Sometimes it’s hard to live up to all the hype. Back in 2010, rising pop star Sky Ferreira was poised to be the next big thing. Several EPs and a debut album were released but none of them gathered much steam. Despite having a loyal following, the 21-year-old American singer hasn’t scored a crossover hit yet. Perhaps her latest can do the trick.

I Blame Myself” is the second single lifted off her debut Night Time, My Time. It’s been cited by several publications as being one of the best tracks off her album. Once again, Sky teams up with director Grant Signer for her latest visual. He’s previously worked with her on the last six videos. Their new collaboration exclusively premiered on SSENSE.COM. Check it out below.

“I had so much fun shooting this video in Compton because I got to work with director Grant Singer again,” said Sky Ferreira. “All the clothes in the video are from SSENSE and it was hard to pick what to wear since they have so many of my favorite designers.”

X-Men director Bryan Singer is in a bit of hot water. reports the 48-year-old is being accused of sexually abusing a male teenager in a federal lawsuit filed Wednesday in Hawaii. Singer is accused of forcibly sodomizing Michael Egan when he was 17. The alleged incident took place back in 1999 at a house in Encino.

Michael‘s lawyer Jeff Herman also claims that Bryan gave the teenager drugs and alcohol and flew him to Hawaii more than once in 1999. The defendant is seeking an unspecified amount in damages for the sexual assault he allegedly suffered.

“Hollywood has a problem with the sexual exploitation of children,” Herman said in a statement. “This is the first of many cases I will be filing to give these victims a voice and to expose the issue.”

Not surprisingly, Singer’s attorney, Marty Singer, is claiming his client is innocent. Here’s what he told to the Hollywood Reporter.

“The claims made against Bryan Singer are completely without merit,” said Marty Singer. “We are very confident that Bryan will be vindicated in this absurd and defamatory lawsuit.”

“It is obvious that this case was filed in an attempt to get publicity,” continued Singer’s lawyer, noting its timing in relation to the May opening of Singer’s next film, “X-Men: Days of Future Past.”

Mrs. Doubtfire Sequel Reportedly In The Works

In: Donovan, Movies

Mrs. Doubtfire ruled the box office in 1993. The beloved comedy, budgeted at only $25 million, earned over $441 million worldwide. It was the second-highest grossing film of that year, behind only Jurassic Park. Over twenty years later, FOX 2000 Pictures is developing a sequel. Best part is both Robin Williams and director Chris Columbus are reportedly reuniting for the project. Williams won a Golden Globe for his performance.

For those unfamiliar with the movie, it featured Williams dressing in drag to spend time with his kids. His ex-wife unknowingly hires him as their new housekeeper and nanny. Sally Field played his estranged wife, and Pierce Brosnan was her love interest. Also starring in the original were Matthew Lawrence, Mara Wilson and Harvey Fierstein. One of the funniest parts is when one of the kids accidentally walks in on Mrs. Doubtfire pissing standing up.

Before you get too excited, this isn’t the first time talk of a sequel has surfaced. Attempts were made in both 2001 and 2006 to bring back the lovable nanny but never took off due to problems with the script. Let’s hope Elf writer David Berenbaum who’s been tapped to pen the script has better luck. Check out the original trailer below.
