Sports Stud: Julian Edelman

In: Patrick, Sports & Health, Totally GAY!

For this week’s Sports Stud, we have sexy NFL player, Julian Edelman from the New England Patriots. Although we haven’t yet featured him in a Sports Stud post until now, we did mention him back in 2011 when he and some other hot NFL players were featured in an episode of America’s Next Top Model. Specifically, Rich (who wrote the post) said, “Oooh… and then a bunch of NFL beefcakes arrives. Hello Julian Edelman!”

Julian Edelman is a wide receiver and punt returner for the New England Patriots. He was drafted in the the 2009 NFL Draft and previously played college football for Kent State and the College of San Mateo as a quarterback. Last year in 2013 he had his first 1,000 yard season which certainly boosted his popularity. After last season, he became a free agent but then in March of this year (2014) he was resigned by The Patriots on a 4-year deal for $17 million.

Check out his sexy pictures and videos below!

Sports Stud: Aldo Montano

For this week’s Sports Stud I’ve decided to highlight an athlete from a sport we haven’t featured all that much, if at all: fenching. Aldo Montano is an Italian fencer and a four-time Olympic medalist. He is 35-years old and fenching has played a big role in his family. Both is father and his grandfather competed in the Olympics for fencing.

Aside from his athletic accomplishments, Montano is also incredibly handsome and has done quite a bit of modelling, including underwear modelling. I’ve included an assortment of some of his sexiest pictures below. He looks hot with short or long hair and has some nice tattoos as well.

Sports Stud: Heath Pearce

For this week’s Sports Stud, I’ve chosen to feature MLS soccer player Heath Pearce who currently played for Montreal Impact. He’s played four team in the past five years. Prior to playing for Montreal Impact, he used to play for the New York Red Bulls. He suffered a hip injury just as his contract expired but Montreal believed in his ability to come back from an injury and has been playing with them since.

Aside from his playing ability, Pearce is also known for his sense of style and has been featured by Gilt.com for his fashion sense. I’ve included a video below from the photo shoot. As you go through his photos, you’ll notice that he looks good no matter what look he decides to go for. From long hair to a shaved head, clean shaven to having a beard. He can really pull of anything.

Check him out in all of his sexiness in the photos and videos below.

Sports Stud: André Schürrle

For this week’s Sports Stud, I’ve chosen to feature 23-year old André Schürrle. He is a German soccer player, who plays as a forward or winger for Premier League club Chelsea as well as for the German national team. The scruffy soccer stud signed with Chelsea back in 2013 and has played for them ever since.

He has been a full international for Germany since 2010. He was a member of the German squads which reached the semi-finals at UEFA Euro 2012 and won the 2014 FIFA World Cup. During extra-time in the 2014 FIFA World Cup Final, he provided the cross for Mario Götze‘s (who has also been featured as a Sports Stud) winning goal against Argentina.

Check out his handsome photos below, as well as a video of his Top 5 Best Goals and a shirtless video of his Ice Bucket Challenge. Enjoy!

UK soccer players want to change the game. They want to kick homophobia out of the locker room and the sport. The annual anti-homophobia initiative RainbowLaces is back and promises to be bigger than ever.

Stonewall teamed up with Paddy Power, Arsenal, The Gay Football Supporters Network and loads more to send Rainbow Laces to every professional football player and club in Britain. They hope players will wear their laces during the weekend of 13/14 September and use the hashtag #RainbowLaces to show their support.

Olivier Giroud, Theo Walcott, Mikel Arteta, Santi Cazorla and Alex Oxlade-Chamberla appear in the initiative’s ad. One of them even goes shirtless to deliver the important message. Check it out below.

Over the weekend, Michael Sam failed to make the St. Louis Rams final 53-man roster. Like many, I was hoping the 24-year-old would defy the odds and make the cut. Though he had more sacks than Ethan Westrbooks who made the team, Sam mostly played against second and third-stringers during preseason. The fat lady hasn’t sung just yet.

Sports Stud: Sandor Earl

For this week’s Sports Stud, we’re going down under to feature an Australian underwear model and professional rugby league player named Sandor Earl. The 24-year-old last played for the Canberra Raiders in the NRL.

He has modelled for Teamm8 underwear, Cocksox underwear, Gods of Football, and more and I’ve included some of these photos and videos in this post. Sandor is of Hungarian, Maori and English descent. He currently lives in Thailand with his girlfriend (lucky lady!) and owns a restaurant/smoothie bar called Muscle Bar.

From what I gather on Twitter and Instagram, he’s been training a lot in CrossFit among other things and his body is looking amazing. If I make it to Phucket, Thailand any time soon, I’m definitely going to his juice bar and hitting up Unit 27, the CrossFit gym he goes to. Check out his photos and videos below!

While providing an update about Michael Sam’s quest to make the St. Louis Rams’ final roster, ESPN reporter Josina Anderson discussed the showering habits of the NFL’s first openly gay player. She claimed that a “defensive player told me that ‘Sam is respecting our space’ and that, from his perspective, he seems to think that Michael Sam is waiting to take a shower, as not to make his teammates feel uncomfortable.”

Naturally, the coverage drew plenty of criticism. Rightfully so. It was quite tacky and in poor taste. Fellow teammate Chris Long had the perfect response. “Dear ESPN, Everyone but you is over it,” he tweeted.

Initially, ESPN stood by their reporting, “In response to recent questions about Sam fitting in with the team, multiple Rams brought up the shower topic and we relayed that information as part of our reporting.” Today, they’ve had a change of heart and issued an apology. Read it below and watch the controversial clip after that.

“ESPN regrets the manner in which we presented our report. Clearly yesterday we collectively failed to meet the standards we have set in reporting on LGBT-related topics in sports.”
