FOX is inching ever so close to completing the cast for its ambitious live production of Grease. Today’s announcement includes two Pink Ladies and a T-Bird.

Fresh off her Broadway stint as Cinderella, Carly Rae Jepsen has been tapped to play everyone’s favorite beauty school dropout. The 29-year-old will don a pink wig to play Frenchy. Absolutely inspired casting if you ask me.

The “Run Away With You” singer joins previously announced cast members Julianne Hough as Sandy, Aaron Tveit as Danny, Vanessa Hudgens as Rizzo, Carlos PenaVega as Kenickie and Keke Palmer as Marty.

Nicki Minaj Developing Series For ABC Family

Fingers crossed this turns out better than her last foray into television. Remember her one-and-done season of American Idol? No bueno.

Deadline reports Nicki Minaj inked a deal to develop a scripted comedy series for ABC Family. Not only will the 32-year-old rapper appear in it but also executive produce it.

“Nicki Minaj is a force to be reckoned with at everything she touches,” said ABC Family’s EVP Programming and Development Karey Burke. “Nicki is an international superstar, yet not everyone knows how inspiring and hilarious her true story is, and we can’t wait to share it with the world.”

Who you gonna call? In Paul Feig’s case, that would be Sigourney Weaver. The 53-year-old director revealed the OG cast member is returning to the Ghostbusters franchise.

The 65-year-old actress is the latest original cast member to return to the all-female reboot. She reunites with Bill Murray, Ernie Hudson, Annie Potts and Dan Aykroyd who are all also making cameos.

For the original film and its sequel, Weaver played Dana Barrett aka the Gatekeeper. Let’s hope she shows off her levitation skills once again.

Vanessa Williams Joins The Good Wife

Fresh off her long-overdue apology from the Miss America organization, Vanessa Williams has booked a new gig. The Ugly Betty alum joins The Good Wife on a recurring basis for Season 7.

According to the CBS press release, she’ll play Courtney Boalt, “an extremely successful, self-made businesswoman, who is potentially interested in backing Peter Florrick’s (Chris Noth) campaign for president. In the process, she meets Eli Gold (Alan Cumming), sparking a mutual attraction”

“There are very few names you can put side-by-side that make you laugh,” said executive producers Robert and Michelle King in a statement. “Alan Cumming and Vanessa Williams are at the top of that list. We couldn’t be more excited.”

Amanda Seyfried Joins Twin Peaks Revival

Before she shared her ESPN weather predicting talents in Mean Girls, Amanda Seyfried appeared in As The World Turns and Veronica Mars. The 29-year-old actress returns to her television roots for a high-profile project.

TVLine reveals Seyfried booked a multi-episode arc for Showtime’s Twin Peaks revival. The publication reports she’ll be playing a ‘pivotal new character.’ She’ll join original cast members Kyle MacLachlan, Sheryl Lee, Dana Ashbook and Sherilyn Fenn who are all returning to reprise their roles.

FOX Finds A Foxy New Girl For New Girl

During Zooey Deschanel’s maternity leave, FOX has found a foxy replacement to shake things up in the loft during her absence.

To explain Deschanel’s temporary exit, her character Jess is sequestered on jury duty. On the sixth episode, a gorgeous, straight-shooting pharmaceutical sales rep named Regan rents out her room. Find out who’s been tapped to join the cast of New Girl for Season 5.

Rachel McAdams Confirms Doctor Strange Role

After months of rumors, Rachel McAdams confirmed her participation in Marvel’s next hotly-anticipated comic book adaptation. The 36-year-old actress did so during an interview with The Wrap at the Toronto International Film Festival.

When pressed about her role specifically in Doctor Strange, she joked she’d probably be in trouble if she revealed more. Those Marvel people would probably take her out in a heartbeat for doing so 😉

The film will most likely be an origin story of how neurosurgeon Stephen Vincent Strange became the primary protector of Earth against magical and mystical threats after a horrific accident.

McAdams joins Benedict Cumberbatch who’s taking on the titular role. Tilda Swinton and Chiwetel Ejiofor are also on board playing the Ancient One and Baron Mordo respectively. Reportedly, filming will begin in November with a release date of November 4, 2016 in mind. Watch McAdams’ brief confirmation below.

When NBC cut ties with Donald Trump, a short list of personalities quickly emerged as ones being eyed to helm Celebrity Apprentice. Among them were Mavericks owner Mark Cuban, Sir Richard Branson, Martha Stewart and George Lopez. It appears the network has gone with someone else. Variety reports The Terminator himself, Arnold Schwarzenegger, will helm the next season.
