Typically, Netflix renews their original programming within a few weeks of its streaming debut. Sense8 was a bit of a slow burn, but by the season finale, I was completely hooked. All the sensates finally joined forces to kick some major ass and save one of their own. Naturally, I, like so many other fans, are hoping for a second season of the sexy sci-fi series.

When the Wachowskis sat down for the show’s Television Critics Association panel along with actors Jamie Clayton, Brian J. Smith, Daryl Hannah and Naveen Andrews, many were hopeful a second season renewal would be announced. Sadly, that never happened.

“We’re still awaiting word [about season two], and we’re cautiously optimistic, but it’s Netflix’s call,” – co-creator J. Michael Straczynski revealed on the panel.

Keeping it real. Not every new single from a RuPaul’s Drag Race alum is of Grammy-winning calibre, let alone worth listening to. Some of them are pure garbage. Manila Luzon, who was robbed on Drag Race and All-Stars, just dropped a new track that’s actually quite good.

Ice Cream” is a little Iggy Azalea-lite but lots of fun. The lyrics are full of sexual entendres and innuendos. The accompanying clip is equally as racy. From a human Neapolitan ice cream dish (Jardon Derrick, Montana Volby, Timothy Willy) to a banana split worth every calorie, the music video is jam-packed with eye-popping visuals. It even ends with Luzon being the recipient of whipped cream bukkake.

Jon Varak, Eddie Eduardo, Casey Everett, Landon Scott, Eric East, Chris Serrato, Joey “Little Roo” Hakim, Austin Watie, Andres Hunt, Jonny Manzanares, Chancelor Dayne, Dexter Mayfield, Chaz Knight, Alex Bullon, Danny Luna, Mackenzie Green all make appearances. Manila’s fellow Drag Race Heather Delta Work also makes a cameo. Check out the Brad Hammer-directed video below.

Seth Rogen, Joseph Gordon-Levitt and Anthony Mackie play lifelong friends in The Night Before. After years of getting together for Christmas Eve, they decide to end their annual tradition. For their swan song they search out for the ultimate Christmas party in New York City.

If you liked Knocked Up, Neighbors and This Is The End, this holiday comedy is for you. Rogen pretty much plays the same character as in those aforementioned films.

Jonathan Levine who directed Gordon-Levitt and Rogen in the cancer film 50/50 reunites with them but for a more fun frivolous romp. The Night Before jingles into theaters on November 25 just in time for the holiday season.

Mindy Kaling, Lizzy Caplan and Miley Cyrus also appear in the film. The latter makes a brief cameo to sing “Wrecking Ball” at a karaoke bar. Check out the red band trailer below.

The Weeknd is mostly known for his seductive slow jams. When I first heard “Can’t Feel My Face,” I was pleasantly surprised to hear him go a little up-tempo. I’m obsessed with this track.

The Max Martin-produced hit is currently in the No. 2 spot on the Billboard Hot 100. With a newly-released music video, it stands a good shot of hitting No. 1.

For the Grant Singer-directed visual, the Canadian crooner takes to the stage as a lounge singer and shows off some killer dance moves. Who knew The Weeknd could move like that? I had no idea. Supermodel Chanel Iman plays his love interest in the clip.

Check out the scorching vid below. It’s a hot one. Literally. The Weeknd goes up in flames when a patron throws a lighter his way. Katniss Everdeen has nothing on him ;)

Seeing Walter Savage nearly nude is nothing new. I’ve been following the American model on Instagram for some time now. The sexy stud brings his sexy assets to the pages of OUT magazine. He poses for an extremely sizzling spread for the glossy.

Photographer Greg Vaughan captures Savage in all his hairy glory. If you like your men with a bit of fur, you’ll appreciate what the Soul Artist Management stunner brings to the table as he models pieces from Lacoste, Dior Homme, Versace, Louis Vuitton and more.

little-mix-whitney-houston-cover

As required for any BBC Radio 1 Live Lounge visit, a cover of a current hit must be performed. Little Mix chose to take on Jason Derulo’s massive hit, “Want To Want Me.” And it didn’t disappoint.

The performance starts off with some wicked harmonies from the ladies before kicking into high gear with an unexpected mashup with Whitney Houston’s iconic “I Wanna Dance With Somebody.” Are you kidding? If that wasn’t enough, a gospel choir is thrown in the mix.

The British quartet also gave a killer acoustic performance of their current single “Black Magic.” Congrats go out to the girls for scoring their third UK chart-topper. Hopefully, the catchy pop track does well stateside as well. Check out both performances below. Their vocals are on point.

ed-sheeran-the-bastard-executioner

Ed Sheeran is about to get all medieval. The 24-year-old just landed his first major acting gig. He joining FX’s new series, The Bastard Executioner.

Hailing from Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter, the drama follows a 14th century knight played by True Blood star Stephen Moyer. Sheeran will play recurring character Sir Cormac, an “ambitious and deadly protégé of a high-ranking church elder.”

This isn’t the first time Ed has worked with Sutter. The “Thinking Out Loud” singer covered Foy Vance’s “Make It Rain” for Anarchy’s penultimate episode.

Sheeran recently appeared in an episode of NBC’s Undateable earlier this year. Fingers crossed, Ed doesn’t get bit by the acting bug too badly. I’d be crushed if he ignored his music career.
