“How Rude,” that we never hear about her… Her two older sisters (Mary-Kate & Ashley) have completely practically ignored her (in my humble opinion). What’s her name? Elizabeth Olsen.

She steps into the limelight, now an actress, and acting in an indie drama called, “Martha Marcy May Marlene.” It also stars John Hawkes, Sarah Paulson, Hugh Dancy, and Brady Corbet. It’s about “a young woman who goes to live with her older sister after escaping from a cult led by Hawkes,” according to The Wrap.

So…Elizabeth and Chace Crawford?

Two MuchMusic VJs, both of which were hired though the ever popular MuchMusic VJ Search as finalists/winners, are leaving the station. The names? Devon Soltendieck and Tim Deegan.

Devon has been a VJ on the station since way back in 2004, and has announced the news by way of his Twitter. On Tuesday, he tweeted about having to “tie up loose ends” at Much before apparently accepting a job at CP24 (“Toronto’s Breaking News”). On August 31st he tweeted, “Today is my last day ever @MuchMusic to follow a new career in news. Excited but very nostalgic today.”

The other, Tim Deegan, won the reality show VJ search on MuchMusic 5 years ago and announced his departure by way of his blog: “The time has come for me to leave Much Music, There is so much going through my head right now but I wanted to write you a letter…” You can read his entire letter below.

The National Enquirer has taken another stab at revealing John Travolta’s sexuality and apparent affair with their manny – and call me gullible, but it kinda seems plausible AND N.E. is not the only one working on blowing the lid off his secret life.

Travolta graces the cover of this week’s issue of tabloid mag, claiming he’s been cheating on this 47 year old wife, Kelly Preston, who is due to give birth to a boy later this fall. Rumors in the past have suggested that the Church of Scientology threatened to out his sexuality if he ever left the “church”. Maybe that’s Tom Cruise’s excuse as well? Travolta had already been outed by former Scientologist, Michael Pattinson, who had said that Travolta got down & dirty with porn star Paul Barresi, among other men, at a secret gay spa.

A secret gay spa? Yep, that’s right. Author Robert Randolph is set to release a tell all memoir titled, “You’ll Never Spa in This Town Again,” which will reveal all of the known faces that were Spa-ted at the facility working on their shaft craft. Among some of the names?

A huge explosion from an oil rig was reported in the Gulf of Mexico and the coast guard is on the scene. There were 13 workers aboard the rig – 12 of which were rescued safely, while one is injured. The location of the spill is approximately 90 miles south of Vermilion Bay, and west of the BP oil spill. The rig is owned by Houston-based Mariner Energy, among the largest independent oil and gas companies operating in the Gulf of Mexico.

Another devastating blow to innocent bystanders – the ocean & the environment. Ironic that a man was shot down after taking Discovery Channel hostage in his offbeat efforts to save the environment, then the day after, another oil spill. Not that it has anything to do with Discovery Channel, but just ironic that that was the big news story yesterday, and this will be the big one today, and for days to come I’m sure.

Holy crap! This is a scary situation! There is a gunman in the lobby of Discovery Channel HQ in Silver Spring, Md. The guy is a former employee, Asian, and apparently has already fired his weapon in the building. No one has been reported to be injured, but the suspect appears to be wearing an explosive device of some sort strapped to his chest as well and holding someone hostage.

Hopefully the authorities are able to change the channel on this situation before anyone gets hurt and the guy makes a bigger mistake than he already has.

UPDATE: Police have shot the gunman, believed to be James J. Lee, and all the hostages are safe. He apparently was criticizing the network in his efforts to save the planet and back in in ‘08 made had following statement on a website registered in his name:

“These guys have been very sneaky and deceptive as to their contribution to the planetary problems. Just look at their ‘new’ show about saving the planet, Planet Green, to me, it’s just another show about more PRODUCTS to make MONEY, not about actual solutions. We can’t let them get away with doing it anymore.”

Violence is never the answer.

Looks like Katy Perry’s Teenage Dream has come true, as her album has soared to number one on the Billboard Top 200 Albums Chart. Funny enough, this is the first album by a female artist to make it to number one since Ke$ha reigned the charts back in January. Why is that funny? Because I feel that Ke$ha and Katy Perry are the two artists that have received the most hate on our site by writers and readers alike, yet the charts show that most people are buying their albums when they reach number one.

Katy Perry beats her own record of previously peaking at #8 on the charts with her 2008 debut album, “One Of The Boys,” which featured the hit, “I Kissed A Girl”. In her opening week, she’s sold 192,000 copies of her album (Have you seen them in STARBUCKS!? – I’m sure that helped!) Fantasia is at number two with “Back To Me” and Eminem has moved down to number three with “Recovery“.

I’m still crossing my fingers that Peacock is released as one of her singles from the album and that she makes a video for it as well – or better yet, uses this one.

Designer Calvin Klein, 67 years old, had been seen earlier this summer, hanging out with 20 year old model/boytoy, Nick Gruber – and by hanging out, we mean going to public events together as a pair, and we can only supsect doing what you can only imagine behind closed drawers doors.

Now, Gawker did some investigating and found what appears to be Gruber’s Facebook page (Nick Oo) as well as his ModelMayhem.com profile (Nick London) and compiled some hot pictures of the chiseled boy. He’s originally from Crystal River, Florida and graduated just last year. Right now, he’s studying at Santa Rosa Junior College, near San Francisco.

Gawker is not certain that they are the same person for sure, but it seems as though they are. Even if they aren’t, what’s the harm in looking at some underwear model’s photos to break up your day?

Our once favorite teenage red head actress turned celebrity media whore turned train wreck recently got out of treatment and Lindsay Lohan seems to be a changed woman for once. Wasting no time, she’s already sat down with Vanity Fair and graces the cover of their October issue, opening up and taking responsibility for who she was and what she has done. She’s honest about where her career is and knows what she is capable of and seems ready to work for it once again. Check out some of the interview below:

On her rumoured alcohol addiction: “If I were the alcoholic everyone says I am, then putting a [scram] bracelet on would have ended me up in detox, in the emergency room, because I would have had to come down from all the things that people say I’m taking and my father says I’m taking — so that says something, because I was fine.”

On denying a drug problem: “I’ve never abused prescription drugs. I never have — never in my life. I have no desire to. That’s not who I am. I’ve admitted to the things that I’ve done — to, you know, dabbling in certain things and trying things ’cause I was young and curious and thought it was like, O.K., ’cause other people were doing it and other people put it in front of me. And I see what happened in my life because of it.”
