When some companies launch a campaign aimed towards the LGBT community, it sometimes feels obligatory and inauthentic. That’s not that case with AllState’s Out Holding Hands campaign.

“We believe everyone should be treated with respect and without judgment no matter who they love,” AllState

The heartwarming short animated film features a young man born with one large hand, struggling to fit in with society. He finally finds a happy ending. Definitely check out the clip below. It’ll one hundred percent move you. The heartfelt ad features an original song, “Safe In My Hands” by openly-gay artist Eli Lieb.

The Stenmark twins hail from Australia but they’re clearly team Italy for a new World Cup editorial. I guess supporting another nation is only natural given the spread appears in Vanity Fair Italia. Jordan and Zac are joined by Kristina Romanova for a Stewart Shining-photographed shoot. Check out the twins sporting their chiseled torsos in several photos below. I give them a yellow card for being too damn hot ;)

Ryan Murphy’s The Normal Heart gave a glimpse at the early days of the HIV/AIDS epidemic in New York City during the 80s. Award-winning Test shifts the focuses to San Francisco during the same era. Writer-director Chris Mason Johnson chronicles a gay romance between two dancers as the threat of the virus looms in the background. The film hit select theaters in New York and Los Angeles this past weekend. Check out the trailer below.

Official Synopsis

Frankie is the newest, skinniest and most mocked member of an up-and-coming modern dance company in San Francisco. The year is 1985. As six muscular male dancers tumble their way through athletic choreography, Frankie stands on the sidelines, mirroring the movement and looking a little weak. The choreographer stops the music and yells at Frankie to “dance like a man!” On the sidelines, Todd watches. Todd is an established dancer in the same company and the bad boy to Frankie’s innocent. They’re friends – opposites attract.

For Frankie, the city offers no relief from the bullying at work: a newspaper headline asks “Should Gays Be Quarantined?” while fresh graffiti screams “AIDS Faggot Die!” Frankie turns away and, with his bright yellow Walkman clipped to his belt, retreats into a music-filled trance.

When one of the male dancers is injured Frankie must perform in his place. It’s the classic test of skill and character, and Todd helps Frankie prepare. Outside of work, as Frankie and Todd’s friendship deepens, they each face a different kind of test: the newly-named disease is spreading fast and no one seems to know anything about it, except who it targets. Together the friends navigate a world full of risk that is also, now and then, full of hope.

Sports Stud: Nacer Chadli

In: Patrick, Sports & Health, Totally GAY!

With the 2014 FIFA World Cup happening, it makes perfect sense to feature one of the countless hotties competing for this week’s Sports Stud. Needless to say there are many of these soccer players that I’ve already featured and many that are yet to come, but for today, the spotlight is on 24-year old Nace Chadli of Belgium.

Chadli plays for Tottenham Hotspur and the Belgium national team as a winger. He can play as an attacking midfielder a winger on either side and has a decent shot as well (as you’ll see in the video compilation below). Outside of his playing ability, he’s also incredibly handsome and has a very chiseled body that has opened the door to some underwear modelling. You can check out several of these sexy photos as well as a couple videos below.

NFL’s first openly-gay football player, Michael Sam, continues to make history. The St. Louis Rams have officially signed their draft pick. The organization has reportedly signed Sam for a four-year contract worth an estimated $2.65 million with $46,000 guaranteed. Not too shabby.

The Rams were in a giving mood. They signed all 11 members selected during the Draft. Also joining the rookie class with Sam are OT Greg Robinson, DT Aaron Donald, CB Lamarcus Joyner, RB Tre Mason, SS Mo Alexander, CB E.J. Gaines, QB Garrett Gilbert, OT Mitchell Van Dyk, FS C.B. Bryant, and C Demetrius Rhaney. Check out a photo tweeted by Michael with his fellow rookies below. Congrats to all of them.

At last Sunday’s Tony Awards ceremony, Neil Patrick Harris picked up his first Tony for his show-stopping performance in Hedwig and the Angry Inch. The Broadway production also won Best Revival of a Musical, Best Performance By A Featured Actress In A Musical (Lena Hall) and Best Lighting.

With the musical doing boffo business, the originally planned limited run has been extended. Sadly, Harris isn’t sticking around for it. Find out who’s stepping into his fishnets below.

Professional soccer players Jeremy Walker and Andrew Redmayne previously demonstrated their great ball control for Funky Trunks. The duo are back for another sexy promo for the Aussie brand’s World Cup-themed clip.

This time, however, all the action takes place in the pool. YAY!!! That’s one way to cool down from World Cup fever. Diver Grant Nel also makes an appearance in the clip. If you’re wondering who the hot lifeguard is (photo above). His name is Zac Charlton. Dude can give me mouth-to-mouth anytime ;) Check out the video below.

Hallmark Creates Gay Father’s Day E-Card

In: Donovan, Totally GAY!

The lesbians got an actual physical card for Mother’s Day. Hallmark, however, gives the gays just an E-Card for Father’s Day. I guess it’s at least something. #progress.

As part of the greeting card’s Pride section, an animated card featuring two dads was included recently. It’s the first time ever from Hallmark to offer a same-dad greeting card. Transgender artist Kylie Wu created the card as part of the series titled “Lover is Wherever” which portrays different romantic and affectionate situations with gay, lesbian, and seemingly trans couples in the forefront. Check out a couple below.

“I’m so proud to be the artist involved in making the first ever same-sex Hallmark eCard featuring two gay dads. And I’m proud of Hallmark for celebrating people’s differences! It doesn’t matter who’s in it, LOVE makes a family.” - Kylie Wu
