wonder-woman-love-interest

With a female director finally locked down to helm the Wonder Woman film (Patty Jenkins stepped in after Michelle MacLaren quit), focus can now be shifted to casting some of the key roles, specifically the superheroine’s love interest.

Rumor has it, Scott Eastwood was offered the role but was also eying a smaller part in Suicide Squad. When pressed to make a decision, the 29-year-old stud decided to participate in the star-studded antihero film instead. That sucks big time. He would’ve been perfect to play United States Air Force pilot, Steve Trevor. Find out below who producers are test-screening for the part.

ewan-mcgregor-beauty-and-the-beast

Ewan McGregor is no stranger when it comes to big budget musicals. The 44-year-old Scottish actor dazzled alongside Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge. Til this day, I play the soundtrack frequently, especially “Your Song” and “Elephant Love Medley.”

If reports are true, moviegoers will soon see McGregor showing off his vocal chops once again on the big screen. According to the Hollywood Reporter, he’s in final negotiations to join the live action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. Find out which character he might play below.

empire-season-2-cast

Anyone else going through Empire withdrawal? I definitely am. It’s not the same without a weekly sassy one-liner from the one and only Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson).

TVLine.com reports that two cast members featured during the freshman series of the hip-hop drama have been promoted for Season 2. Have any guesses? While I was hoping for either Naomi Campbell or Courtney Love to make more appearances, I’m okay with the lucky duo. These two characters are fan favorites and made memorable splashes whenever they appeared on screen. Find out who below.

zoolander-2-cast

Talks of a Zoolander sequel have been swirling for years now. Things finally kicked into high gear when Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson reprised their fashionable roles to walk the runway during Paris Fashion Week, officially ushering in Zoolander 2. Since then, everyone’s been trying to learn more details about the film.

Stiller has wisely kept everyone informed via his Instagram. In the past several days, the 49-year-old actor revealed two more additions to the already ridiculously good-looking cast. As you’d expect, he shared the news in irreverent ways.

For Penelope Cruz, Stiller posted what appears to be a school picture taken during Cruz’s awkward growing up phase. While for Billy Zane, he filmed the Titanic star wearing a Hansel-looking wig. For the latter video, you can hear Ben talking in his Zoolander voice. I can’t wait for the comedy sequel. Check out both announcements below.

Colton Haynes Leaves Arrow As Series Regular

In: Donovan, TV Shows

NOOOOOOOOOO!!! The worst part of this isn’t the fact he won’t be gracing my television screen on a weekly basis, but rather I’m no longer going to bump into Colton Haynes randomly on the streets of Vancouver or at the gym. Who am I going to stalk now ;)

On last night’s episode of Arrow, you saw Roy Harper aka Arsenal leaving Starling City. If you were hoping it was simply a ruse, you’re out of luck. He’s leaving The CW show as a series regular. But since his character wasn’t killed off, the door is open for him to return. He’s scheduled to make one more appearance this season.

“Colton will not be returning to the show as a series regular in Season 4, but will appear in one additional episode this season,” a rep confirmed to The Hollywood Reporter. “Like all characters that exist in this universe, there will always be the potential for him return moving forward.”

She previously appeared in 2006’s X-Men: The Last Stand, but at that time she had the ability to teleport herself through areas of shadow and was played by Mei Melancon.

sarah-paulson-american-horror-story-hotel

Praise baby Jesus!!! With Jessica Lange not taking part in American Horror Story: Hotel, I don’t think I could’ve handled a Sarah Paulson-less season of the FX horror series. Could you? Thankfully, she’s booked a hotel reservation for the fifth season.

“My focus will always be on American Horror Story for as long as he’ll have me,” Paulson told The Hollywood Reporter in December, ahead of her American Crime Story casting. “I have never felt so completely seen by another director or producer or person before in terms of his willingness time and time again to give me something to do that I didn’t even think I was capable of doing. I don’t know why in the world I’d want to go elsewhere when I’m getting the best deal in town. I absolutely want to do season five.”

Many fans wondered if the 40-year-old actress would even have time to participate given her lead role in Ryan Murphy’s highly-anticipated new offering, American Crime Story about the infamous OJ Simpson trial. Thankfully, Murphy and Paulson found a way to make it work. Read his tweet below teasing her new role.

eddie-redmayne-harry-potter-spinoff

According to Variety, Eddie Redmayne is on top of the list to play the lead in the Harry Potter spin-off. The events of Fantastic Beasts and Where To Find Them takes place in New York seven decades before Potter’s story begins.

Redmayne is being eyed to play Newt Scamander in the highly-anticipated film. The character is described as a “magiczoologist.” For all you Potterheads, you know that’s a person who studies magical creatures. Besides Scamander, there are four other main roles — two American girls and two American boys.
