Initially, Alan Ritchson auditioned for the role of Finnick which eventually went to Sam Claflin. A couple of months after not hearing from the casting director, he received an offer to play Gloss. If you’ve seen The Hunger Games: Catching Fire, much to his fans’ dismay, he’s barely featured. Even more disheartening is the fact producers didn’t utilize that ripped eight-pack of his. Luckily for us, Da Man had no problem exploiting his natural assets.
The 29-year-old former American Idol hopeful poses for a stylish and sizzling editorial in Da Man’s latest issue snapped by Mitchell Nguyen McCormack. Ritchson can next be seen in Michael Bay’s upcoming big budget Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles where he plays Raphael. Given that he’s a turtle, I’m pretty sure, once again, moviegoers will be deprived of his toned physique on the big screen. Better get your fill from the pictures below.
“I’d be lying if I say genetics don’t play some part of that, but at the same time, I think people take for granted how hard it is to achieve any kind of success. I do work really hard, I work out five days a week and I’m very disciplined about my regimen. I focus on cardio; it’s the foundation of my workout. The best of me is poured into that and the rest of it goes into resistance training. If anyone wants to get ripped, I recommend sprint training.”
For their previous ad campaign, Marcuse Swimwear tapped the Pletts twins to show off their merchandise. Normally, downsizing is a bad thing. Not in this case, however. The Aussie brand’s new face and body is as hot as the Australian summer. Might I suggest, Marcuse bring back the twins for a super-sized threesome shoot with their new find. I predict huge sales, or at the very least massive exposure.
Photographer Russell Fleming snaps Jackson in the brand’s revealing swimsuits. With hip flexors like that, he’s a natural to show off their low-rise styles. Check out Marcuse’s 2013-14 Summer ad campaign below. And if anyone knows Jackson’s last name, that would be greatly appreciated.
Stop the presses!!! For all you regular Homorazzi.com readers, you might be shocked that I’m back with a Model Behavior post. It’s been months since I last featured a model in my weekly series. Hope you enjoy the stud I picked for my return.
Domenique Melchior is a stunning Austrian model. The 6-foot-blond was discovered at the age of 17 when he entered a modeling competition. The 31-year-old model has fronted several major ad campaigns for Giorgio Armani, including being the face of the designer’s new Armani Code Sport Fragrance. Other high-profile gigs include Roberto Cavalli and Next Company and editorials for Allure, Elle Man Vietnam and Weiner magazine.
His sexier work include posing for famed photographer Bruce Weber and a couple of Cosmopolitan calendars. Given that he was a former professional soccer player, you can see where he gets his toned muscular body from. His mother agency is Wiener Models, but is also represented by Soul Artist Management (New York), Elite Stockholm and d’management group (Milan). Check out more photos of Domenique below.
Is it me or can Lady Gaga pass for Donatella Versace’s younger (and prettier) sister in the photo above? The “Applause” singer resembles the Italian fashion designer even more than Gina Gershon did in the campy Lifetime biopic, House of Versace. Though Gershon’s plumped-up lips were pretty bang on.
For the label’s Spring 2014 collection, Donatella handpicked Mother Monster to front the ad campaign. Photographers Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott snapped the 27-year-old singer wearing an elegant lilac gown while reclining on a dusty purple chaise. Girl is serving major GLA-MOOOOOR.
“I am honoured that my friend Lady Gaga is the face of our new Versace campaign,’ Donatella recently revealed to the Independent. ‘I wanted to capture her true beauty and spirit in images that are elegant and alluring. She is like family to me, the embodiment of the Versace DNA.”
I wonder if the fact Gaga included a track titled “Donatella” on her new album won her brownie points with Versace. The Gaga-featured ads will start appearing in magazines in January 2014 but we have a sneak peek for you today. Check it out below.
New York City based Soul Artist Management arguably has one of the hottest stable of male models around. Not surprisingly, Fucking Young (yup that’s a thing) enlisted photographer Daniel Clavero to snap a few of the agency’s brightest and most chiseled faces for an editorial, appropriately titled Soul Boys. Check out Humbert Clotet, Filip Hrivnak, Joey Kirchner (above), Scott Neslage, Sean Hargu and Tyler Maher show off their smiles and rock hard bodies in snug briefs below. It’s a perfect way to end the work week. Be sure to comment on which model you’d love to wake up in the morning with.
Austrian model Patrick Kafka has fronted big campaigns for Roberto Cavalli, Ralph Lauren and Gucci to name a few. His latest gig finds him on the cover of Rondo Exclusiv magazine’s November 2013 issue.
Photographer Stefan Armbruster snaps the 24-year-old stunner for the publication’s cover and inside editorial. Kafka previously snagged the cover back in 2009.
Stylist Felix Leblhuber picks a sharp selection of modern sportswear for Patrick to wear. Each look is finished with a stylish elegant timepiece. Check out several photos from the spread below.
Kmart and Joe Boxer show off their holiday spirit in this adorable clip. A sextet of dashing men sway their hips from side to side to the tune of “Jingle Bells.” Too bad they’re wearing too much clothing. While definitely dapper, some gratuitous skin would’ve been nice. I’m curious to know if their clanging testicles really do jingle all the way. Tis the season after all. Plus, inquiring minds want to know. Check out the clip below.
Fashionistas pay attention. This is definitely a must-see in the coming year. Unlike Lifetime’s campy Donatella biopic, House of Versace, you don’t need a tent or sleeping bag to watch this. Yves Saint Laurent is going to be all about haute couture, glamour and love.
Not only is the iconic designer much more classic than Versace’s rock and glam, but it’s filmed by the French. There’s no way they’re putting one of their most-heralded designers‘ name through the mud. Expect all class and style in this film.
The film chronicles Laurent’s early career and his ascension to the head of Christian Dior at the age of 21. His personal life is also highlighted, most notably his relationship with Pierre Bergé who became not only his lover but also his business partner. Pierre Niney and Guillaume Gallienne play Laurent and Bergé respectively. Also appearing in the film is Nikolai Kinski as a young Karl Lagerfeld.
Yves Saint Laurent opens on January 8, 2014. Check out the trailer below.
