When it comes to important issues, Ricky Martin often pens essays to express his thoughts. The 44-year-old Latin superstar came out as gay in a letter he shared on his website in 2010. Once again, he’s written an essay to express him emotions, mourning the victims of Sunday’s Orlando, Florida massacre.

“I am in pain, I am sad, I am angry,” he wrote in an essay titled “I Will Never Cease to Fight for Love.” In addition to expressing his feelings, he criticizes government for relaxed gun laws and urges everyone to “Break Your Silence” and inundate their congressman until changes happens. Read the powerful letter below which he wrote in both English and Spanish.

Prince William graces the July 2016 cover of Attitude magazine. This historic moment marks the first time any member of the royal family has appeared on the cover of any gay publication.

The cover photo was snapped at Kensington Palace by photographer Leigh Keily after Prince William sat in on a roundtable discussion about LGBT+ issues. Nine delegates explained how bullying had led to low self-esteem, suicide attempts, eating disorders, depression and drug addiction including, in one case, the death of a young man after an unintentional overdose.

“No one should be bullied for their sexuality or any other reason and no one should have to put up with the kind of hate that these young people have endured in their lives. The young gay, lesbian and transgender individuals I met through Attitude are truly brave to speak out and to give hope to people who are going through terrible bullying right now. Their sense of strength and optimism should give us all encouragement to stand up to bullying wherever we see it. What I would say to any young person reading this who’s being bullied for their sexuality: don’t put up with it – speak to a trusted adult, a friend, a teacher, Childline, Diana Award or some other service and get the help you need. You should be proud of the person you are and you have nothing to be ashamed of.” – HRH The Duke of Cambridge

Damn!!! Anderson Cooper was out for blood. He read Florida Attorney General Pam Bondi for filth.

From the onset, it was clear Cooper wasn’t going to hold back when calling out Bondi for her flip-flopping ways. Here’s the background. Back in 2014, Bondi argued in court filings that recognizing same-sex marriages performed in other states would “impose significant public harm” to the people of Florida.

Fast forward to the aftermath of the Orlando massacre and all of a sudden, Pam now claims to be a ‘champion’ of gay rights. “I saw you the other day saying that anyone who attacks the LGBT community—our LGBT community, you said—will be gone after to the full extent of the law,” Cooper said during his interview with Bondi live from Orlando.

What then ensued was a game of semantics on Bondi’s part, but Cooper was relentless. Check out the interview below to watch Anderson call her out on her ‘hypocrisy.’

In recent years, Richard Simmons has kept a relatively low profile. Naturally, this has resulted in several rumors.

Just earlier this year, speculation began that the fitness guru was being held hostage by his housekeeper. Simmons gave an audio interview in March 2016 on the Today Show, denying that rumor.

Earlier this month, the 67-year-old was hospitalized for hydration which sparked transition rumors. His representative Tom Estey denied those sensational headlines in an interview with PEOPLE last week.

“It’s not true,” Simmons’ rep Tom Estey tells PEOPLE in response to reports about the fitness guru. “He is not transitioning into a woman. He has decided to live quietly the last few years. He had knee surgery a few years ago and has a bum knee. He is still on Twitter and Facebook and works behind the scenes continuing to inspire and motivate people to lose weight. When he decides to come back, he will come back.”

Simmons has now decided to shoot down the tabloid reports himself that he is transitioning into a woman. He posted a statement on Facebook, addressing the rumors. Read it below.

Keke Palmer just earned major brownie points with me. The 22-year-old entertainer just revealed her latest music video was inspired by Aaliyah. Since I love the late great “Try Again” singer, naturally, Keke gets mad respect from me.

“One of my favorite videos was ‘4 Page Letter’ by Aaliyah so the vision for the video was a take on that vibe, mixed in with who I am as an artist,” explained Keke. “I love Aaliyah. To me she was a true artist in every sense of the word and I continue to just be inspired by her and let my heart guide me as always.”

