It’s swimwear season soon for most of us in the Northern hemisphere. I can’t wait for those long hot Summer days just chilling . Naturally, it’s time to start shopping for some fashionable trunks for the pool and beach.
Marcuse Swimwear taps Steven Dehler to front their latest ad campaign. While Dehler looks sexy no matter what, I much prefer him with a short buzz cut as featured in my Model Behavior series. Oh well, I guess there’s just more to hang onto ;) Check out more pics snapped by Serge Lee below.
The decision for Britney Spears to cover “Tom’s Diner” is pure genius. Let’s be honest. It fits perfectly within her vocal wheelhouse. No one can sing-speak like the 33-year-old entertainer.
“Tom’s Diner” was initially released by Suzanne Vega in 1987 and became a Top 5 hit. It returned back to the charts and surprisingly the clubs in the 90s when DNA did a killer remix.
It appears Spears’ cover for Giorgio Moroder’s forthcoming album follows more in that vein. Her rendition is hypnotically haunting and robotic. In essence, quintessential Brit. Give it a spin below.
Punk’d is the feline species of reality shows. The Ashton Kutcher-created reality series has more lives than your neighborhood alley cat. Once again, it’s rising from the television graveyard.
The hidden camera show which pulled elaborate pranks on celebrities was an instant sensation when it premiered back in 2003. It ran for several years until 2007 before MTV canceled it. After a five-year hiatus, the network resurrected the series, but with Kutcher no longer hosting. He did, however, stay on as an executive producer. Despite the likes of Justin Bieber and Miley Cyrus taking turns hosting the revived series, the new incarnation only lasted for one season.
And then there were four. When Grey’s Anatomy first premiered back in 2005 on ABC, the medical drama featured nine series regulars. Isaiah Washington was the first to leave, after controversial comments. Shortly thereafter, T.R Knight followed and then Katherine Heigl and Sandra Oh. After Thursday night’s shocking development, another original bit the dust. If you’ve been watching this season, you probably have a good idea who. Find out below.
I first featured Pietro Boselli in my Model Behavior series back in 2013. Recently, the 26-year-old Italian stud became a viral sensation when a mechanical engineering student at University College London noticed his lecturer was a top fashion model. If Boselli was my professor, I’d gladly be a career student. He can teach me whatever he wants.
Charlie By Matthew Zink taps Boselli for a new campaign. Wisely, they’re capitalizing on his educational background using the hashtag #headmaster. Exactly what kind of head is he a master of ;) Pietro looks all kinds of juicy wearing a pair of tighty whities and black-rimmed glasses. WOOF!!!
In addition to being responsible for heating things up in the classroom, Boselli has also appeared in ads for Abercrombie & Fitch, Equinox Gym and more. Check out a few below.
Like most Real Housewives of Beverly Hills viewers, I was really rooting for Kim Richards to succeed. After a couple of solid seasons of sobriety, the 50-year-old reality star began to unravel on the show this year. After denying all season long that she had not fallen off the wagon, it became apparent Richards started drinking again. Recently, she was arrested for public intoxication and resisting arrest.
Dr. Phil snagged an exclusive interview with the RHOBH star after her arrest which airs next Tuesday. There were reports that Richards walked out during the sitdown and it appears those rumors were true. Kim does exactly that in the promo after feeling ambushed that an intervention is going on. The saddest part of the whole thing is watching her poor kids sitting on the sofa watching their mom unravel. Watch the clip below.
As if Tom Hardy alone wasn’t enough to give you tingly sensations down there, but paired up with an adorable dog. Mind, ovaries, etc… all blown.
The 37-year-old actor is the epitome of ruggedly handsome in his spread for Details magazine. Hardy shows off major scruff while posing shirtless, putting his tattoos and abs on display. It’s not your typical editorial spread, but I like it.
Check out some pics snapped by Greg Williams below along with quotes from the accompanying interview.
“Yeah, if I’m a douchebag, I’d rather be a douchebag despite the fact that I’m a celebrity. I don’t want to be seen, you know? I like the shadows. I like to go and do my thing and disappear. But when it’s like, ‘You are responsible for doing this,’ I’m like, ‘I think you might have the wrong person.’ I just happen to be part of the team. I may be fronting this particular endeavor, but I’m not worth looking at, for crying out loud. What the fuck does that have to do with the price of cabbages?! I’m not an ambassador, I don’t want to be on the front cover of the magazine. Not because I’m not grateful. I just don’t feel I belong there.”
Who doesn’t love Ace of Base? The Abba-like Swedish quartet released several hits during the 90s. They briefly resurrected a few years ago but with two younger girls replacing Linn and Jenny Berggren. Not surprisingly, it wasn’t a winning formula. This, however, might work out quite well.
A*Base is an Ace of Base tribute band, composed of four teens from Stockholm, formed by Ari Letennen & Martin Orrenbrink. Their first single featured the quartet taking on “Never Gonna Say I’m Sorry” which was a hit in Sweden for Ace of Base but not internationally. A*Base is upping their cover game by taking on the mammoth hit, “All That She Wants.” Already, this sounds better than anything the revised Ace of Base ever churned out.
Hopefully, the tribute band experiments with new material as well. I can see this quartet doing some damage globally. They’re very photogenic. ABBA ruled the 70s and Ace of Base dominated the 90s. We’re due for another Swedish quartet powerhouse to conquer the world. Give their covers a sample below.
