angelina-jolie-malificent

It’s a bird…It’s a plane…It’s Superman. Correction, it’s actually Angelina Jolie looking gloriously evil as Malificent. In a new clip released by Disney, Malificent reveals she once had wings, expansive angelic black ones at that.

“I had wings once. And they were strong, but they were stolen from me.” – Maleficent

I can’t wait to learn the film’s revisionist take on exactly what in the sorceress’ life caused her to walk down a vengeful path. Watch Angelina swoop down in all her ferocious glory below. She’s far more intimidating than any other Disney villain to date. Maleficent is set for a May 30 release.

glee-100th-episode-songs

Glee‘s milestone 100th episode is so epic, Ryan Murphy and company split the show into two parts. The first episode airs tomorrow Tuesday, March 18 with the second one following the week after. Former series regulars including Dianna Agron, Heather Morris, Amber Riley, Harry Shum Jr and Mark Salling head back to McKinley High to bid New Directions adieu. Popular guests stars including Gwyneth Paltrow and Kristin Chenoweth have also been invited back with Chace Crawford thrown in for some new blood.

Three tracks from the two-parter have surfaced. Entertainment Weekly exclusively snagged their hands on Gwyneth Paltrow taking a spin on Pharrell Williams’ infectious hit, “Happy.” Heather Morris (Brittany) previously covered “Toxic” for the Britney Spears tribute episode. This time she’s joined by Naya Rivera (Santana) and Dianna Agron (Quinn). Last and certainly not least, we have Chris Colfer (Kurt) and Lea Michele (Rachel) once again singing “Defying Gravity,” but this time Amber Riley (Mercedes) makes it into a threesome. Sia Swings From The Chandeliers On New Track

In: Donovan, Music
sia-chandelier-audio

Over the past several years, with exception to a couple soundtrack contributions and popping up as a featured artist here and there, Sia has remained relatively in the background, writing hits for the likes of Britney Spears, Kylie Minogue, Celine Dion, Christina Aguilera, Beyonce and Rihanna to name a few. Speaking of the Riri, “Chandelier” sounds exactly like something the “Diamonds” singer would sing. It’s right in her wheelhouse. It has potential crossover hit written all over it. Sia was smart to keep this one to herself.

“I usually think, ‘Oh this would work for Rihanna,’ or ‘this would be a good one for [Britney] or Katy,’” Sia told Ryan Seacrest. “But this time I was like, ‘Uh oh, I think I just wrote a full-blown pop song for myself by accident!’”

“Chandelier
” is the first official single off the Aussie’s forthcoming sixth studio album. She co-wrote it with Jesse Shatkin and features production skills courtesy of Greg Kurstin. Her last full LP, We Are Born, dropped back in 2010. I’m glad Sia, the singer, is back and gracing us with her unique vocals. Give “Chandelier” a listen below.

2 Broke Girls Defends Lindsay Lohan

In: Celeb Gossip & News, Donovan, TV Shows
2-broke-girls

Contrary to an early report, Lindsay Lohan wasn’t a nightmare filming her 2 Broke Girls guest spot. According to a blogger who attended the taping, LiLo had troubles delivering her lines. “The 200 people who sat through that taping will know that Lindsay didn’t deserve to be on the show. They will know that every single person who had lines on the show was at least ten times better than Lindsay,” the blogger wrote.

Both Kat Dennings and Beth Behr took to their Twitter accounts to debunk the rumors and defend the 27-year-old Mean Girls actress.

Reportedly, producers were so happy with Lindsay’s performance, she has been invited back to reprise her role of Claire Guinness, a bride who asks Max and Caroline to create her wedding cake. Check out photos below of Lohan on the CBS sitcom’s set.
