With just a couple of weeks left before Grease: Live premieres on FOX, the network is still announcing new cast members. On the heels of Boyz II Men participating comes news of another group heading to Rydell High.

The latest to join the highly-anticipated live musical production are DNCE. The Joe Jonas-led group will play Johnny Casino and the Gamblers. In the original 1978 film, Sha Na Na played the part and performed “Born To Hand Jive” during the film’s memorable sock hop.

In other DNCE-related news, the group recently premiered a new track “Pay My Rent.” The tune and the group are heavily featured in Diesel’s Spring/Summer 2016 ad campaign. Check it out below, along with “Born To Hand Jive” below

Ever wonder what chain of events led to Cruella de Vil’s obsession to turn dalmatians into fur coats? Wonder no more. Disney is developing an origin story centering around the fashionable villain. Much like what the studio did with Sleeping Beauty‘s Maleficent, people will discover how the iconic character came to be.

The 101 Dalmatians spin-off has no director as of yet, but Freaky Friday’s Andrew Gunn is set to produce. Glenn Close brought the animated character to life in the live-action 1996 hit film. Find out below which fiery actress is being eyed to portray Cruella this time around.

Trolls is the latest beloved toy brand to head to the silver screen. Dreamworks enlisted an all-star cast to voice the characters and bring them to life in the animated film.

Justin Timberlake and Anna Kendrick have been tapped to play the trolls named Branch and Princess Poppy respectively. With them on board, along with several others with singing backgrounds, I expect plenty of musical numbers in the film. The creative team developing the project have also worked on Shrek, Kung Fu Panda and Alvin and the Chipmunks.

Trolls is slated to hit theaters on November 4, 2016. Check out the cast below, which includes some YouTube personalities, comedians and TV stars.

Another original judge from Masterchef is leaving the kitchen. Joe Bastianich was the first to exit the cooking competition. A year later, Graham Elliot is now following suit after sharing his culinary knowledge on the FOX show for six years. The 38-year-old Chicago-based chef will finish his current run on MasterChef Junior.

“It has been an awesome experience to be part of the MasterChef family,” Elliot said in a statement. “I learned so much from the people I got to work with and it has been a true honor to share my love of cooking with the audiences who have allowed me into their homes over the last 6 years. I remain committed to using my passion for cooking as a way to entertain and teach people of all ages, and will be making some exciting announcements about the next steps of that journey in the new year.”

Christina Tosi was brought in to replace Bastianich. No word on who’ll step in to fill Elliot’s apron. Producers will most likely announce the new judge in time for Season 7 of Masterchef.

The last remaining OG judge and producer Gordon Ramsay released a statement regarding the latest exit. Read it below.

After several guest host stints, Margaret Cho joins the Fashion Police panel on a more regular basis. E! announced the 47-year-old comedian will officially begin on January 11, 2016. She’ll join Giuliana Rancic, Brad Goreski and Melissa River to critique the Golden Globes red carpet fashions.

Cho’s addition finally ends a year-long talent shuffle which saw Kathy Griffin in and out within seven episodes and long-time panelist Kelly Osbourne leaving. Melissa who’s produced the show since the beginning stepped in front of the camera when Griffin left.

Personally, I love this. Every time Cho has appeared, I’ve laughed out loud without fail. She’s snarky without being mean-spirited. Do you agree? Excited Margaret is joining full-time? Sound off below.

It’s the dawning of a new era for the Miss Universe pageant. After being in bed with Donald Trump for a dozen years, the organization and NBC cut ties with the 69-year-old mogul after his controversial remarks about immigrants. Personally, good riddance. I liked the telecast much better before The Donald was involved.

The Trump-less era begins this Sunday, December 20 on FOX when the 2015 Miss Universe competition takes place, live from Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas. Emmy Award winner Steve Harvey will host with Devious MaidsRoselyn Sanchez reporting backstage.

Rising star Charlie Puth has been tapped to serenade the global beauties. Seal and The Band Perry are also set to perform. Savvy move on the producers’ part to select musical acts from different genres.

Are you going to tune in? I definitely am and excited to see what other changes producers have up their sleeves. Weigh in below.

With NBC hit ratings gold with The Wiz Live! and Grease Live! airing on FOX in January, ABC must be feeling a little left out. Not anymore. The alphabet network has greenlit a musical version of Dirty Dancing. Unlike NBC and FOX’s offering though, the three-hour ABC event isn’t going the live route.

While no word on who’ll fill Patrick Swayze’s shoes in the musical, producers have found their Baby, originally played by Jennifer Grey. Find out which Scream Queen has been tapped to play the iconic role.
