Forbes Magazine has just revealed their “Celebrity 100” list for this year, revealing a new number one celebrity for 2012. The magazine looks at various factors when classifying the celebs, including: Wealth, TV/Radio ranking, Press ranking, Web ranking, and Social ranking.

The person who topped this list year is involved in many areas of the business and despite the image above, it’s not Justin Bieber nor is it Oprah Winfrey. I’m not surprised to see this person on the list, but I must say I’m a little surprised to see them at number one. Last year, Gaga topped the list with Oprah trailing behind in second. This year, the Top 10 list is quite different, but Oprah finds herself at number two once again.

Praise Jesus. The speculation, rumors, failed negotiations and all that drama is officially over. The worst kept secret over at FOX has finally been confirmed by the network at their Fall upfront presentation today. Britney Spears and Demi Lovato are officially joining the second season of “The X Factor“. The two singers fill the vacated judging seats left by Paula Abdul and Nicole Scherzinger. Now, we can shift our speculation on the male and female who’ll take over hosting duties.

“Britney is an unparalleled superstar. Her success in the music industry over the last two decades makes her a perfect fit for ‘The X Factor’ judging panel,” Mike Darnell, FOX’s President of Alternative Entertainment, says in a statement. “Demi has mass appeal and is beloved by her fans around the world.”

Given that the first season failed to live up to Simon Cowell’s prediction, obviously, he wanted to clean house for Season 2. Based on his replacements, he thinks appealing to a younger demographic is the way to go. If you combine Britney and Demi’s age which are 30 and 19 respectively, they equal to Paula’s age of 49-years-old. Poor Paula.

While I think Spears is a good choice for the slot, I’m not crazy about Lovato. But given Spears is costing Cowell a pretty penny ($15 million to be exact), he probably didn’t have much left in the budget for the second new judge. Ergo Demi. With an X Factor deal potentially close to being finalized, it’s the perfect time for Twister Dance to have Britney Spears star in their commercial. Yesterday, Spears tweeted, “Couldn’t be happier with the Twister Dance video shoot! It’s gonna be so hot…” And it looks that way for sure… In the still images that have been released thus far, Spears looks freaking incredible. I feel like she keeps getting better with age!

The Hasbro game prompts users to place their feet on LED colored spots that move around to the beat of the music. Recommended for one or two players, ages 8 and up. The game hits the shelves in Fall 2012 with a retail price of $34.99. The game will include a new remix of “Til The World Ends.”

“Dancing has been such an important part of my life since I was a little girl,” Spears said in a press release. “As soon as I saw the new Twister Dance game, I knew I wanted to be involved. I think kids will love rocking the spots and dancing to the music as much as my boys and I do. It’s a lot of fun!” Check out the first images from the commercial below.

Could it be? Say that it’s so! Though both Britney’s reps and FOX have yet to comment officially, E! Online is reporting that Britney Spears has reached a deal with the powers at The X Factor. Cue the gays rejoicing from coast to coast. This will be a huge step for both Britney and The X Factor after losing their two female judges after last year’s debut of the show in America. What is the final agreement price?

According to the latest reports, it looks like both sides settled on a whopping $15 Million which will make Spears the highest paid judge on reality TV beating out Jennifer Lopez who rakes in $12 Million for her work on FOX’s Idol. If you remember, FOX initially offered spears ten million for the gig. Her people countered with sixteen million and finally must have agreed on 15. It’s also looking like Britney may be showing up to work with fiance, Jason Trawick. Find out why below.

Season 7 of America’s Best Dance Crew is shaping up to be one of the best and I cannot wait. This year, nine brand new crews will be competing against Season 2 fan favorites Fanny Pak (pictured above) for the title. This is the first time in the show’s history that a crew is returning to compete and I couldn’t think of a better crew, especially for this season’s dubbed theme: Return of the Superstars.

“The only thing that’s going to be able to top last season is an incredible performance,” judge JC Chasez told MTV News recently. “That’s what we’re all waiting for, the next great performance. What is this next star going to do to raise the bar? That’s what we’re hoping to get out of this next season.”

Each episode will have a different theme, built around a popular celebrity artist. Dance crews will be challenged to push themselves to create astonishing performances inspired by the music and persona of the artist of the week. Those artists include Madonna, Britney Spears, Rihanna, Pitbull, David Guetta, Flo Rida and LMFAO, just to name a few. In anticipation of the Season 7 premiere, we’ve been given a sneak peek at the opening tribute number to the one and only Britney Spears featuring the track I Wanna Go. After watching this little teaser, I cannot wait for this season – especially the crew full of little kids. They better get it!

If I didn’t know any better, it appears filling the vacated judge seats on “The X Factor” is the job no one wants. Seriously, all the rumored names have dropped like flies. First there was Janet Jackson, but she bailed and then Stacy Ferguson aka Fergie also declined the offer. Both of which claimed it was the arduous amount of time they’d have to commit as the deciding factor. Now, what looked like a sure thing has stalled and most likely not happening.

Negotiations with Britney Spears are apparently dunzo. According to HollywoodLife.com, Britney joining the singing competition is very unlikely. The “Toxic” singer reportedly rejected their $10 million offer and was holding out for double that. Another sticking point was Brit wanted a clause for an out after Season 2, while producers were looking for a two year commitment.

Personally, I don’t know why Cowell would want to lock down Spears for two years without proving she’s worth the cash. I like Britney, but let’s face it, performing live isn’t her strongest suit- singing or speaking. Lip syncing is what she does best. If Britney took the job and received boos like Scherzinger did, I fear Spears would have a relapse and go cray cray again. So with her out, who’s reportedly being wooed?

Although there has been a lot of speculation, nothing has been confirmed regarding the possibility of Britney Spears joining Simon Cowell as one of the judges on The X Factor next season. Now, THR is reporting that they have “a well-placed source” that Brit’s fiance, agent Jason Trawick, is negotiating the contract and it could be signed as early as next week! If this all pans out, I will definitely be watching the show (religiously).

Britney Spears would definitely bring the star power to the panel, not to mention being a proven successful recording artist herself having sold 33 million albums the U.S. and counting. Spears is fascinating on and off the stage, so people would definitely be tuning in to see what she has to say. Being on The X Factor would certainly beat one of her last television projects, “Chaotic” with her ex, Kevin Federline. LOL. Times have certainly changed for the pop princess.

Two unreleased Britney Spears tracks have been leaked by producer Michelle Bell, according to BreatheHeavy.com. The songs were to be included on the “Original Doll” album in 2004, but the album (and songs) never got released. The songs are called “Peep Show” and “Money Love & Happiness“.

Michelle Bell has worked with artists that include Nas, Mary J. Blige, Jennifer Lopez, Girls Aloud and more. Bell released the songs saying that if she gets enough followers, she’ll release a few new tracks from Britney’s mysterious Original Doll album. Wouldn’t that be a treat?! She produced six tracks for the unheard album.
