The second song off The Hunger Games: Mockingjay, Part 1 soundtrack just dropped and once again it features Lorde, albeit in a minor capacity. Still, someone’s using their position as soundtrack curator to their benefit ;)

The “Royals” singer previously stated she’d be rounding up artists who we haven’t heard from in a while. That certainly doesn’t apply to R&B sensation Miguel but does with The Chemical Brothers. The British duo haven’t released any material since 2010. Welcome back!!!

Like “Yellow Flicker Beat,” “This Is Not A Game” is another gloomy dark track perfectly suited for the popular film franchise. As expected, Miguel’s vocals are absolutely sublime and fantastic. Lorde sprinkles a few “there it is…” throughout the song. Give it a listen below.

ABC Picks Up Tyra Banks’ New Talk Show The F.A.B.

In: Donovan, TV Shows

After a five year break from the competitive world of daytime, Tyra Banks is throwing her hat back in the proverbial ring. ABC announced it’s picking up the 40-year-old’s new show titled The F.A.B. For all those who watch ANTM, you know how much Tyra loves her acronyms. This one stands for The Fun and the Beautiful (insert eye roll).

“At 40, Tyra has never been more relevant than she is today,” said Lisa Hackner, executive vp, daytime & syndicated programming, ABC Entertainment Group in a statement, “and her massive and growing digital footprint exemplifies her connection with women of all ages.”

The F.A.B. will premiere in September 2015 anchored on ABC stations in major cities reaching about 23 percent of U.S. television homes. Unlike The Tyra Banks Show for which she won an Emmy, this time around she won’t be going solo. The chatfest involves a group of panelists.

As if the space wasn’t already crowded with The View, The Talk, The Real and Canada’s The Social. Find out below who’ll be sitting alongside the former Victoria’s Secret model.

Ryan Murphy Is A Scream Queen For FOX

In: Donovan, TV Shows

When Glee heads to the television graveyard next year, Ryan Murphy won’t necessarily be parting ways with FOX. Deadline reports that Ryan Murphy, Brad Falchuk, and Ian Brennan are bringing a new comedy-horror series to the network.

Murphy clearly has a hard-on for all things scary. The news comes on the heels of FX announcing a new American Horror Story companion series called American Crime Story.

Much like his popular spooky FX series, Scream Queens will be an anthology with each season taking place in different locations and different plots. The first season featuring two female leads is set to debut in Fall 2015 with 15 episodes. Read below Murphy explaining his new show’s concept and his excitement for his new project.

“We loved every element of the pitch for this show — the genre-bending concept, which blends true horror with big comedic moments; the diverse and unforgettable characters and reuniting the phenomenal creative team that delivered Glee,” FOX said, adding that the straight-to-series order is “a huge commitment and an expression of our faith in Ryan.”

It’s not exactly “Empire State Of Mind,” but it’s another love letter to the Big Apple. Should Jay Z and Alicia Keys be worried “Welcome To New York” might replace their composition as the city’s unofficial anthem?

Taylor Swift teased her second iTunes Countdown Single early Monday morning with the full version being available October 21. Like everything these days, with exception to Beyonce’s surprise album, the track has leaked ahead of its official release date.

Welcome To New York” keeps in line with Swift’s new pop sound. Co-written by OneRepublic frontman Ryan Tedder, Taylor sings about packing up and moving to New York to make her dreams come true. Like they say, if you can make there, you can make it anywhere. And she’s definitely made it.

“The first song on 1989 is a song called ‘Welcome to New York’ and I wanted to start the album with this song because New York has been an important landscape and location for the story of my life in the last couple of years,” Taylor says about her new song to Good Morning America

“You know, I dreamt about moving to New York. I obsessed over moving to New York and then I did it. The inspiration that I found in that city is kind of hard to describe and hard to compare to any other force of inspiration I’ve ever experienced in my life. It’s like an electric city and I approached moving there with such wide-eyed optimism and sort of saw it as a place of endless potential and possibilities. You can kind of hear that reflected in this music and in this first song especially. This is a song I did with Ryan Tedder called ‘Welcome to New York.’”

Listen below to T-Swizzle sing about the city’s vibrancy and all the things it has to offer.

HBO Debuts First Trailer For The Comeback Season 2

In: Donovan, TV Shows

Confession time. I never checked out The Comeback back when it first aired in 2005. When HBO announced it was resurrecting the series, I binge-watched the first season to catch up before the second season. I’m officially a fan of Valerie Cherish and can’t wait to see her new adventures.

The Comeback makes its comeback on November 9 on HBO with Lisa Kudrow, Dan Bucatinsky, Kellan Lutz and Malik Akerman all reprising their roles. The network unveiled the first official extended trailer for the cult favorite’s return and it looks as hilarious as ever, if not more. Check it out below.

Shia LaBeouf can often times come off as a douchey dick. Right? Admit it though, it’s kinda sexy and part of his appeal.

The 28-year-old actor poses for a black and white editorial in the latest issue of Interview magazine snapped by photographer Craig McDean. LaBeouf looks hot showing off his toned bod, often shirtless in the spread. My favorite is the next picture below where he’s putting on a pair of boots. WOOF!!!

Shia can currently be seen in theaters in Brad Pitt’s war flick, Fury. Check out more photos below.

Wisely, Clean Bandit decided to team up again with Jess Glynne. I love Glynne’s voice and have no doubt without her vocals on “Rather Be,” the track wouldn’t have become that global smash that it was. “Real Love” is off Clean Bandit’s reissue of their debut album New Eyes. Currently, the track is only slated for European release.

As opposed to their “Rather Be” video which featured a Japanese fan becoming delirious and experiencing hallucinations, the group went with a decidedly more romantic vibe for their new visual. It features various couples kissing outside the El Rey Theatre at of one of their concerts while the band performs inside.

Check out the feel-good vid below. Jack Patterson directed the clip.

Don’t know what to dress up as for Halloween yet? Perhaps you could as a vampire lawyer like Chris Pine did for Funny or Die’s latest sketch. Be forewarned though, it might take a lot of prep work.

Vampire Lawyer” isn’t the website’s funniest video ever. In fact, it only lasts for less than 40 seconds. The behind the scenes bloopers immediately following the clip is where the laughs are at. Watch the reel and skit below.
