It’s the question every gay man wanted the answer to. Exactly who was Tom Daley dating? Admit it, you were wondering it too after watching the 19-year-old’s coming out YouTube video. According to E! Online, it’s none other than Academy Award-winning writer Dustin Lance Black.
“In spring this year, my life changed massively when I met someone and they made me feel so happy, so safe and everything just feels great,” the 19-year-old said. “And that someone is a guy. It did take me by surprise a little bit. It was always in the back of my head that something like that could happen, but it wasn’t until spring this year that something just clicked. It felt right and I thought, ‘OK,’ and my whole world changed there and then.” – Tom Daley’s YouTube Video
Love is certainly in the air. You can add Josh Kilmer-Purcell and Brent Ridge aka the Fabulous Beekman Boys to the growing list of gay celebrity couples tying the knot since last week’s Supreme Court DOMA ruling. Living up to their “Fabulous” name, the Cooking Channel reality stars hosted a fabulous rustic wedding at their farm in Sharon Springs, N.Y. The two have been dating since 2000. If you’re an Amazing Race fan, you’ll recognize them from the 21st season where they won the competition.
Among the 300 guests to share their special day (Friday June 28) was Martha Stewart who was on hand to broadcast their nuptials on her Sirius XM radio show. The lifestyle guru also contributed some 100 hard-boiled eggs to the potluck feast. Guests were asked to bring an “heirloom dish“- a dessert or side dish that had special meaning in their family- instead of gifts. Check out a couple pictures from their wedding below. Congratulations to Brent and Josh. We wish you all the best.
With the Supreme Court overturning the Defense of Marriage Act and Prop 8, gay couples across the land have started planning their weddings. Why shouldn’t LGBT celebrities get in on the action as well? To quote US magazine, “stars, they’re just like us.” Neil Patrick Harris revealed to E! News over the weekend, that marriage will be inevitable with David Burtka, his fiance of seven years. One gay actor didn’t waste anytime and wed his partner yesterday.
John Barrowman of Torchwood fame tied the knot with his long-time partner Scott Gill. The couple previously entered into a civil partnership in the UK on December 27, 2006. It’s about time the 46-year-old actor made an honest man out of Gill. After 20 years together, it’s definitely long overdue. Like I should talk, Brian and I have been together for 13 years and it’s been legal to marry here for ages ;)
“We’re getting married in the state of California. Thank you Supreme Court, about time you made it legal. See you after we have the ceremony!” the Doctor Who actor shared via a video on WhoSay. Later in the day, the couple added, “We are now legally married. Thanks for all your great wishes. JB and Scott.” Check out the happy couple posing with their marriage certificate below, along with their video announcement and an impromptu duet of Air Supply’s “I’m All Out Love.” Love that song.
All I have to say is if US Weekly’s report is true then this sitcom actress is one lucky beyotch. Seriously, what I wouldn’t give to see Henry Cavill in the flesh, let alone touch that sculpted Man of Steel body of his. Not only does this blond actress star in a huge comedy hit, but she’s the leading lady in Cavill’s life. Find out who’s rumored to be in a secret relationship with Superman below.
There’s no denying that The O.C. and Gossip Girl are two of the most beloved teen shows in recent years. Both were developed from the mind of Josh Schwartz and each became watercooler sensations for their captivating first seasons. They certainly defined their respective generations brilliantly with their oh-so-cool banter, music soundtrack and pop culture references. But without a doubt, what made each show so addicting were the couples, audiences were rooting for.
Admit it, you were a fan of Marissa & Ryan, Summer & Seth, Blair & Chuck or Serena & Dan. I know I was. Imagine my delight when I came across an US Weekly article revealing that there was some crossover romance involving cast members from each show. Too bad both shows weren’t on the air at the same time. Watching this new couple happen on screen would’ve been epic. Find out who Hollywood’s newest celebrity couple is below.
In the new issue of Rolling Stone magazine, Rihanna has opened up about getting back together with her ex, Chris Brown, and what it means for her public image. I know that so many Homorazzi readers that are (or were) Rihanna fans certainly experienced a backlash for some of her choices and especially choosing to be with Brown again.
“I decided it was more important for me to be happy,” she tells contributing editor Josh Eells in the magazine. “I wasn’t going to let anybody’s opinion get in the way of that. Even if it’s a mistake, it’s my mistake. After being tormented for so many years, being angry and dark, I’d rather just live my truth and take the backlash. I can handle it.”
This public reconciliation between the former couple is happening less than four years since Brown assaulted Rihanna the night before the 2009 Grammy Awards. He had pleaded guilty to assault and performed community service, and still remains on probation. I’m not sure how this alleged assault on Frank Ocean from a few days will affect that situation.
Love is in the air, especially for former reality television contestants. Just the other day, a showmance on Big Brother resulted in Daniele Donato and Dominic Briones’ wedding. Just a few months prior, another couple from the CBS summer guilty pleasure also tied the knot- the infamous Brenchel. From the looks of it, Cupid has moved on and aimed his love arrows on another long-running reality show.
To the best of my recollection, I can’t think of a relationship resulting from FOX’s So You Think You Can Dance. Even American Idol has Ace Young and Diana DeGarmo. Please correct me if I’m wrong. If not, this could be SYTYCD’s first engaged couple. Not just any ordinary one at that, but an All-Stars one. Can you just imagine how insanely beautiful their first dance will be at their wedding? The best part of this news is that I actually really like both of these two. Have any guesses? They’re pictured in the photo above.
And they say showmances don’t last. Apparently being watched 24/7 on the live feeds is the perfect breeding ground for true love. At this rate, Big Brother might catch up to ABC’s The Bachelor franchise for making true love connections. Even Survivor has a decent track record for hooking up contestants, and those bitches must smell funky after not showering and brushing their teeth for days. GROSS.
A few months ago, Rachel Reilly and Brendon Villegas married after spending two summers in the Big Brother house. Now, another couple from the CBS reality show joins the polarizing duo as BB newlyweds. Have any ideas on who? Fan favorites Jeff Schroeder and Jordan Lloyd have been dating for a couple of years now. Could it be them? Or other lovebirds? Continue reading to find out.
