The single most iconic female super hero of all time has been cast.

Wonder Woman, who has been in movie production hell since forever, has finally found a face. Newcomer (THANK GOD) Gal Gadot who was seen in one of the Fast and Furious movies has been chosen to portray the female icon in the Warner Bros. movie universe, starting with her first appearance in Superman v. Batman, also starring Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck.

I couldn’t be more thrilled.

The casting for this role is probably one of the hardest. Everyone will have an opinion, and I personally think they chose well. Her face is stunning, she’s got that exotic look that WW needs. Throw her in a gym for a year, give her a GREAT push up bra, some hair extension and a GREAT outfit and we’ve got the perfect Wonder Woman.

Good job WB, you’ve done well so far! Click below to see the new face of Wonder Woman!

I’m in love. I am so in love I can’t even stand it. I want to introduce you all to Craig Ramsay.

I first got a glimpsed of this blonde god on an episode of 2 Broke Girls during the Grindr episode and nearly fell off my couch. In a 5 second cameo he became one of my most favourite characters. It wasn’t until today that I realized how absolutely madly in internet love I was with this soon to be viral internet sensation. (Trust me, it’s going to happen).

Craig Ramsay has something called the 5 Minute Workout Anywhere, and when he says anywhere he MEANS it. Fitting rooms, the copy machine and even in church! Craig is not accepting your excuse for not finding 5 minutes to work out. Craig is a gem, I WISH he had a class here in town it would be the most popular thing in the city. The funny thing is these actually work! I do really really feel the burn. I am really making copies AND making progress. I am praying away those sinful calories!

You need to watch these clips and tell me what you think in the comments below!

RuPaul’s Drag Race Season 6…TEASE!

In: Tommy D, TV Shows

The time has come…for WoW to release the first teaser trailer for the next season of RuPaul’s Drag Race!

They are only giving us 10 seconds of Ru probably looking the fiercest she has ever looked in a striped catsuit and Hair up to There wig! That is all they are giving us and that is what we will take.

I’m sure next we’re going to get a picture of the queens without their faces on, then we will get a picture of the queens, then we’ll get the final trailer.

One thing I noticed is that it’s coming in FEBRUARY, not JANUARY!

Take a look at the tuck tease below!

It’s Manila Luzon overload today at the Homorazzi offices!

In true Manila fashion she has released two new delicious morsels of fun for us. The first is a segment of World of Wonder’s hit web series Ring My Bell. There is also a really amazing caller on this segment, he sounds extremely attractive and super cool!

The second is the long awaited release of her next single, this one titled “Bring It” featuring season 5 winner Jinkx Monsoon. I of course bought it at 2:30 am last night after stumbling home from Liberace Thursday, listened to it and loved it. It’s got a great dance beat, a fun hook and unless I”m mistaken an homage to the dearly departed Sahara Davenport. With a really fun rap by Jinkx Monsoon, how can you go wrong for 99 cents!

If you want to get the single you CLICK HERE and get it from iTunes (she’s also got it on amazon!)

Check out the episode of RING MY BELL below!

Musical Review: The Wizard Of Oz

In: The Arts, Tommy D, Totally GAY!

Original Toronto Cast. Photo by CYLLA VON TIEDEMANN.

We’re off to see the wizard..the wonderful wizard of Oz!

I have been wanting to see this since they had that hilarious Over the Rainbow… search for Dorothy. Well it’s finally in Vancouver and I got to see it opening night.

The story of Dorothy and Oz is not a new one. There have been countless adaptations (The Wiz), prequels (Wicked) and even sequels (Return to Oz), but I have to tell you I am pretty surprised that this is the first musical adaptation I’ve seen that essentially the same as the movie. I’ll give you the quick version of the story in case you’ve been living under a rock for the past 74 years.

Halloween Countdown!

In: Tommy D, Totally GAY!, Videos

It’s almost GAY CHRISTMAS ya’ll!

Halloween is my third favourite time of year (after PRIDE and actual Christmas) and to celebrate our friends over at WOW have released a terrifying trio of clips from reigning Scream Queen SHARON NEEDLES.

All of October you’re going to get Sharon Needles’ HORROR SCOPE where she’s going to dust off the old horror VHS’ and review them. So far she’s released The Return of the Living Dead as well as Baby!

And finally my favorite weekly web series TRANSFORMATIONS which I have written about before many times, had Sharon come on and beat James St James’ face. It’s a great episode and you’ll never believe the transformation. Check out all three clips below!

They are BACK!

Detox, Willam & Vicky the super popular super talented drag queen girl group (that’s a mouthful) are back and just in time! Coming off their 3rd parody “Silicone” (a parody of Robyn’s Dancing on my Own) the trio decide to take on the summer’s biggest hit… with a twist!

No doubt this year one of the biggest headline stealers was Amanda Bynes, and they mashed up her story with the biggest song of the year. Naturally it’s hysterical. I LOVE these three they really are super funny and incredibly talented. Check out “BLURRED BYNES” below!

Nerd Alert: J.H Williams III Leaving Batwoman

In: Random Reads, Tommy D

Hey nerds, it’s been a while and unfortunately I come bearing REALLY awful news. At 10:11pm PST the brilliance that is JH Williams III tweeted with a heavy heart that he was leaving Batwoman. This is the single most devastating news that I could’ve heard on new comic book day.

For me personally, Batwoman was the only perfect book that DC Comics had left after their new 52 change. Sure some books are great, but most are a mess and Batwoman was one that stood out every month for me. Not only that but Batwoman: ELEGY was the first story I read as a new comic reader just 2 short years ago. When I met JHW at Comic Con this past year, I didn’t have much to say to him but Thank You. Thank you for getting me into comics because I have truly found something that I love. Thank you for the stories, and for the art. Thank you for taking a strong lesbian character and putting her at the forefront of superheroes, and thank you for making the fact that she’s a lesbian not a big deal. Batwoman is so much more than just a female Batman. She is a strong, beautiful, intelligent and FIERCE character. She’s as beautiful as any of the girls and as tough as any of the guys.

The reason for his departure is (SHOCKING…not) DC Comics and their 11th hour editing which has become the norm right now. As a new reader I was just going with the flow with their changes; the new 52, the different writers going back and forth, Damian getting killed, zero month..whatever, but this one is so sad for me. This news has actually made me so upset that I don’t even think I will continue with the title after JHW leaves.

Shame on you DC Comics, shame on you for not letting your writers and artist have the creative freedom that they need to tell their stories. Shame on you for not letting Kate and Maggie get married. Shame on you for once again being the cause of a great storyteller quitting HIS story. Even though you may own the rights to Batwoman, you did not give her life, you did not give her a soul. That honour belongs to JHW & Haden.
