassi and Chris Brown first collaborated on the global smash “Beautiful People” back in 2011. That track was off Brown’s F.A.M.E. LP. This time around, it’s Brown who’s the featured artist.

Paradise” features a pulsating EDM beat which progressively builds to a musical climax. Though I’m not a fan of Brown’s antics outside the recording studio, I can’t deny he sounds great when accompanied with a fantastic bassline.

“Paradise” will undoubtedly dominate the clubs but it could also invade radio as well. Give it a listen below.

Rita Ora Enlists Fetty Wap For ‘Body On Me’ Remix

In: Donovan, Music

Fetty Wap currently occupies the No. 8, 9 and 11 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. With that kind of success, it’s no wonder Rita Ora enlisted the 25-year-old rapper for a remix of her current single “Body On Me.” Maybe some of his good luck will rub off on her. Girl is thirsty for a hit.

Chris Brown, who’s featured on the original, still remains on the new version. However, his verses are pushed back to make room for Fetty’s vocals. Surprisingly, Wap shows off his singing talent instead of his lyrical prowess.

Personally, I like the original version more. I’m not a fan of the reworked beat. But who knows? It might grow on me. I originally was ho-hum about “Body On Me” but quickly changed my tune once I saw the accompanying visual. Now, I can’t get enough of it. Give the remix a listen below.
