NBC isn’t holding back. It appears the peacock network is doing everything in its power to salvage Sean Saves The World. Yesterday, they gave us the Will & Grace reunion we’ve all been waiting for- Jack McFarland and Karen Walker together again. Today, we have another bit of stunt casting. Sean Hayes finally gets some man-on-man loving. His love interest has been cast. Find out who below.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, Momoa is currently in talks to join the Man of Steel sequel, tentatively titled Batman vs Superman. The casting rumor is on the heels of Israeli supermodel Gal Gadot joining the film as Wonder Woman. Find out what characters he’s being considered for below.
When Glee paid tribute to Cory Monteith, many fans were surprised not everyone returned for the special episode. Most notably Dianna Agron (Quinn), since her character and Finn had such a complex history. Speculation began that there was beef between the actress and Lea Michele or Ryan Murphy. All parties involved denied it (naturally of course).
For the FOX show’s milestone 100th episode, Murphy sent out invites to the original cast. One by one, former regular cast members including Amber Riley, Mark Salling and Harry Shum Jr confirmed their participation. While it’s great to see them, today’s announcement is the most exciting. Both Heather Morris and Agron have been added to the returning alums. Morris was written off the show when she announced her pregnancy. In addition to all the above, one notable guest star is also joining the celebration. Find out who below.
The single most iconic female super hero of all time has been cast.
Wonder Woman, who has been in movie production hell since forever, has finally found a face. Newcomer (THANK GOD) Gal Gadot who was seen in one of the Fast and Furious movies has been chosen to portray the female icon in the Warner Bros. movie universe, starting with her first appearance in Superman v. Batman, also starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.
I couldn’t be more thrilled.
The casting for this role is probably one of the hardest. Everyone will have an opinion, and I personally think they chose well. Her face is stunning, she’s got that exotic look that WW needs. Throw her in a gym for a year, give her a GREAT push up bra, some hair extension and a GREAT outfit and we’ve got the perfect Wonder Woman.
Good job WB, you’ve done well so far! Click below to see the new face of Wonder Woman!
Just the other day Rita Ora joined the Fifty Shades of Grey movie as Christian Grey’s adopted sister Mia. Today we learn who’s been tapped to play the matriarch of the Grey family. Academy Award-winning actress Marcia Gay Harden will play Dr. Grace Trevelyan Grey in the film adaptation. With Christian (Jamie Dornan), Elliot (Luke Grimes), Ora and Harden all in, the only remaining Grey family member left to cast is daddy Grey.
Marcia can currently be seen on HBO’s The Newsroom and ABC’s Trophy Wife. The latter is ratings-challenged, but hopefully the alphabet network gives it a chance to catch on. I actually quite enjoy it. The 54-year-old actress’ film credits include Mystic River, Into the Wild and Pollock, for which she won an Oscar.
What do you think of Harden’s casting? Who do you think should play her husband? Weigh in below.
The Fifty Shades of Grey movie began shooting in Vancouver today. Early paparazzi shots showed Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson filming at a cafe. Pretty soon, visuals of Rita Ora on set will surface. The 23-year-old British singer revealed via Twitter she’s joining the sexually-charged film adaptation.
“It’s official! I’ve been cast in @FiftyShades of Grey as Christian’s sister Mia.” – Rita Ora
If you’re scratching your head thinking Ora and Dornan bear no resemblance, it’s because Mia is the adopted younger sister of the billionaire S&M enthusiast. Fifty is Rita’s latest foray into acting. She previously appeared as a racer in Fast & Furious 6. What do you think of Rita’s casting? Do you think she’s a solid choice for the role? Sound off below.
You probably don’t know the bearded stud’s name on the left, but you might recognize him. Max Martini has appeared on both the big and small screen. Recently he saved Tom Hanks’ life in Captain Phillips and also appeared in Pacific Rim and Saving Private Ryan.
The 43-year-old actor is playing protector once again. He joins the Fifty Shades of Grey movie playing Christian Grey’s bodyguard. Cue “I’ll Always Love You.” Kevin Costner wishes he had Martini’s sex appeal. This guy is sex on a stick.
Fifty Shades of Grey begins filming in Vancouver next month. Recently, Universal and Focus revealed the movie was being pushed back to February 14, 2015. Happy kinky Valentine’s Day everyone.
Reunited and it feels so good (AGAIN). For all you Friends fans pining for a reunion special or movie, here’s something to tide you over for what will possibly never happen. As much as I want a full-fledged reunion, I don’t think that will ever come to fruition.
Courteney Cox and Matthew Perry are reuniting once more. Since the iconic comedy, the two have appeared together to promote Jennifer Aniston’s co-hosting gig on The Ellen DeGeneres Show and also on Perry’s now-canceled NBC sitcom, Go On. Matthew is now returning the favor for his former TV wife and stopping by the fifth season of Cougar Town.
Go On creator Scott Silveri, who also worked on Friends, stated that “there were no trades” between his show and Cougar Town. “We just sent them some wine. I know they like that over there,” Silveri joked at the time, adding that “it was really fun to see the two of them together.”