Like Baby Girl’s “4 Page Letter” visual, Keke filmed her “Yellow Lights” clip in the forest, complete with some slinky choreography. It’s a bit budget, but I like the overall vibe and especially the old school flavor of the track. Check out Palmer’s new offering below.

Pete’s Dragon is the latest from Disney’s vault to get a reboot. The mouse studio just released the full official trailer and it looks like it’ll be a heartwarming affair.

The reimagining of the cherished family film, still tells the adventure of an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliott, who just so happens to be a dragon. Unlike the whimsical original 1977 film, though, the new version isn’t a musical. The CGI live action film takes on a decidedly more dramatic tone, which is pretty much the direction Disney has taken with their recent remakes.

Pete’s Dragon (2016) Synopsis

A reimagining of Disney’s cherished family film, “Pete’s Dragon” is the adventure of an orphaned boy named Pete and his best friend Elliott, who just so happens to be a dragon. “Pete’s Dragon” stars Bryce Dallas Howard, Oakes Fegley, Wes Bentley, Karl Urban, Oona Laurence and Oscar® winner Robert Redford. The film, which is directed by David Lower, is written by Lowery & Toby Halbrooks based on a story by Seton I. Miller and S.S. Field and produced by Jim Whitaker, p.g.a., with Barrie M. Osborne serving as executive producer.

For years, old wood carver Mr. Meacham (Robert Redford) has delighted local children with his tales of the fierce dragon that resides deep in the woods of the Pacific Northwest. To his daughter, Grace (Bryce Dallas Howard), who works as a forest ranger, these stories are little more than tall tales…until she meets Pete (Oakes Fegley). Pete is a mysterious 10-year-old with no family and no home who claims to live in the woods with a giant, green dragon named Elliott. And from Pete’s descriptions, Elliott seems remarkably similar to the dragon from Mr. Meacham’s stories. With the help of Natalie (Oona Laurence), an 11-year-old girl whose father Jack (Wes Bentley) owns the local lumber mill, Grace sets out to determine where Pete came from, where he belongs, and the truth about this dragon.

Pete’s Dragon flies into theaters on August 12. Check out the trailer below. I’m getting an E.T.-type feel-good vibe after watching the clip.

TV Land Renews Younger For A Fourth Season

In: Donovan, TV Shows

Younger finished its sophomore run just a couple of months ago, but TV Land has already ordered a fourth season. Not surprising, given the Darren Star series finished with double digit gains among all key demos versus the series’ season one average. The comedy certainly found its groove. It was much funnier and charming the second time around.

“The show is a force in and of itself, so it’s a no-brainer to renew it again,” says Keith Cox, Executive Vice President of Development and Original Programming for TV Land. “Critics and fans love it, and I know Darren and the entire cast and crew behind Younger will continue to deliver at the top of their game.”

The announcement comes just as the cast returns to the set to begin filming Season 3. Speaking of which, the network revealed Younger‘s third season will commence on Wednesday, Sept. 28 at 10/9c.

Do you watch the show? Who do you think Liza (Sutton Foster) will end up with? Josh (Nico Tortorella) or Charles (Peter Hermann)? Will Kelsey (Hillary Duff) find herself dating her dead fiance’s twin brother? Sound off below.

Meet The Big Brother Season 18 Cast

In: Donovan, TV Shows

Big Brother kicks off its 18th season next week with a three-hour premiere spanning two nights- two hours on Wednesday, June 22 and one hour on Thursday, June 23. This year’s group of houseguests will embark on a record 99 days inside the house. Yikes.

With only 12 names released so far, it’s obvious CBS is waiting til the premiere to reveal the other houseguests. There’s no way only a dozen people are competing for $500,000 given the marathon time inside the house.

From the looks of it, the remaining houseguests will be returning players. Based on the names of the cast revealed so far, the alums will most likely be related to the newbies. I expect Cody Calafiore and Vanessa Rousso to be included in the bunch. They don’t exactly have the most common surnames and the newbies sharing their names look remarkably similar. Check out the cast of Big Brother S18 below.
