Matt Damon has previously claimed he was happy about the way Jason Bourne’s storlyine ended in The Bourne Ultimatum. He told CNBC, “It felt like such a good way to end it the last time.” In the same breath though he did say, “But having said that, I love that character and I’d love to see what happened to him.” It appears he’s about to find out.

The 44-year-old actor confirmed to E! that he’s returning to the spy franchise, confirming months of speculation about his involvement. “It’ll be in 2016 when the movie will actually come out. [Director] Paul Greengrass is going to do another one and that’s all I ever said. I just needed him to say yes,” he said about his comeback.

Greengrass directed the second and third installment (The Bourne Supremacy and The Bourne Ultimatum) but opted out of 2012′s The Bourne Legacy. Does this mean moviegoers can expect to see Damon joining forces with Jeremy Renner who took over the mantel after Damon’s departure? Find out below.

NBC can’t get enough of Minnie Driver. The 44-year-old actress currently stars in About A Boy and this December she’ll be pulling double duty for the peacock network. She’s set to narrate Peter Pan Live! and also play the role of a grown-up Wendy Darling.

“We’re thrilled to have Minnie as part of this Peter Pan adventure,” said Robert Greenblatt, chairman of NBC Entertainment. “She appears in the final emotional scene when Peter returns to the Darling home years later only to realize Wendy is now grown up and has a daughter of her own, but you’ll also hear her voice throughout the movie since Adult Wendy is also our narrator. She’s a classy addition to our wonderful cast.”

She previously denied reports naming her as the frontrunner to replace Joan Rivers on Fashion Police. In an interview with Access Hollywood, Kathy Griffin is finally fessing up. The 54-year-old comedienne reveals she was indeed offered a spot on the E! show.

“I don’t know if the situation is correct at this time for me or right for me at this time,” Griffin said. “I really hope they continue in the spirit of Joan’s work. She brought a fearlessness and a brand of humor into our homes that we really need.”

Scandal: Mama Pope Lives & Books Return Gig

In: Donovan, TV Shows
scandal-khandi-alexander

As if Olivia Pope’s life wasn’t tumultuous enough. Her terrorist mother returns to cause more trouble on the Scandal midseason finale, airing November 20.

Khandi Alexander reprises her role as the deliciously evil Maya Pope. She was last seen in the Season 3 finale being held captive by Papa Pope in the hole. Both Fitz and Olivia believed she was dead (again). Details on her return are being kept under wraps, as per usual with the show.

Her return couldn’t have come at a better time if you ask me. I love Scandal, but the show seems to have lost its OMG mojo during Season 4. Perhaps Shonda Rhimes is too busy with How To Get Away With Murder? Whatever the reason, it’s just not the same.

Also, I might be in the minority, but I prefer Olivia (Kerry Washington) with Jake Ballard (Scott Foley) than Fitz (Tony Goldwyn). Anyone else Team Jake?

Excited for Alexander’s return? Who do you think Olivia’s true soulmate is? Sound off below.

It feels like forever since the last season of Celebrity Apprentice aired. After a year break, the reality guilty pleasure returns on January 4, 2015 on NBC. I hate to admit it, but I’m quite excited even though The Donald gives me major gas.

Included in the bunch are a couple of Real Housewives, a former Cosby kid, musicians, Olympians, reporters, former heartthrobs and reality television’s most polarizing mom. If you don’t recognize many of the faces in the photo above, check out the entire cast below.

The 41-year-old entertainer recently revealed he passed on a role that would’ve seen his husband David Burtka and himself playing the slain gay couple in Murder House. Neil Patrick Harris will finally get his second chance to appear on American Horror Story.

It’s been confirmed that Harris and Burtka will guest star on Freak Show. Harris will pop up in the last two episodes as a chameleon salesman, while his better half will appear in the season finale. Burtka’s part hasn’t been revealed yet but it will involve Jessica Lange’s character.

This isn’t the first time NPH has appeared in a Ryan Murphy production. He popped up in Glee‘s first season finale. That role earned him an Emmy for Guest Actor in a Comedy Series. Will lightning strike again?

Neil and David aren’t the only ones recently announced to appear on Freak Show. Find out which Asylum alum is returning below.

Empire Amps The Crazy Factor With Courtney Love

In: Donovan, TV Shows
courtney-love-empire-show

Courtney Love is one crazy ass bitch and I say that with all of the utmost respect. She’s at often times very unpredictable which is why I love her. Plus I was a huge fan of her band Hole back in the day.

The 50-year-old musician has just joined the cast of midseason hip-hop drama Empire in a recurring guest star role. She will play Elle Dallas, “a hard rock powerhouse, who is part of Empire Entertainment’s stable of artists.”

Are you kidding me? Love and Naomi Campbell on the same show? This is going to be beyond epic. Empire can’t get here soon enough.

This latest acting gig comes on the heels of Hole’s recurring stint on FX’s Sons of Anarchy. It’s nice to see Courtney dabbling in acting again. Years ago she made a splash in such memorable roles in The People vs. Larry Flynt, The Man in the Moon and 200 Ciagarettes.

The FOX drama stars Terrence Howard as Lucious Lyon, the head of a record label. Taraji P. Henson (The Curious Case of Benjamin Button), Cuba Gooding, Jr. (Jerry Maguire), Gabourey Sidibe (American Horror Story), Derek Luke (The Americans) and Judd Nelson (The Breakfast Club) round out the cast. Are you excited for Love’s addition? Sound off below.
