The Austrian stud that is Julian Schneyder is one of my favorite male models of the moment. The up-and-comer is building up his portfolio quite nicely. I can certainly see why he continually gets booked. He photographs like a dream.

Schneyder appears in the latest issue of DSection magazine. The striking black-and-white shoot takes place on the beach with Julian flashing his sexy mischievous smirk. What exactly is he thinking? WOOF!!! Check out more pics below shot by Philippe Vogelenzang.

American Eagle is the latest brand to jump on the real body bandwagon. Their new ad campaign features four men of different shapes and sizes including a body-positive style blogger, a self-proclaimed ‘normal guy’ and a professional underwear model.

Keeping in line with the message of self-love and being comfortable in your own skin, their new material is all unretouched and doesn’t feature any Photoshop post-editing work. Check out the clips below promoting the brand’s new collection of underwear for men, #AerieMAN.

Abercrombie & Fitch’s New Look Is Kinda Fetch

In: Donovan, Fashion

I can’t even remember the last time I stepped into an Abercrombie & Fitch store. Can you? Wisely, the brand decided to undergo a complete makeover.

Firstly, the notoriously douchebag CEO, Mike Jeffries, left his post. Then, the Ohio-based company scooped up menswear maestro, Aaron Levine, from Club Monaco to head up the men’s division. His first full collection for the label’s new look is out and it’s fantastic.

Levine does an excellent job of elevating A&F’s former look. It’s LL Bean meets J. Crew but younger and hipper. Even the model chosen for the lookbook is vastly different from all those clean-cut shirtless frat boys that dominated their old campaigns. Though, I will miss those homo-erotic visuals during the company’s heyday.

Check out photos below featuring the scruffy demi-god known as Alex Libby modelling Abercrombie’s new look. Is it wrong that I’m tempted to shop at their store once again? A few of the pieces I want in my closet.

I love a fun retro fashion spread, especially when it features one of my favorite male models.

Oliver Cheshire rocks short shorts and other beachwear numbers as he roller skates around Venice Beach while under the creative eye of photographer Doug Inglish. The 80s-inspired editorial is featured in the latest issue of GQ Style UK.

Watch a clip of Cheshire below, along with more photos from the shoot. If you like a good booty tan line, definitely proceed.

Apparently, the term ‘plus-size‘ doesn’t work for male models. At least, in the eyes of IMG Models. The international model management firm has decided to rebrand the term and create a new division called ‘brawn.’

“Brawn has a body positive message. Brawn is physical strength,” said Ivan Bart, president at IMG Models to “The body positive messaging and size diversity is something that’s relevant and something that continues to be on everybody’s mind. We have to extend the conversation for men,” he added.

Zach Miko is the agency’s first brawn model. At 6’6″ and a 40″ waist, he certainly fits the bill. He’s fronted ads for Target and guest starred on CBS’ Limitless and NBC’s Shades of Blue. With all the notoriety he’s received since IMG announced the news, he’ll become the male version of Ashley Graham in no time. She’s the curvy sensation who recently graced the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit issue.

Personally, I don’t mind the new term, but I’m sure some will hate it and probably cite it as being sexist towards women. Why are women still being called plus-size and men aren’t? Weigh in with your thoughts after checking out more pics of Miko below.
