The last time I wrote about the sexy Cheyenne Jackson it was for his “I Don’t Wanna Know” music video, which I loved. This time, I’m writing about a cover he just did of a song I really like.

In the video below, Jackson does a cover of Elton John’s “Your Song” and it’s really sweet. Steve Bargonetti is in the background playing guitar while Jackson sings. If you recall, the song was also sung by Ewan McGregor in Moulin Rouge and is definitely my favorite song from that movie. While whipping this article together, I also found a cover that Ellie Goulding did of “Your Song” as well. I’ve included it below, along with the Moulin Rouge version and Elton John’s original version.

Check out all four version of the song and vote on which one you like best. Enjoy!

I. Love. This. Video. It’s so cute! We already know that Cheyenne Jackson is a major heartthrob, but seeing him dancing around and flirt with all the boys takes it to another level. Earlier this month, Jackson teased us with just the tip a clip of his music video for “Don’t Wanna Know.” Now, we’re all the way in with the full version (Get your mind out of the gutter, Patrick).

From the mailman to construction workers to a police officer, he’s got everyone’s attention after getting his heart broken by his ex-boyfriend in the video. In the song, Jackson sings, “I don’t wanna know, I don’t wanna know / If you slept in your bed for a week / No, I don’t wanna know, I don’t wanna know / When the scent on your neck isn’t me / It’s not fair / Why should I care / Cuz I made it clear that you’re not what I need.”

It’s such a fun video and the song is catchy too. The video features many familiar Broadway stars, including Nick Adams (Priscilla, Queen of the Desert) as the police officer and Matt Cavenaugh (Grey Gardens) as his Jackson’s ex-boyfriend. The ending is kinda sad though – wah, wah. Enjoy!

Openly gay & married singer/actor/dancer, Cheyenne Jackson has just released a preview for his new music video and single, “Don’t Wanna Know” which comes out later this month. Back in May, he released his debut single and music video called “Drive“.

In this new music video preview, Cheyenne is dancing in the streets with an entourage that includes several hot construction workers (as depicted in the header photo above). In one part of the song, Cheyenne sings, “I don’t wanna know, I don’t wanna know / If you slept in your bed for a week / No, I don’t wanna know, I don’t wanna know / When the scene on your neck isn’t me / It’s not fair / Why should I care / Cuz I made it clear that you’re not what I need.”

The music video was directed by Nick Everhart and the choreography (which there is a lot of) was done by Joey Pizzi. Check out the fun & sexy preview below. The single (and I’m assuming full music video) comes out on December 18. Enjoy!

Check Out The Mockingbird Lane Teaser

In: Donovan, TV Shows

NBC’s costly reboot of the campy 1960s sitcom The Munsters if finally seeing the light of day. The project was originally planned as a new series, but after the pilot was filmed, the network brass wasn’t pleased with the outcome. Instead of shelving the reported $10 million project, NBC is airing the Mockingbird Bird pilot as a stand-alone Halloween special as part of their Fright Night event on Friday, October 26.

Mockingbird Lane stars Jerry O’Connell (Herman Munster), Portia de Rossi (Lily Munster), Eddie Izzard (Grandpa/Sam Dracula) and Cheyenne Jackson (Scout Master Steve). The re-imagining of the classic show is from the brainchild of Bryan Fuller whose previous credits include Pushing Daisies, Dead Like Me, Wonderfalls and Star Trek: DS9. Funny enough, Mockingbird Lane isn’t the only project Fuller is working on for NBC. He’s also in charge of bringing Hannibal Lector to television in Hannibal. Hopefully, he has better luck with that reboot than with Mockingbird Lane.

A new movie trailer has come out for a comedy called Price Check that stars the hilarious Parker Posey and the sexy Eric Mabius, whom you probably remember most from Ugly Betty.

The film follows Pete Coxy (Mabius), a guy who has found himself a house in the suburbs and a job in the pricing department of a supermarket. The job allows him to spend time with his wife and son and they seem happy, even though they have tons of debt to pay off. Then, something changes. When Pete gets a new sexy “I get what I want” boss named Susan Felders (Posey), he gets put on the executive track, his salary doubles, and in turn he has less time to spend with his family. His relationship with his boss soon crosses the line and this creates tension between his personal & professional life. It looks really good.

The film also stars Annie Parisse, Josh Pais, Cheyenne Jackson and Edward Herrmann. The movie comes out on November 16 for limited release. Check out the trailer below!

The sexy Cheyenne Jackson is the cover boy for the UK’s Attitude magazine this coming July. The sexy Broadway, TV and film star poses shirtless, all oiled up for our viewing pleasure. Even in his fully clothed shots, he is super studly. In the new issue, Cheyenne talks about being openly gay in Hollywood as well as working with mega star, Alec Baldwin. Check out a few excerpts from his interview and the sexy photo spread below.

ON BEING OPENLY GAY IN HOLLYWOOD:
“The more it happens, the easier it is for others, although I do understand why some actors choose not to come out. I have several famous friends who are still in the closet.”

ON WORKING WITH ALEC BALDWIN:
“I’ve learned to be totally comfortable around Alec Baldwin, but he used to scare the crap out of me. He’s so alpha male. He’ll move you out of the way if you’re in his light, and one time I thought he was done talking and I started to say something and he put his big beefy hand on my arm to silence me.”

Sexy Broadway star, Cheyenne Jackson has released his first music video for his debut single, “Drive” and we’ve got your first look. Actually, “Drive” is also the name of his upcoming EP due out in July.

Jackson enlisted the work of Austrian filmmaker Christian Hörlesberger for his music video, choosing to do an animated video as opposed to one featuring his pretty face. The video is actually very cool and I found myself totally captivated. It took four months to make the video and when you watch it, you’ll understand why. On top of that, the song is actually really good and I’m eager to hear what the rest of his EP will sound like.

Jackson’s EP was written with Sia Furler, Stevie Aiello, and Charlotte Sometimes, and the first two singles were produced by Thomas “Tawgs” Salter. Check out the song & video below.

The other day I teased that Cheyenne Jackson was marrying “White Collar’s” Matt Bomer. That, however, was referring to an upcoming Broadway play they were both starring in. Sadly for all you Cheyenne admirers, this time the news of his nuptials are for real. The “30 Rock” star married his longtime partner, Monte Lapka, of 11 years in a small intimate ceremony this weekend. The due exchanged vows on the beach in the Hamptons. He’s the latest gay celebrity to take advantage of New York’s recent passing of marriage equality. Designer Michael Kors, recently married his longtime partner as well.

Cheyenne, himself, broke the news by tweeting a pic with following caption, “It’s official, after 11 years together, Zora’s no longer a bastard“. Zora is the couple’s Rotweiler whom they refer to as his daughter. How cute. Jackson later added “Just married the best man I’ve ever known.” By the looks of it, the ceremony was pretty similar to a dream wedding he described in an interview to WNBC New York last year.

“Something small. My dream wedding involves just close friends and good music,” the Broadway veteran said, “And we’ll both be in tuxes. Unfortunately, nobody’s going to be wearing a dress, but that’s okay, too…Our dog would be there. Our dog, our daughter, Zora. … Pretty boring, but something just nice and on the beach.”
