A couple of days ago, Britney Spears’ dog Hannah tweeted (yup her pooch has a handle), “Mommy, are dogs allowed to gamble in vegas? Gonna cash all my bones for chips.” If that wasn’t enough of a hint to solidify her Las Vegas residency, her manager’s disclosure to Extra today will.

Larry Rudolph confirmed to the show that Brit is officially headed to Sin City. The 31-year-old singer now joins the likes of Shania Twain, Celine Dion and Cher to have her own permanent show on the Strip. Question is, where? Here’s what Rudolph told Extra.

“Extra” can exclusively confirm that Britney Spears is definitely heading to Las Vegas for a new show. Spears’ manager, Larry Rudolph, told “Extra” that the Sin City show is set, with a choice between two casinos, one of which is part of Caesars Entertainment Group. The deal will be finalized once Britney’s team decides on the casino. The pop star has been in negotiations for several months to set up shop in Las Vegas. A formal announcement is expected in the next few weeks.

Britney Spears is back in the studio today, tweeting that she was working on a new song and driving fans crazy. Of course it’s unclear whether or not by “boys” she means he kids, Sean Preston and Jayden James or her gay fan base, but chances are it’s for her little ones. That being said, she’s said before that her kids love to dance so I have a feeling it’ll be one we can all enjoy regardless.

Spears tweeted, “I’m at the studio recording a new song for my boys. They are going to freak out when they hear it. So excited!” She later added, “It’s a surprise so keep it shhhhh and don’t be grouchy. I’ll fill you all in soon ;)” Can’t wait!

With the mention of “boys,” I thought it’d be a good time to revisit her “Boys” music video directed by Dave Meyers. The video was nominated for at the 2003 MTV Video Music Awards for Best Video from a Film [Austin Powers], but lost to Eminem’s “Lose Yourself.” Re-live the video below!

The official remix for and Britney Spears‘ “Scream & Shout” song leaked over the weekend and we’ve got it for you to listen to below. The remixed song from producer Hit Boy features Lil Wayne, Waka Flocka Flame, and Diddy.

After the song leaked, Britney Spears tweeted, “I don’t think the world is ready” and then started to tease fans that she was on set working on the music video. “I’m on set shooting the #ScreamandShoutRemixVideo @iamwill @Hit_Boy @iamdiddy @WakaFlockaBSM @LilTunechi redefining remix.” joined in the conversation by adding, “@britneyspears I don’t think the clubs are ready, I don’t think the speakers are ready for the 808’s…I agree with you…#getREADY”. I will say that the remix is totally not what I expected, but definitely falls in line with the comeback of hip hop.

Give the remix a listen below and share your thoughts in the comments on if you like it or not. Can’t wait to see the music video for this!

Rumors have been circulating that Britney Spears and Jason Trawick were heading to splitsville and now it’s been made official. “Britney Spears and Jason Trawick have mutually agreed to end their one-year engagement,” her rep Jeff Raymond told People Magazine exclusively. “As two mature adults, they came to the difficult decision to go their separate ways while continuing to remain friends.”

The couple released a statement through People as well with Spears saying, “Jason and I have decided to call off our engagement. I’ll always adore him and we will remain great friends.” Trawick added, “As this chapter ends for us a new one begins. I love and cherish her and her boys and we will be close forever.”

Britney has also decided not to come back to The X Factor and is working on new music which is very exciting. In addition to that, there’s a new rumor going around that she’s considering a Las Vegas residency!

Should Simon Cowell Fire Britney Spears?

In: Donovan, TV Shows

By now I’m sure you’ve heard the rumors that Britney Spears is getting the boot from The X Factor. Reportedly, Simon Cowell is a little peeved he got “boring Britney” instead of “crazy Britney.” An insider also reports that the “Toxic” singer didn’t earn her $15 million salary. All they got were a sprinkling of “amazings” and a series of half-claps. DUH, what were they expecting? LOL.

I’m sure Cowell is breathing a sigh of relief that Spears didn’t sign on for two years. Supposedly, that was the point of contention during negotiations last year. Simon wanted her for two, but Britney only wanted one. Cowell certainly dodged a bullet there. The Brit judge definitely doesn’t want another lawsuit like the one filed by fired judge Cheryl Cole. She reportedly was given a pay or play contract for two seasons.

My Happy Homo Xmas Playlist

In: Music, Totally GAY!, Tyrell

We’re taking the day off today, so we decided to repost some of our favorite Christmas-themed posts from this and previous years.

Hey fellow homos. How’s everyone’s Christmas shopping getting along? Thankfully, Patrick and I completed a big chunk of our list yesterday afternoon. Getting out of the house to do a few holiday tasks definitely helped get me in the Christmas spirit, something I feel like I have been lacking in this year. If you are like me and need a little holiday pep, I’ve decided to compile a list of some of my favorite Christmas tracks to add to your playlist. Here we go. (Please note, this article is being written very tongue in cheek.) Enjoy!

Wham! – “Last Christmas”

This song is a must-have on your holiday homo playlist. It’s sure to be a crowd pleaser at any party and will make your spirits gay and bright! It doesn’t hurt that George Michael who’s on our team is the mastermind behind this Christmas tune that we all know and love. See more of my holiday favorites below.

The BIG night has finally arrived. Since I have to head out the second The X Factor reveals the results, I’m going to write my recap as it happens live. It’s real-time blogging ya’ll. Carly Rose is probably going to win this thing, but I’m keeping my fingers crossed that Fifth Harmony pulls an upset. Like they sang, “Anything Could Happen.” Without further delay, let’s get the ball rolling.

The action kicks off with Mario Lopez and Khloe Kardashian on the red carpet. Side note: Khloe’s green lace dress is really pretty. All of a sudden, the judges start arriving via SUVs. As they get out of their ride, either Khloe or Mario interview them. Note to Simon Cowell, this isn’t the Golden Globes or the Academy Awards. This is kinda ridiculous. Even Lopez feels like a glorified valet. Speaking of Cowell, Khloe continues her streak of shamelessly flirting with him. Commenting how she loves his hairy chest. LOL. Demi looks pretty in her metallic mini.

This week, a new episode of Homorazzi aired on OUTtv (Episode 9 to be exact) and in case you missed it, we’ve got the full episode for you to check out below. Since Nic (one of our usual panelists) was away vacationing in Hawaii (stay tuned for coverage on that), Blue from OUTtv join in as a special guest!

As usual, the panel started off by tackling some of the latest Gossip and the most heated discussion took place on the topic of Rihanna & Chris Brown seemingly back in a relationship. The conversation then transitioned to Britney Spears &‘s new “Scream & Shout” music video as well as comments on how she’s been doing on The X-Factor as a judge. Also discussed was Tegan & Sara‘s new “Closer” music video and we’d like to clarify that the Canadian indie rock duo are indeed both lesbians and twin sisters (despite some of the confusion discussed in the episode below – LOL).

For film & TV, the panel discuss two highly anticipated movies that include Lincoln & The Hobbit are discussed, while for TV they tackle The Walking Dead, Once Upon A Time, Gossip Girl, and Dexter.

In closing, they talk about the recent viral YouTube videos that started with “Gay Men Will Marry Your Girlfriends,” and a new gay British series worth checking out. Check out the episode below!
