How do you celebrate turning 21-years-old? Showing off your body transformation for a national fitness magazine of course. Justin Beiber shows Men’s Health readers he’s no longer that scrawny teenage pop singer anymore.
In the cover story titled “The Reinvention of Justin Bieber,” the “Boyfriend” singer reflects on the public growing pains he’s experienced the past few years that have tarnished his image. It’s good to see him addressing his past conduct and mistakes.
“I had to grow up so quick. And it was almost like I grew up for the public but I didn’t necessarily grow up. There were things I had to do, as far as the way I had to make relationships, and conversation, but as far as actually growing up, there were a lot of things I missed out on.” – Bieber on growing up in the public eye
Along with getting introspective, the Biebs shares his workout routine with the publication’s readers. He also reveals his bromance crush on Ben Affleck. Who knew?
I have to say his team is doing an outstanding job trying to rehab his image. From his upcoming Comedy Central Roast to his mea culpa on the Ellen DeGeneres show, Justin is definitely on the right path to redemption. Check out more pics snapped by Peter Hapak below, along with more quotes.
For these week’s Sport Stud, we’re featuring an Italian footballer / soccer player named Marco Borriello. He plays as a striker for Genoa and is known for his eye for the goal and his ability in the air. He has played for several other clubs including Milan, Roma, and West Ham United to name a few.
The left-footed hottie is 32-years old and was born and raised in Naples, Italy. He is sponsored by Nike and I’ve included the video of a commercial that he did with them. He has some hot tattoos and has done some sexy photo shoots in the past and I’ve also included some shots from those as well. Enjoy!
Malcolm Ingram, best known for his award-winning work in Small Town Gay Bar, is back with another documentary. The Canadian indie director, this time, puts the spotlight on the wide world of sports.
The documentary, Out To Win, features a collection of high-profile LGBT athletes- some who have come out during their career and others after. It’ll also chronicle the history of LGBT individuals in professional sports and showcase aspiring LGBT athletes from around the world.
Based on the trailer, Jason Collins, Martina Navratilova, Brittney Griner, Billie Jean King and Billy Bean are some of the athletes taking part in the project. Out To Win premieres at the SXSW Festival next month in Austin. Check out the recently-released teaser trailer below.
For this week’s Sports Stud I’ve chosen an incredibly sexy French decathlete named Romain Barras. He represented France at the 2004 Summer Olympics and came in thirteenth place overall in the decathlon. In 2010, he came first overall for the decathlon at the European Championships in Barcelona, Spain.
Barras modelled for a French underwear company called Athena where he and some other athletes stripped down to nothing. He’s also posed nude for a calendar for charity as well. Apparently Barras loves his gay fans and was actually once featured on the cover of Tetu Magazine, France’s most popular gay magazine. I’ve included pictures and videos from these campaigns below.
For this week’s Sports Stud, we are featuring the sexy Anton Hysen. Although we’ve talked about the openly gay soccer player on Homorazzi in the past, we’ve yet to officially feature him as a Sports Stud… until now.
Hysen is an English born, Swedish soccer player who plays in the Swedish Football Division 2 for Torslanda IK, as a defender. He came out to the Swedish football magazine Offside in March 2011. He also competed in the seventh season of a reality dance competition show called Let’s Dance and won. He became the first openly gay person to win this competition.
The 24-year-old is quite active on Instagram and his pictures are pretty darn sexy. Check out some of my favorites below!
Although we’ve written about him on Homorazzi a few times, we’ve never actually featured New Zealand Olympic Speed Skater Blake Skjellerup as a Sports Stud until now. Back in 2010, he came out after the 2010 Winter Olympic Games and has been preparing for the 2014 Winter Olympic Games in Sochi since. In Vancouver, he had placed 16th in the 1000-meter.
According to OutSports.com, earlier this week Skjellerup unfortunately fell short of qualifying for the 2014 Olympic Games by one spot. The handsome athlete was set to be the first openly gay male athlete in history to compete in the Winter Olympics. This was especially poingnant given Russia’s views towards gays and lesbians. As of now, there will be no publicly out male athletes competing in Sochi. That being said, because Skjellerup placed 33rd in rankings for the 500-meter, he’s the first alternate for the games. Therefore, if any of the nations that have qualified decide not to send an athlete to the games, Skjellerup will get to go. For the 1000-meter, he is said to be the fifth or sixth alternate.
Earlier this month, I interviewed Skjellerup because we had chosed to featured him as the Masc’d Man of the Month at my skincare & grooming store/webstore, MASC. In the interview (which you can read here), he talked about his training routine, in addition to what he uses in his daily skincare & grooming routine. Check out his sexy photos below. Fingers crossed we get to see him compete in the 2014 Winter Olympic Games In Sochi!
For this week’s Sports Stud, I’ve chosen to highlight a Winter Olympic Hottie that we surprisingly haven’t featured yet… the handsome Steve Nyman.
Nyman is a 31-year old World Cup alpine ski racer on the U.S. Team. He used to be a slalom skier, but now competes mainly in downhill, super G, and combined. Nyman competed in the 2006 Winter Olympics in Nagano, as well as the 2010 Winter Olympics in Vancouver where he came in 20th in men’s downhill. The 6’4 Park City, Utah resident
Nyman is looking to compete in the 2014 Winter Olympics in Socci this February. Check out his sexy photos below and watch for him at the games!
Believe it or not, Joe Manganiello wasn’t always the hunky piece of man meat that he is today. Before he became a buff werewolf, he was a scrawny teen like most of us. The 36-year-old actor shared a childhood picture to promote his new book, Evolution: The Cutting Edge Guide to Breaking Down Mental Walls and Building the Body You’ve Always Wanted. Wow that’s a mouthful.
In Evolution, Manganiello shares his lifetime of experience and research in terms of diet, cardio and anatomy. Featuring black-and-white photographs throughout, and Manganiello’s step-by-step workout routine that combines weights, intense cardio and a high protein diet, this book reveals exactly “how to get the body of one of Hollywood’s hottest stars. Promising to turn any Average Joe into a Joe Manganiello!” I hope there’s a money back guarantee ;)
In addition to sharing his workout tips, Manganiello reveals he had an alcohol addiction during his 20s. Evolution is now available on Amazon and other outlets. Joe’s Sabotage co-star and childhood idol, Arnold Schwarzenegger, wrote the forward to his book. Check out promo pics and videos below.
