TLC proved they “Ain’t 2 Proud 2 Beg” earlier this week when they launched a Kickstarter campaign asking their fans to fund the recording of their final album. The remaining members of the girl group offered up dance lessons, a workout, access to a listening party and lots of signed paraphernalia to lure in donations.

“While major labels offer artists multimillion dollar recording and marketing budgets, they don’t often give artists complete control of their own music. It is ESSENTIAL that we create our final album completely on our own terms, without any restrictions, with YOU.” – TLC

As of right now, the girls have amassed over $110,000 in donations, almost reaching their goal of $150,000. With 28 days left in the campaign, they should have no problem meeting, if not, exceeding that number. About $5,000 came from Miss “Roar” herself.

Katy Perry, according to TMZ, shelled out money for the project. Who knew she was such a fan? Based on that amount, Perry either gets a onesie or a night with the girls for an epic slumber party. Hopefully, it’s the latter. Can you just imagine the Instagram selfies from that night of pillow talk?

Snow White and the Huntsman did boffo box office, generating almost $400 million worldwide. Naturally, the movie studio wanted to greenlight a sequel. Problem is Kristen Stewart who played the princess and her affair with the film’s director cast negative press upon the film.

Universal decided to forge ahead but put the focus on Chris Hemsworth’s character, The Huntsman, leaving Snow White to live her happily-ever-after. Find out below who’s joining Charlize Theron and Hemsworth in the film.

If the movie adaptation is remotely as racy as this music video, expect a titillating time.

The Weeknd just debuted the music video for “Earned It,” the lead cut off the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack. It could certainly give Beyonce’s “Partition” video a run for its money as the sexiest cabaret-set visual ever.

Women dressed in S&M-themed attire dance seductively for the Canadian crooner. One of said women is Dakota Johnson herself who plays Anastasia Steele in the erotic thriller. She’s tied up like a chandelier hanging from the ceiling.

Other artists featured on the soundtrack include Jessie Ware, Sia, Ellie Goulding, Annie Lennox and Beyonce. Check out The Weeknd’s video below. Fifty Shades of Grey hits theaters on February 13.

The nominees for the 26th annual GLAAD Media Awards have just been released. The event recognizes and honors media for their fair, accurate and inclusive representations of the LGBT community and the issues that affect their lives. Ceremonies will be held in L.A. on March 21 at the Beverly Hilton and in New York City on May 9 at the Waldorf Astoria New York to announce the winners.

“It’s been a remarkable year for equality, and nowhere is that more evident than in the visibility LGBT people have gained across media. This year’s nominees, including expanded categories in Outstanding Comedy and Drama Series, reflect the widening diversity of LGBT images and storylines that are closing the gap to full acceptance,” said GLAAD President & CEO Sarah Kate Ellis in a press release.

It truly has been a remarkable year, especially in television. Just 10 years ago in 2005, just eight comedies and 17 dramas were considered for the annual awards. This year, there are 52 comedy series and 83 dramas with regular LGBT characters. How To Get Away With Murder, The Fosters, Game of Thrones, Transparent, Looking and Glee were just a few that were singled out.

On the movie front, The Imitation Game, Pride & The Skeleton Twins earned nods. Sam Smith and Mary Lambert were just a couple acts honored in the music categories. Check out all the nominees below including ones in the journalism field.

At one point in every pop princess’ career, an homage to Madonna is definitely required. Miley Cyrus channels Madge during her True Blue era, specifically her “Open Your Heart” music video. All for her first promotional video for MAC Viva Glam Cosmetics.

The “Wrecking Ball” singer is the latest spokesperson for the brand joining the ranks of Nicki Minaj, Rihanna and Lady Gaga. Check out her clip below, along with Madonna’s original video for nostalgic sake.

Is it me or does it seem like New Kids On The Block are on tour more now than they were during their hey day? In recent years, they teamed up with Backstreet Boys for the NKOTBSB tour, and 98 Degrees and Boyz II Men for last year’s Package Tour. This summer, they head on the road with TLC and Nelly for what will undoubtedly be an awesome throwback party.

In other TLC-related news, the girl group reaches out to their fans to help fund their final album. They hope to raise $150,000 via their Kickstarter campaign. As of press time, they’ve received over $70,000 in pledges. If you’re interested in supporting them, they’re offering up meet-and-greets, photoshoot and other enticing opportunities.

Charli XCX enlists Rita Ora for a little girl power on a reworked version of “Doing It” featured on her Sucker album. The Madonna meets Mariah Carey-tinged 90s feel-good anthem is much better with both ladies on it. Naturally, for the accompanying visual the duo looked to an iconic 90s chick flick for inspiration.

The “Boom Clap” singer and Ora channel their inner Thelma & Louise for the Adam Powell-directed visual. While in the Californian desert, the two cause mayhem while wearing some very ‘interesting’ colorful outfits. At one point, a cowgirl-looking Charli is joined by a bunch of people for a busted-up YMCA-like dance. Check out all the randomness below.

Long-running reality shows rely on implementing new twists and stunt casting to keep things fresh. The Amazing Race is no different.

For Season 26, producers cast openly-gay Jonathan Knight of New Kids on the Block fame and his partner along with Olympic medalists Aly Dudek (short track speed skating) and Steven Langton (bobsledding) are in the hunt for the $1 million dollar prize.

Also for the first time ever, fives teams competing won’t have a preexisting relationship. It’s being touted as the most extreme blind date ever.

“Usually we have people who know each other really well. In this particular case, we have five blind dates and six regular dates,” said Bertram van Munster, Co-Creator and Executive Producer of THE AMAZING RACE. “Going on a blind date to a restaurant is one thing, but going on a blind date around the world is like rolling the dice in a big way,”

Both the preexisting and new couples will be tested right from the starting line as they navigate a muddy obstacle course before jetting off to Tokyo, Japan. The course will continue through Bangkok, Namibia, Monaco, and more, spanning five continents, eight countries and more than 35,000 miles.

There is also an opportunity throughout the race to win the all-new “Date Night” reward. This allows one lucky couple to enjoy a one-on-one romantic activity, such as a steamy evening at a hot springs resort in Nagano, Japan, or star-gazing at the Bavarian Public Observatory in Munich, Germany.
