For us mere mortals, Henry Cavill’s body is more than adequate. But I suppose when you’re the Man of Steel, the standards are higher.

The 32-year-old actor took to Instagram to share a photo of his enviable physique during his workout. #progress

“Warm up phase for Superman training started today! Posting this pic to set myself a minimum goal…and force myself to actually keep going haha!” he captioned the photo.

Check out the photo below. For all you guys who love a little hair on their men, you’re in luck. Cavill sports some on his chest and flat stomach. Slurp!!!

nicki-minaj-beef

Looks like Nicki Minaj isn’t letting her beef with Miley Cyrus die anytime soon. The 33-year-old rapper throws some shade at the “Wrecking Ball” singer on a new remix for Yo Gotti’s “Down in the DM.”

“He said ‘Kylie, what’s good?’/I said Miley, what’s good?/I said could you pay my bills like O’Reilly, what’s good?”

If you recall, Minaj put Cyrus on blast at the MTV Video Music Awards for Miley’s New York Times interview about Minaj’s feud with Taylor Swift. At first, Cyrus thought Minaj was joking but then quickly realized “What’s Good, Miley?” was a threat.

Give the track a listen below which includes Minaj name dropping Beyonce, Bill O’Reilly and Kylie. Pretty safe to say the latter is referencing Jenner and not Minogue. You never know with Nicki though 😉

bruce-jenner-caitlyn-vanity-fair

The American Society of Magazine Editors (ASME) declared Caitlyn Jenner’s Vanity Fair issue shot by Annie Leibovitz as Cover of the Year. Roughly 100 of the industry’s top editors, art directors and photo editors came to the decision.

“The cover contest judges had tough decisions to make this year,” said ASME chief executive Sid Holt. “Any time you have to choose between an already legendary Annie Leibovitz shoot on the cover of Vanity Fair, a Mark Seliger comedy special on GQ and one of the year’s most talked-about news covers, ‘Cosby: The Women’ on New York — plus Serena Williams on both Sports Illustrated and New York — that’s a good time to be a magazine editor and an even better time to be a magazine reader.”

While Vanity Fair beat out Amy Schumer’s GQ cover, the Star Wars-themed issue won out in a separate reader’s choice contest. Other winners include Reese Witherspoon’s Glamour Woman of the Year cover by Tom Munro and Rihanna’s Harper’s Bazaar cover by Norman Jean Roy for women’s lifestyle category, and fashion and beauty category respectively.

union-j-gay-members

When it comes to boy bands, the ongoing joke is that there’s usually one member that’s gay. One Direction, we’re still waiting 😉

In the case of X Factor UK alum Union J, there’s two. George Shelley (second from left) took to YouTube to put an end to internet speculation about his sexuality.

The 22-year-old singer prefaced his coming out by revealing he’s been on a personal journey and wants to start 2016 with a clean slate. “I’ve been reading a lot of speculation online as to whether I’m, straight, gay or bi.” He adds, “It’s all these labels and it’s a little bit old-fashioned and this is why I’m not going to label it myself. I’ve had girlfriends that I’ve loved, in amazing periods of my life, but I’ve also had boyfriends.”

Shelley joins his bandmate Jaymi Hensley (far right) as another member of the LGBT community. Hensely is engaged to his long-term partner Olly Marmon. Check out Shelley’s coming out vid below, along with a couple of videos from the One Direction-like group.

Were the sales for Emotion so awful that it’s come to Carly Rae Jepsen singing for loose change? Sure, her last LP didn’t exactly burn up the charts, but Jepsen’s stint as a street performer was for Funny or Die.

The 30-year-old singer headed to Santa Monica’s Third Street Promenade to give shoppers an unexpected surprise. At first, no one recognized her but once she started belting out “Call Me Maybe” and other hits, pedestrians caught on. Watch below to find out how much the Canadian earned as a busker.
