Unfortunately due to a week-long illness that has prevented me from doing anything productive, this RADICAL concert review is getting to you a little late; however, believe me, it was worth the wait! Just over a week ago (on March 24th to be exact) my girlfriend Saxon and I were lucky enough to snag two tickets to the Southern Voice Tour 2010 to see Lady Antebellum and Tim McGraw perform live at GM Place in Vancouver! I have seen Tim McGraw a few times already and knew what to expect, but I haven’t seen Lady Antebellum and I was more than pumped.
We got to the stadium a bit early as I wanted to ensure we had enough time for a pre-show bathroom break, grab a couple beers to tie us over until the first ‘slow-song-interlude-slash-booze-run’ and get to our seats. Our tickets were at will call as I scored them through a work colleague and after a little fumble with my last name spelt wrong in the computer, we were headed in. Little did we know that we would be second row in the section directly to the right of the stage! There was a catwalk that jutted out literally into our laps, it was phenomenal.
