New club location in the city’s downtown core now accepting memberships!
Hard Candy Fitness®, the global luxury fitness brand in partnership with Madonna and New Evolution Ventures (NeV), today announced the October 31st opening of Hard Candy Fitness Toronto located at 382 Yonge Street. The exquisite 42,000 sq. ft. facility is the brand’s first club in North America and the largest of all current Hard Candy Fitness gyms whose current locations include Rome, Sydney, Santiago, Mexico City, Moscow, St. Petersburg, Russia, and Berlin.
“We are very excited about the opening of Toronto’s new Hard Candy Fitness,” said Leonard Schlemm, chairman and co-owner, of Hard Candy Fitness Toronto. “The club is in one of the city’s most beautiful condominium towers in arguably the most vibrant neighborhood in Toronto.”
With the recent release of the Dieux Du Stade 2014 Calendar preview, I thought I would highlight one of the hotties from the shoot. This week’s Sports Stud is Olivier Giroud, a French footballer who plays for English club Arsenal in the Premier League and the French national team.
The 27-year old is known for his size (6’4″), physical style of play, his heading ability (hehe), his shot power, and his strength. This sexy Frenchie has shirtless on the cover of several magazines including, Tetu and Men’s Health. I’ve included a few of these covers below.
I’ve also included a video of when he and fellow teammate Mathieu Debuchy kiss on the field. You may recall that I included this video quite a while ago in a Sports Stud feature on Debuchy. In case you missed it, the video is also included below. Enjoy!
Not since my childhood have I wanted so badly to head to the zoo. If those attractions had these sexy studs on exhibit instead of captive animals, I would frequent them more often. Seriously, aren’t rugby players the best. They aren’t afraid to show off their hard bodies at a drop of a dime. Just look at the annual Dieux du Stade calendar and a recent testicular cancer awareness clip as evidence.
Paignton Zoo enlisted players from the Exeter Chiefs to front their new ad campaign. Justin Blanchet gets his stripes on as a zebra, while his brother Sam goes the cheetah route. Fetu’u Vainikolo is a graceful gazelle, but my favorite Matt Jess is fittingly enough, a mandrill. Dude can drill this man anytime ;) Photographer Phil Mingo captured the boys as their beastly alter egos. Check out a few pics below.
With NHL Hockey season underway, my mission this week was to find a hottie from the sport that I haven’t featured yet in a Sports Stud post. The difficult thing with hockey is that more often than not, they don’t have many pictures available – well, the kind that you want to see at least. That being said, I managed to select one that does: Paul Bissonnette.
This week’s stud is a Canadian professional ice hockey player and currently plays Left Wing with the Phoenix Coyotes. The 28-year old previously played for the Pittsburgh Penguins and is originally from Welland, Ontario. He tower’s at 6’3 and 230 lbs (at least in comparison to me… everyone is taller than I am). Due to his blunt and entertaining tweets, he is quite popular on Twitter (@BizNasty2point0), with almost half a million followers.
Recently, Bissonnette was given an automatic 10-game suspension for going after LA Kings forward Jordan Nolan after his hit on Rostislav Klesla during the pre-season game September 15. The suspension has since been reduced to three games and he had to pay $11,346.15 US instead of $37,820.51. Anyway, check out his photos below!
Because this writing style is all the rage.
Look, this informal lead sentence will prepare you for a meta-conversational article which is persuasive because we’re just two buddies kiki-ing, here. Nothing scary about that, right?
With that out of the way: I’m not a huge CrossFit zealot. I’m a skeptic by nature, who CrossFits because it works for me. I wanted to be fit and look good, now I am and I do. I don’t eat paleo, I compete casually, and I only talk about CrossFit when people ask me how I got it like that.
But it seems to have become ok for people who don’t do it to hate on it, and I’m not sure I understand why that is, except maybe people who haven’t got it like that tend to resent people who do, and maybe they know a few douchebags who give the whole community a bad name, and maybe they’re too intimidated to try it themselves.
Earlier today I wrote about a rugby team that let it all hang out to show people how to check their balls for testicular cancer. Well, it seems that rugby players just can’t keep their clothes on because I’ve got another video for you to check out involving naked rugby players.
The following video is a behind-the-scenes look at a calendar photo shoot by The Netherlands only gay rugby team: The Lowlanders. The Amsterdam guys are raising money so that they can attend the Bingham Cup 2014 in Sydney, Australia. Check out the fun (and sexy) video below!
As you probably know, it’s important to check your balls regularly for signs of testicular cancer. This rugby team is helping to raise awareness by participating in a campaign called “Balls To Cancer“… and showing exactly how you check your balls.
In the following video, The Wolverines rugby team tear of their towels and literally show you how to check you balls. Covering their penises, their balls are fully exposed as they look for any swelling or redness. The entire team is quite “ballsy” in doing this, but I commend them on it because it’s for a good cause.
Enjoy the video below and check your balls today!
With the 44th Artistic Gymnastics World Championships taking place this week in Antwerp, Belgium, I figured it would make sense to put the spotlight on one of the many handsome and chiseled competitors. Some of them we’ve already featured before, but one gymnast that hasn’t been highlighted in a Sports Stud is Russia’s David Belyavskiy. That being said, he was listed in our 15 Hottest Male Gymnasts at the 2012 Summer Olympics.
Earlier this week in qualifications, David Belyavskiy had a bit of trouble on his first two apparatuses, the Parallel Bars and the Horizontal Bar, but then stepped things up on the Floor and Pommel Horse. He was able to secure a 14th overall placing to solidify his spot in the finals which are taking place this weekend. Belyavskiy is the 2013 European All-around champion.
Check out some of his photos below as well as some of the videos from the competition earlier this week. Enjoy!
