Back in 1994, Mark Simpson coined the term ‘metrosexual‘ in a newspaper essay. Over twenty years later, the English author and journalist explores another phenomenon, male self-objectification.

For the February 2015 issue of OUT magazine, Simpson sits down with male supermodel David Gandy to discuss the topic and get his thoughts on it. Read them below and the 34-year-old model’s experience on gay guys hitting on him.

On Straight Men Wanting Attention

Now they beg and plead for it. They instinctively know that male objectification is about enjoying and celebrating male passivity, even — and especially — if you’re straight. So getting the gays proves not only your hotness, and coolness, but also your metaphysical versatility. It proves that you are a proper, fully fledged, all-singing, all-dancing sex object.

Victoria Beckham recently opened a new flagship store on one of London’s coolest streets- Dover Street. Vogue sent over one of its employees to England to check out Posh Spice’s new boutique and interview Beckham.

The 40-year-old fashion designer answers a bunch of random rapid fire queries for the publication’s popular 73 Q’s segment. Victoria isn’t my favorite Spice Girl but I found myself oddly fascinated with the clip and actually watched her answer all 73 questions.

Find out below which outfit she regrets wearing, her favorite spice, if she believes in love at first sight and, most importantly, why she doesn’t smile. You’ll never guess why.

Justin Bieber is kicking off 2015 much like he spent most of last year- without a shirt. This time however, it’s for an ad campaign and not random moments of the Canadian singer walking the streets.

Bieber is the latest celebrity model for Calvin Klein, following in the footsteps of Mark Wahlberg, Jamie Dornan, Kellan Lutz, Mehcad Brooks, and many more. The 20-year-old is joined in several shots by model Lara Stone. The black & white campaign was snapped by the photography duo of Mert & Marcus.

“Calvin Klein is such an iconic brand and I am excited and honored to become a part of the Calvin Klein brand legacy with this campaign. I have been a longtime fan of the brand and have worn their jeans and underwear for a while, so this is kind of a dream come true,” Justin said in a statement. “This is the beginning of an exciting new year for me, personally and professionally, and being a part of this campaign has been a fantastic opportunity and experience.”

The Beiber isn’t really my cup of tea but I’m sure some of our readers are Beliebers. Personally, he still looks like a boy and not quite manly enough to front CK’s iconic underwear campaign. Nick Jonas, IMHO, would’ve been a better choice. Check out new commercials and more images below.

Jennifer Lopez alone already makes any editorial featuring her a scorcher. Add in the super hot Ryan Guzman and the sex factor is almost too much to handle. With her affinity towards younger men, I wonder if J.Lo dabbled in Guzman’s pool for a little sexy time. I wouldn’t blame her. Guzman is the hottest guy ever to appear in the Step Up franchise. Sorry Channing Tatum :(

To promote their upcoming thriller, Boy Next Door opening January 23, 2015, the duo pose for a stylish and seductive shoot for Latina magazine. Check out the editorial below snapped by Steven Gomillion for the publication’s February 2015 issue.

The music biz is taking the fashion industry by storm. On the heels of Madonna and Calvin Harris being named the faces of Versace and Emporio Armani respectively, comes Nicki Minaj as the new spokesperson for Roberto Cavalli. The 32-year-old rapper takes over for Rita Ora who served as the brand’s last ambassador.

Minaj is flawless serving up high class eleganza in the ad campaign. It’s a good look on her. Photographer Francesco Carrozzini snaps Nicki showing off the label’s gorgeous line of floaty summer dresses that every drag queen would kill for. Check out more images from the campaign below.

The last time I featured Edward Wilding, he steamed things up for an underwear editorial. The British-born stunner sizzles in another spread, this time around for Drew Magazine.
