On “The Hills“, Audrina Patridge was the sole brunette of the bunch. While Lauren, Heidi, Whitney, Stephanie, Lo and Kristen all sported their sun-kissed hair, Audrina showed off her sultry dark looks. She stood out in a sea of bleached blond girls. Now that her VH1 reality show “Audrina” has tanked, it seems like ceiling eyes wants to shake up her image and start anew.
During an in-store appearance at *gasp* Sears in Cerritos, California, Patridge debuted her new look. She was there to earn her keep as Bongo spokesperson. I’m not sure how I feel about her new choice in hair color, but it’s good to change it up every so often. Curious to see what Audrina looks like with lighter hair? Keep reading to check out her new look.
It’s a definite possibility. MTV’s hit “reality” (and I use that word loosely) show, “The Hills” has the potential to become a movie according to one of the stars. Audrina Patridge sat down with an on air interview with Ryan Seacrest and said that there original was plans for a movie, but everyone needed a break after the show ended:
“We were kind of all just so fed up with each other that we all needed a little break. We’ve all had our break. Maybe we’ll all come back together and do a movie.”
I should clarify that this is separate from Lauren Conrad’s “L.A. Candy” being made into a movie. This would be the actual cast from The Hills.

During her time on “The Hills“, Audrina Patridge earned the nickname “ceiling eyes” for her signature wayward looks during times she was speechless. Then when she competed on “Dancing With The Stars“, the reality star was often criticized as an “emotionless wonder“. But all these naysayers simply weren’t well-versed in the subtle nuances of Audrina’s many looks. New York Magazine has done an in-depth SLASH hilarious video guiding you through the ABCs of Audrina’s many facial expressions. Whether its a pursing of her lips, her open-mouth reactions or her flirty eyelash batting, there is more to Audrina that meets the eyes.
When I first saw this video last week, I knew I had to share it with you. Seeing as there is a new episode of “Audrina” on VH1 tonight, I thought today would be the perfect day. Watch the clip and see if you can decipher Audrina’s version of facial morse code during tonight’s show
This week, it’s a dream come true for Audrina as she’s invited to walk in the opening show of New York Fashion Week. Looking to make peace between Casey and Lynn, Audrina brings them along for an overdue Patridge-girl getaway. Unfortunately, the Big Apple turns out to be too small for Lynn and Casey’s issues and a fun girls dinner turns into a massive fight and tears. Draaaaaaaama
Tonight is the night we find out if Audrina Patridge can carry a reality show on her own without LC, Speidi, Justin Bobby and the rest of “The Hills” crew. After months of anticipation, “Audrina” finally debuts on VH1 tonight at 9pm. If you can’t wait that long, you can watch the Mark Burnett-produced show in its entirety below (US residents only).
“Audrina” follows the starlet as she navigates through her life as a celebrity, actress and model in the shark-infested waters that is Hollywood. Unlike her persona on “The Hills” which focused on her relationships with friends and her men, this show will also highlight intimate family moments and her business endeavors. She’s come a long way from answering the phones at SMASHBOX Studios. Hasn’t she?
Comparisons to “The Hills” will undoubtedly come, but after watching the first episode, I would compare it more to “Keeping Up With The Kardashians“. Audrina’s family which includes three younger siblings and her “expressive” mother are very Kardashian-esque. Audrina is the Kimmy K of this lot. Question remains, if Casey Patridge is more Khloe or Kourtney.
What we do know for certain is that Audrina’s mom, will most likely be the breakout star of the show. Especially if she gets wasted and allowed to truly speak her mind like she did when her daughter was eliminated from “Dancing With The Stars “. If you haven’t seen her drunken rant, you have to check it out.

