Jennifer Lopez Heads To The Bronx For Same Girl Video

Jenny from the block is back. It’s been 15 years since Jennifer Lopez released her debut effort, On The 6. The Bronx-born entertainer finds herself back on the same subway line to show her fans she’s still the same girl from years ago, albeit just a tad more glamorous and a whole lot richer.

After her third EDM collaboration with Pitbull failed to live up to its predecessors, Jennifer Lopez is wisely going a different musical route for her upcoming 10th studio album. Much like her wicked “Girls” DJ Mustard creation, “Same Girl” harkens back to J.Lo’s Fly Girl urban era. As much as I love her dance tracks, I appreciate this change of pace.

“This was just something I was doing for the fans, it’s not a first single or anything like that”, told Jennifer to Ryan Seacrest.

Rocking a New York Yankees cap and fur-trimmed winter jacket, the 44-year-old diva shows us the sights and sounds of her former Castle Hill neighborhood. At the end of the clip, she gives a shout out to her childhood peeps. “Thank you Andrew Freedman House, Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra, and to all my people in the Bronx… You’re forever in my heart.” Check out the visual for the Chris Brown-penned track below.

Battle of the Year? Definitely not. Chris Brown’s dancing flick bombed big time at the box office this weekend. Even though it opened in over 2,000 theaters and had the cache of Brown and Josh Holloway as the marquee names, it only managed to bring in an embarrassing $5 million. With bad reviews rolling in, I highly doubt it’ll recoup it’s relatively small budget of $20 million. Better stick to your day job Breezy.

On the flip side, Prisoners rode rave reviews to the top. With a two and a half hour run time, disturbing themes, and premise not being based on known source material, the film overcame its obstacles with solid results. The Hugh Jackman-Jake Gyllenhaal kidnapping tale opened to an estimated $21.4 million. With an A- CinemaScore, the drama should enjoy relatively small declines in the coming weeks.

The other new release this weekend, wasn’t very new at all. The Wizard of Oz was re-released in 3D/IMAX format and managed to pull in an additional $3 million to its lifetime total. Pretty impressive given it was only in about 300 theaters and almost matched Chris Brown’s film’s take. LOL. Check out the rest of the Top 10 below.

First she topped Maxim’s Hottest Women list and now this. While Miley Cyrus is no angel, labeling her the worst female celebrity role model is a tad unwarranted, especially given the trainwrecks out there like Lindsay Lohan, Amanda Bynes, Farrah Abraham and so forth. Sure Cyrus is a bit wild, but she’s been with the same guy for years, hasn’t been in and out of rehab, been arrested or doing porn like the aforementioned ladies.

Apparently, the parents taking part in a survey conducted by CouponCodes4U disagree with me. Miley along with Chris Brown top the worst female and male celebrity role model lists respectively. PS. Brown definitely deserves his title and then some.

Also making the list is the Kardashian clan. While Khloe didn’t make the cut, Kim and her baby daddy Kanye West, Kourtney and Bruce Jenner were singled out. Bruce Jenner, really??? Why him? I don’t watch their E! show so I’m not sure why he’s being called out.

What I find fascinating about the survey is that most of the women are relatively young and in their 20s while only Justin Bieber and Brown are the only two under the age of 30. Interesting, don’t you think? Check out who else landed on the lists.

That’s probably three people you didn’t expect to see in the same sentence? At first glance, you don’t think they have much in common and you’d be correct. Henry Cavill and Adele are both from the UK, while Chris Brown is American. With that mind though, both Adele and Brown are musicians. The “Rolling In The Deep” singer has beaten Rihanna for Grammys and Chris has beaten… You can fill in the blanks.

No matter who you are, regardless of star status, everyone has their fair share of fans and haters. Celebrities just have more than most. Star magazine compiled a list of twenty celebrities who have more people loathing them, than adoring them. Check out which controversial singers, self-promoting reality TV stars and pretentious actors made the list.

Naturally, Chris Brown made the cut. Ever since assaulting then-girlfriend Rihanna back in 2009, he’s been on many people’s hit list. His seemingly lack of remorse and douchey attitude hasn’t helped redeem his image. Surprisingly, the R&B singer lands at No. 20. Believe it or not, there are 19 other personalities more hated than him.

Kim Kardashian, whom I loathe, and mom-ager Kris Jenner only placed at 11th and 10th respectively. Anne Hathaway with her perceived faux humility and humbleness during the Oscar awards season earned her a No. 9 slot. Not even cheating Kristen Stewart with her surly and less-than-thrilled expressions snagged the top spot. She came up short in the runner-up slot. Find out who the “Most Hated Celebrity In Hollywood” is below and the rest of the Top 20.

This morning, Chris Brown stopped by Ryan Seacrest‘s radio show for an interview about his music and of course all of the things that have happened in his personal life over the past few years.

They first talk about his music and how he has a new album coming out called X, the roman numeral for ten which is how many years he’s now been in the business (he’s only 24 years old right now). X is also the 24th letter in the alphabet and he also has an X tattoo so it all has meaning to him. Brown will be releasing a new single on April 1 called “Fine China” and also worked with Jennifer Lopez on some music (I think both for his album as well as for hers).

The meaty part of the interview is how he handles the questions about what happened with Rihanna and the downward spiral after that. He was also asked how he responds to fans that say, “I like his music but I can’t like him anymore.” He was also asked “What’s the greatest lesson you’ve learned going through that hard time?

I have to say that this is the best interview he has ever done and really seems to get how people perceive him and really accepts responsibility for everything he did, how he acted and what was at stake. He doesn’t make any excuses for what he did and really seems to have changed. Listen to the interview below and share your thoughts in the comments.

Rihanna & Chris Brown are back together, but the infamous and unfortunate “incident” that occurred before the Grammy’s a few years back hasn’t gone away.

In next week’s episode of Law & Order: SVU, without saying it exactly in so many words, they are portraying a story inspired by what happened between Rihanna and Chris Brown – complete with the photographed bruised face. The narrator says, “A familiar story of two celebrities intertwined by abused.

Instead of Chris, the character’s name is Caleb and the members of the SVU team have a hard time getting through to the abused girlfriend because they say Caleb has a hold on her. Of course it’s Law & Order so expect a twist at the end of the episode, just as the preview suggests. Check out the preview below.

In the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Rihanna has opened up about getting back together with her ex, Chris Brown, and what it means for her public image. I know that so many Homorazzi readers that are (or were) Rihanna fans certainly experienced a backlash for some of her choices and especially choosing to be with Brown again.

I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” she tells contributing editor Josh Eells in the magazine. “I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”

This public reconciliation between the former couple is happening less than four years since Brown assaulted Rihanna the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards. He had pleaded guilty to assault and performed community service, and still remains on probation. I’m not sure how this alleged assault on Frank Ocean from a few days will affect that situation.

What she says will happen if he ever displayed any signs of past behavior, after the jump…
