Must be nice to frolic in Miami and get paid doing it. The tough lives that Kellan Lutz and Katrina Bowden lead. I almost feel sorry for them… NOT. The two star in Op’s Spring/Summer 2013 “Making Waves” ad campaign. They take over Sarah Hyland (Modern Family) and Ashley Tisdale (High School Musical) who fronted the brand’s campaign last year.
The 28-year-old Twilight star shows off his abs while holding a surfboard, eating watermelon and splashing around on the beach. Too bad Op didn’t design tight booty shorts this season. Kellan would’ve totally rocked that. Meanwhile, the 24-year-old 30 Rock actress rocks her bikini bod in 80s-inspired prints. Can you believe she’s only 24? I thought she was much older. Check out Op’s latest looks below which are available exclusively from Walmart.
Obrigado and arigatou. I can’t think of a better way to express my gratitude for this sexy Brapanese (Brazilian-Japanese) model. Hideo Muraoka is the perfection combination from both nationalities.
Even though Muraoko was born in Sao Paolo, Brazil, he’s huge in Southeast Asia. Most notably in Thailand and in the Philippines. With regards to the latter, he’s appeared in numerous fashion publications including Men’s Health, Metro and Garage magazine. If you think Hideo is just a dimwitted model, he’s not. He’s posing in front of the lens while he studies law. I’d like to see this 25-year-old’s “gavel” ;)
Check out his portfolio below. You can definitely tell his Muay Thai kickboxing and capoeira skills does his body good. Hope you enjoy this week’s Model Behavior selection. If you have any future suggestions, please share them in the comments section.
If I had to guess which male celebrity has appeared in the most fashion editorials in recent memory, I would probably pick Dave Franco. It seems like the 27-year-old actor consistently pops up in publication after another. His latest finds him heading down under for GQ Australia.
Photographed by David Slijper, Franco sports a colorful array of fashionable nerdy outfits. I wonder if big bro’s short-lived show, Freaks and Geeks, served as inspiration for the spread? Is it me, or does this whole hipster geek chic really work for him. The things I would do to him in that bowtie ;)
If you think this nerd thing is just an act, you have to read the accompanying interview. Franco delivers an eulogy for a dead gecko then flushes him down the toilet with magazine staff witnessing the whole thing. Check out the photos below.
A couple weeks ago, I met the awesome guys behind Vanwolff swim and underwear (Marc & Andrew) when they were here in Vancouver visiting. Then last weekend, I spent some time with them at White Party in Palms Springs and they were gracious enough to give me a pair of swim briefs from their “Prey” collection and I simply love them!
Vanwolff has been around less than a year and have already received a lot of press for their high quality swimwear and unique designs. Their premium “Prey” line includes fourteen unique aquatic animal designs that are engineered and embedded into the fabric. They also have a more basic “Essentials” line that features four vibrant colors using the same innovative style. The swimwear is available in briefs and trunks.
One of the things I love about their designs is all of the detail that goes into it. Every garment features Vanwolff’s signature “woven-in-cording,” meaning each suit comes adorned with an original clever quote (i.e. “I Promise To Behave This Summer,” “Looking for Trouble,” etc.) expertly woven into the drawstring cording. Love that idea – definitely a great way to get a conversation going ;)
It’s hard to imagine that a high luxury brand would tap someone like Courtney Love to front an ad campaign given all her well-documented problems. But that’s exactly what happened and it’s not even the early 90s when grunge was all the rage.
Saint Laurent Paris (previously known as Yves Saint Laurent or YSL) picked the former Hole frontwoman along with three other rockers to star in their The Saint Laurent Music Project campaign. The French fashion house is going through a complete reinvention. Besides the name, which they rebranded in June 2012, they’re trying to move away from hip-hop.
Even though Love is probably the most well-known of the bunch, it’s clear that Sonic Youth singer Kim Gordon is the focus of the creative. Both Ariel Pink and Love have two images released and Marilyn Manson only appears in one so far. Meanwhile Gordon appears in a whopping five. Check them all out below.
I feature plenty of male models on the site, but I have to say, Noah Mills is definitely in my Top 5. Clearly, I’m not alone with my fascination with the Canadian model. Not only is he a favorite among designers including Dolce & Gabbana, but Hollywood casting agents as well. The 29-year-old has served as man candy for Kim Cattrall in Sex and the City 2, stood in as a Jake Gyllenhaal-type in Taylor Swift’s “We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together” music video and Kat Denning’s abtastic ex-boyfriend in CBS’ 2 Broke Girls.
Mills’ latest gig finds him on the cover of GQ Mexico. Not surprisingly he wears a Dolce & Gabbana suit- a crisp two-piece white one at that. Styled by Heidi Meek and snapped by photographer John Russo, Noah is the leading man in the publication’s Spring fashion story. From casual looks to formal attire, he’s all suited up to be the perfect arm candy for any gathering. Check out his editorial below.
Last week, I shared an ad featuring sexy Brazilian model Marlon Teixeira taking a sensual outdoor shower. Since that proved very popular with our readers, I decided to post a couple of more videos starring another stud from Armani Exchange’s Spring/Summer 2013 ad campaign. If you thought the shower scene was hot, wait til you check out these two.
Miguel Iglesias is absolutely smoking while cavorting off the coast of Turks & Caicos wearing just a pair of jeans and skimpy tight whities. Both vids end with #ESCAPEWITHME and to that I quickly and adamantly respond… yes, please. Who wouldn’t want to take off with the sexy Spanish model. Check out both ad spots below.
I first discovered Pull & Bear while traveling in Greece a couple of years ago. I couldn’t believe how on trend some of the pieces were and at affordable prices to boot. Even though Greece is part of the EU, the price tags in the stores had specifically made ones for the country. Gotta love a faltering economy when on vacation ;) Sadly though, there aren’t any Pull & Bear stores in the United States or Canada. The brand is part of Inditex Group which also has Zara and those stores are everywhere. Here’s hoping one comes soon.
The Spanish retailer just launched their new Hipster-inspired line “Heritage.” They picked none other than Swedish male model Benjamin Eidem to front the ad campaign. Couldn’t have picked a better choice to wear their new line. I love me some Benjamin. Be sure to check out my Model Behavior feature on him. Check out Eidem modeling pieces from the label’s Spring/Summer 2013 collection.