When I say good, of course I mean “shameful guilty pleasure” good. So here in LA, I’ve been seeing giant billboards everywhere for VH1‘s newest reality show, “Audrina” which debuts tomorrow. The show stars Audrina Patridge and her family – brother & sisters, mom and dad. Of course Audrina got her big break as a friend of Heidi and LC on The Hills, and since then hasn’t done too shabby at all. Since then, she’s been in movies, television, and on Dancing with the Stars.
“Audrina does her first bikini, calendar shoot in sunny Palm Springs. Her parents, Mark and Lynn, meet her for dinner. Audrina and brother Marky go house hunting. Sparks fly as the entire Patridge family gather at the OC house for a family dinner.”
I finally just watched the trailer of the series and I have to say, it looks thoroughly entertaining. If you caught the TMZ interview with Audrina’s mom last year after Audrina was eliminated, you’ll see she’s a bit of a loose cannon. Well, in the preview, we see that, and we see that one of Audrina’s sisters (Casey Loza) doesn’t get along with the family all the time either. In fact, the father is the rock that holds the family together.
Are you ready for Honey 2? I didn’t even know this was happening. The first Honey starring Jessica Alba was released way back in 2003. This time around, Kat Graham will fill in the leading lady shoes and Patrick’s favorite, Audrina Patridge is also involved in the film. It hits theatres on May 10th.
After 17-year-old Maria Ramirez (Graham) has a brush with the law, she returns to her gritty life in the Bronx to try and rebuild herself. Her only drive is her dance talent and passion to prove herself. She finds refuge in the first place her passion for dance was ignited, the rec center where Honey Daniels taught classes. Living with Honey’s mom, she holds down a job to make ends meet and tries to stay on the path of the straight and narrow. When her killer dance moves catch the eye of Brandon (Randy Wayne), he invites her to come help him uplift a group of gifted, undisciplined dancers called the HD’s.
She also catches the eye of award winning dance crew 718. They try to lure her back into the group but she is trying hard to escape the life of a street dancer. Pouring her heart and soul into the HD’s, she brings them to compete on the show Dance Or Die going up against her nemesis, the 718. Just like Honey, Maria will triumph in discovering who she is through helping others. Sounds like it might be okay.

Turns out online speculation and rumors weren’t true. VH1 is going ahead and airing “Audrina” on the network. When Audrina Patridge was caught filming scenes for a webseries titled “Dream Maker“, people thought her Mark Burnett-produced reality show was DOA. I’m beyond ecstatic that it’s not and actually coming soon. After watching her mom go on a drunken rant about Audrina’s DWTS elimination and the “bitches” from “The Hills”, I’m stoked to see her family are a part of the cast of her new show. Bring on the cray cray drama.
In a press release, VH1 announced “Audrina” will premiere on the network, April 17 at 9pm EST. The stunning brunette is leaving the Hills and returning to her roots in Orange County to hang with her family, including her mom Lynn, father Mark, and three siblings which includes Casey whom we’ve seen on “The Hills”. Here’s what VH1′s Jeff Olde, said in his statement:
“We love that Audrina’s life plays out simultaneously on two levels. On one level, she is working hard to establish herself in the entertainment industry,” the statement continues. “But at the same time she has this amazingly real, supportive family in Orange County who keeps her grounded. Ultimately, this is the story of a young woman with dreams, goals and ambitions all put through the no-BS filter of her family.”
She’ll go from “Unwritten” to “Uncharted“. The Sara Bareilles track will serve as the show’s theme song. Now it all makes sense why Bareilles released a music video of “Uncharted” earlier this week.

Looks like LC won’t be MTV’s homecoming queen anytime soon. The network announced that they’re not going to pick up Lauren Conrad’s new reality show. Ouch! Cancelled even before seeing the light of day. Even though her comeback was generating positive buzz, MTV decided not to go ahead with the show after viewing the pilot.
“She did do a pilot. There were talks about whether we could somehow manage to put together a special based on that footage but that’s also a big question mark based on her interest in that and the finances. We love her! We would love her on our network!”- David Janollari
Even though “Jersey Shore” is scoring massive ratings for the network, insiders say MTV wants to move to more scripted programming. Please, as if “The Hills” wasn’t scripted. LOL. Having said that, I am little bummed that my girl, Lauren, won’t be taking her rightful place as the queen of MTV reality. Hopefully the MTV special featuring captured footage from her cancelled show makes it on air. Even if it doesn’t, Conrad won’t be shedding a tear. The mini-mogul is highly successful with her clothing line and career as an author. With a 5th book on the way and a movie in the works by her production company, Lauren certainly has her hands full.
