Arguably, The CW has some of the hottest guys on network television. Hell, that’s why I tune in most of the time ;) Without a doubt, Stephen Amell from Arrow is at the top of that list. With his chiseled body and handsome face, this man just oozes sex appeal. Between you and me, the Oliver McQueen actor is as stunning in person. I often bump into him at the gym. Sufficed to say, I always try to get the treadmill with the best view.
As the old saying goes, it takes one to know one. The 31-year-old was put through a test from the folks over at TV Guide. His task was to identify which ripped set of abs belonged to a CW stud. Not surprisingly, dude earned a perfect score. Someone’s apparently been studying his fellow network colleagues’ assets. Watch the video below. After that, check out how I ranked the five guys. It’s pretty obvious who my No. 1 pick is. Be sure to comment on whether you agree or disagree with my rankings.
After five seasons, the CW has decided to cancel their reprise of the hit show, 90210. The show hasn’t been doing so well with ratings so it shouldn’t come as a surprise. According to TV Line, this season alone slid from a million viewers and a 0.5 demo rating (with its opener) to, at last tally, under 600,000 viewers and a 0.3, shedding a significant chunk of its Carrie Diaries lead-in.
“The CW has had five great seasons with America’s favorite zip code, 90210,” president Mark Pedowitz said in a statement. He continued, “I’d like to thank the talented cast, producers, and crew for all their hard work and dedication to the series. We are very proud of the West Beverly High alumni.”
Looks like someone’s booking an airline ticket from Lima, Ohio to sunny Beverly Hills, California. An actor on Glee just booked a recurring role on the CW’s 90210. I wonder how Ryan Murphy feels about this teen show double dipping. Probably isn’t a fan, but given this person hasn’t appeared on the FOX show yet this season, he probably doesn’t have a say.
The actor in question will appear on CW’s flailing show (have you seen the ratings this season… OUCH) for multiple episodes on 90210‘s fifth season. He will play Campbell, “a charming and good-looking college student from a wealthy and privileged background.” Have any guesses on who? Find out below.

Do you have a television show you watch on a weekly basis but feel you should break up with? “The CW’s “90210” definitely falls in that category for me. It’s not the most riveting show, nor the guiltiest pleasure, but for some reason I still keep up with the gang from West Beverly High. Perhaps I feel some sort of ridiculous loyalty for the sheer fact I never missed an episode of the original. Whatever the reason, I need to stop cold turkey.
This time last year, the show shocked fans when they revealed Trevor Donovan (Teddy) was being knocked down to recurring guest star and would eventually be written off the show. His character left Beverly Hills to fight for gay rights in DC, though he did end up popping up in the season finale. When “90210″ returns for its fifth season (can you believe it’s been on the air that long), one of the series regular won’t be returning, but who?
Last time we saw the gang, Dixon was involved in a car accident. Adrianna was flying off to Nashville with Austin. Liam’s sketchy ex-girlfriend reappeared. Naomi declared her love for nerdy Max. Silver told Teddy she wants his gay sperm to father her unborn baby and Ivy was heading to Mexico to chase her recently deported boyfriend. Care to place any bets on who’s leaving the show?
After going international with my last Man Crush selection, I decided to stay local this time around. This week’s Man Crush comes courtesy of “90210“. Robert Hoffman joined the cast a few episodes ago as Caleb Logan- a surfing Catholic seminarian. Only in Beverly Hills would you find a hottie tackling gnarly waves in between studying to become a priest. The whole forbidden love affair with Annie (Shenae Grimes) is all very “Thorn Birds“.
The 31-year-old stud got his start in Hollywood as a dancer. His first film credit was appearing as a backup dancer in the atrocious “From Justin To Kelly“. Hoffman followed that up with more dancing roles in other films including “You Got Served”, “Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights” and “Coach Carter”. His first legit acting role came in 2006 where he appeared in “She’s The Man” with Amanda Bynes as her douchey boyfriend.
But by far, his biggest role to date was starring as the lead in “Step Up 2: The Streets“. He took over the dancing torch from Channing Tatum who played the lead in the first film. Hopefully his stint on “90210″ lasts a bit longer. I wouldn’t mind seeing him de-frocked. Speaking of which, check out a few shirtless pictures of Robert below. Enjoy.

If you watch the CW’s 9O21O, then you’ve noticed that these two have made their way into guest starring appearances in the last couple of episodes. With that, I thought it would be the perfect time to pair these two together for my weekly Who’d You Rather. But, the popular California zipcode isn’t the only tie these two share. They also both have a connection to Amanda Bynes. Curious? Let me explain.
Nick Zano became most famous starring alongside Amanda in the hit TV series What I Like About You. Amanda also played a part in quick starting the career of Robert Hoffman when he played alongside her in She’s The Man. You may recognize Nick more recently from his appearance on 2 Broke Girls while Robert just did a few episodes of Drop Dead Diva.
While Nick may be the more recognizable name, you’ve probably seen Robert Hoffman in many movies you’ve watched but haven’t put two and two together. Hoffman is also in Step Up 2: The Streets as well as You Got Served. His little performance of The Yes Dance also got him some YouTube fame. Check out the boys below and pick Who’d You Rather.

Just like her “90210” alter ego, Jessica Lowndes is in the midst of launching her music career in real life. Her debut EP dropped a few days ago on iTunes featuring her first single “I Wish I Was Gay” and follow-up “Nothing Like This“. The 23-year-old actress just released the music video for the break-up anthem. Based on the clip’s storyline, the best way to get over a relationship is to have rebound sex with some hot guy you meet at the club. Sounds like the remedy a lot of my friends use *wink*.
Directed by Tao Ruspoli (Olivia Wilde’s ex), Jessica is shown reminiscing about her past relationship and having a hard time moving on. Meanwhile, her friends are busy trying to “tart” her up for a night on the town. Eventually, Lowndes ends up at a club where she meets some John Mayer’esque looking guy to hook up with.
The video is cute and looks like an episode where “90210” heads off to NYC to hang out with the “Gossip Girl” crew. Love the instagram-ish effects during the flashback scenes. “Nothing Like This” is actually not a bad song. The chorus hook and beat are really catchy. Unfortunately, for me the verses don’t deliver and seem more suited for some Disney tween actress. Speaking of acting, considering Jessica is an actress, she comes off stiff during certain scenes. It’s like she only has one expression. I felt like I was watching her “90210″ character, Adrianna Tate-Duncan, at times during the music video. Watch the video below and see if you agree.

We’ve been watching Jessica Lowndes on the CW’s 9O21O for four seasons now. We’ve always known she can sing, it’s how her crazy character was introduced to us right from the get-go. However, the Vancouver-native actress has never really attempted to pursue music full time at all. I guess she wanted to keep the focus on her acting? But now, it looks like all the pieces are falling into place for her.
This Spring, Jessica revealed that she was working on a full length album in the UK however, no songs were released until this fall, the track Fool hit iTunes. The slower jam showcased Lowndes’ smooth vocals but really lacked a spark to separate her from the pack. This weekend, Jessica released a new single and video for her track I Wish I Was Gay.
The song rings out about how she wishes she was gay because “all these boys just treat her the same.” In the music video, Jessica invites her cheating boyfriend to a club where she gives him a little burlesque dance before revealing that she has proof he cheated proceeding to torture the lad. Check it out below.
