Did you enjoy Calvin Harris stripping down to his tighty whities? You’ll be glad to know the Scottish DJ is prepping for a new ad campaign for Emporio Armani. The 31-year-old entertainer teased that new visuals were coming by posting another shirtless selfie on Instagram.
“On tour but also training for next Armani shoot! Staying in a gym routine while on the road is tricky, but as long as you don’t drink, eat well, sleep enough and take one of those mad little ab rollers with u everywhere you’ll be good.” – Harris about his fitness regime via Instagram
The drinking and sleeping part is definitely the hardest for me. Papa loves his cocktails and staying up late ;) Check out Harris’ latest shirtless selfie below.
A couple of years ago, Jeremy Irons made controversial comments about same-sex marriage in an interview with Huffington Post. The 66-year-old actor sparked outrage, suggesting that legalizing gay marriage might lead to incest between fathers and sons. He implied that benefits of a change in the law might lead to fathers marrying sons in order to pass on property to avoid inheritance tax. Not surprisingly, Irons backtracked on his comments the days following.
“I think gay marriage is wonderful. I think any reason that holds anybody together in a relationship is great,” Jeremy said. “If it works as glue, if it makes you feel better, if it makes you feel you love your partner more, then great.”
His 29-year-old son, Max Irons opens up about his father’s comments in the latest issue of OUT magazine. Here’s what the younger Irons said.
“I remember thinking, You don’t know what you’re talking about. You’re thinking through a problem out loud. I know my father, and his views are similar to mine: As long as you don’t harm anyone else, what you do and who you love are nobody’s business. He has since clarified as far as I understand, and truth be told, if you pushed him to explain what he was talking about, I don’t think he’d actually know.”
Max also talks about carving out his own career in Hollywood, his role models and his upcoming film, The Riot Club, for the publication. Check out more quotes below, along with photos snapped by Kai Z. Feng.
If James Franco’s sexuality confused you before, this latest interview will have you scratching your head even more. The 36-year-old actor addresses his sexual orientation by having his straight persona interview his gay one for FourTwoNine magazine. In essence, Franco is ‘gay’ in his art, but ‘straight’ in his life.
“Straight” James asked himself, “Are you f–king gay or what?,” to which “gay” James replied, “Well, I like to think that I’m gay in my art and straight in my life. Although, I’m also gay in my life up to the point of intercourse, and then you could say I’m straight. So I guess it depends on how you define gay. If it means whom you have sex with, I guess I’m straight. In the twenties and thirties, they used to define homosexuality by how you acted and not by whom you slept with. Sailors would fuck guys all the time, but as long as they behaved in masculine ways, they weren’t considered gay.”
James has several films coming out in 2015, including three this Spring alone- True Story, Everything Will Be Fine and I Am Michael. I’m most looking forward to the latter where he plays a real life former gay activist who denounces homosexuality and becomes a Christian pastor.
Check out more riveting questions answered by Franco asked by himself below, along with photos snapped by Damon Baker.
I first noticed Miles Teller as the adorable sidekick in the Footloose remake. With a bit of muscle packed on now, the 28-year-old goes from cute to smokin’ hot. It’s amazing what a little ripped action will do.
Teller underwent a body transformation to play five-time World Champion Boxer Vinny Pazienza in Bleed For This. Pazienza famously recovered after injuring himself in a near-fatal car accident in 1991. At the time, he was told he might never walk again. Not only did he get back on his feet but headed back into the ring also.
To achieve a fighter physique, Teller trained with Freddie Roach who’s also worked with boxer Manny Pacquiao. Check out below Miles debuting his new look on The Tonight Show.
Calvin Harris is one of the hottest acts in the music industry right now, literally and figuratively.
He’s got the Midas touch when it comes to crafting dance anthems. And thanks to a buff new body, he’s not half bad at selling underwear as well. His Emporio Armani underwear ads say more than a thousand words. All dirty ones ;)
The 31-year-old Scottish DJ once again shows a little skin. This time for the Sunday Times Style. Check out his sexy new spread below.
Remember when designer John Galliano went on an anti-Semitic tirade at a Parisian cafe? Well, it appears another pair of designers are in hot water after putting their proverbial feet in their mouths.
Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbano of D&G made some controversial comments supporting traditional marriage in an interview with Panorama magazine. The duo who are gay and were once in a relationship with each other also spoke out against IVF, calling them ‘children of chemistry.’
“The family is not a fad. In it there is a supernatural sense of belonging,” Gabbana told Italian magazine Panorama, translated by The Telegraph. “No chemical offsprings and rented uterus: life has a natural flow, there are things that should not be changed.”
“We oppose gay adoptions. The only family is the traditional one,” he also said. “I am opposed to the idea of a child growing up with two gay parents. A child needs a mother and a father. I could not imagine my childhood without my mother. I also believe that it is cruel to take a baby away from its mother.”
Dolce chimed in with, “You are born to a mother and a father — or at least that’s how it should be. I call children of chemistry, synthetic children. Rented uterus, semen chosen from a catalog.”
Naturally, Elton John and his husband David Furnish who have two children via surrogate aren’t amused by these comments. Read John’s rant on Instagram below.
Firstly, congrats to Richard Madden and his Cinderella co-stars for their impressive box office performance. The live-action adaptation of the beloved Disney film conjured up a whopping $70 million, edging out Angelina Jolie’s Maleficent‘s $69.4 million opening from last year.
On a side note, Madden reveals Aladdin is his favorite Disney film by far. The 28-year-old actor shared that tidbit and more with a recent interview with Flaunt magazine. Check out more quotes from Madden below along with photos of him snapped by Tony Kim.
“I get to wear a pair of jeans. Because I’m always in f****** period furs and tight pants and doublets.”
Chocolate City which tells the story of a college student who turns to stripping in order to pay the bills hits theaters next weekend on March 19. Clearly, Tyson Beckford enjoyed his stint as a male exotic dancer. The 44-year-old model turned actor just booked a gig with the Chippendales.
“I am really excited to join the Chippendales show in Las Vegas,” Beckford tells People. “These guys provide a flirty and sexy yet playful experience for women, and being a part of that party each night just seems like fun.”
Beckford is the latest celebrity to guest host the famed male revue. Previous wearers of the iconic bow tie include Ian Ziering, Joe Lawrence and 98 Degrees’ Jeff Timmons.
