What do you say I’m talking about? I’m talking about impossible situations in love. It is human nature to want things we can’t have and unfortunately that carries over to our love lives. I have been single for the past 2 years because I decided I no longer want to settle. I want to find “the one” I want to be with and not settle for someone that will do “for now”. If I hadn’t learned anything from my past relationships I would think they were a waste of time but each relationship helped me learn a little bit more about myself and what kind of a boyfriend I was and can be.
My last relationship ended amicably but my love life in turn became tumultuous. It all started with a friend that was in a rocky relationship whose boyfriend was having an affair. Long story short….we ended up having an affair at the same time his bf was having an affair. Yes it didn’t justify either affairs but we’re only human. So you can imagine how things ended since I am still single.
I do not religiously sync my music to my iPhone or iPod shuffle…usually this happens before I go on a trip. I updated it shortly before leaving for Orlando with the most current dance tunes that I knew were going to be played and were going to be our weekend anthems. Three of the songs I used on the video slideshow I made HERE. I rarely listen to original versions of tracks and usually search for remixes done by my favourites such as Digital Dog, Tony Moran, Abel, Jason Nevins, Soulseekerz, Ralphi Rosario, Rauhofer, DJ Escape, Karmatronic, Dave Aude, Offer Nissim, Deadmau5 to name a few.
So what 10 tracks currently live in my iPod?
Kelly Rowland – When Love Takes Over (Abel Ramos Paris with Love Remix)
Finally Kelly Rowland came out with a real hit! Too bad that it took a collaboration with David Guetta to get there. If you’re trying to figure out what song this samples….it’s Coldplay’s “Clocks”. B-rilliant!
Being a veteran in the circuit party scene (not something I’m particularly proud of but hey it was a phase)… I knew this trip was going to be one crazy weekend. My circuit party experience started in 2002 when I attended over 6 parties across America. Since then it’s drastically tapered down and you could say I’ve gone into circuit retirement. There was a lot of drama surrounding this year’s event organizer but fortunately it all remained fun nonetheless.
Five friends and I ventured out to Orlando from June 4th to the 9th for One Mighty Weekend! With our SKMPEEZ packed for the pool parties during the day and our circuit toned shirtless bodies at night, we were ready to party full force.
On day one, wake up and have some breakfast- which consisted of some fruits, deli meats, brown bread, yogurt and a cocktail, of course. We start getting ready for the first pool party which was conveniently just a hop and a skip outside since we were staying at the host hotel. Dancing, meeting people, swimming and catching some rays was in order from noon until about 6PM. Most people go back to their hotel rooms to freshen up, get dinner, take a power nap and get ready for Typhoon Lagoon. This party was held at a water park and was amazing… imagine thousands of men in bathing suits dancing in the sand and playing in the wave pool. With our SKMPEEZ on, we headed to the party and danced our booties off. We sported the Big Applez and the signature SKMPEEZ swimsuits from their Euroz line which is perfectly cut to give just enough coverage without having to wear a full on speedo cut. For the more conservative guy, they also have the SQUAREZ line which is a little more generously cut for more coverage.
I think you have more pressing issues if you can no longer reach your hiney. Maybe you should go on a diet no? I mean seriously…as if that piece of toilet paper is going to actually stay on that stick after it has served its purpose.
Pretty funny parody of Lady GaGa’s Pokerface. Don’t get me wrong…I am totally in love with GaGa. She’s amazing and very talented. But it’s always entertaining to poke fun at
poker face pop culture.
They say that a good indication parenting skills become evident when you raise a pet. Parenting skills are partly acquired from our own upbringing and a lot of bad parenting practices are passed down from generation to generation. I was raised in a 50-50 environment where mom played the good cop while dad played the bad cop. My dad was the disciplinarian and my mother compensated by spoiling us.
Having a pet is good training specially because there is the responsibility of caring for the pet’s emotional and physical needs as well as behavioural and health issues. Now in no way am I saying I’m the best parent to my pet but I do try my best to provide a loving and protective home for him. Yes, I spoil my dog but I only do because he deserves it. I could not have been any luckier to have such a well behaved dog who does not destroy our home. The amount of joy he brings me is worth every sacrifice (which really isn’t a lot) I’ve had to make like not being out too late on the weekends. He is always there for me and loves me unconditionally.
It makes me sad to see many pet owners that do not spend enough time with their pet. They need exercise and social stimulation. It is very important that dogs are socialized with humans and other dogs. Also, leaving a dog at home for 8 hours is cruel. If you can’t come home in the middle of the day to let them out then you shouldn’t have a dog. Imagine being left indoors for 8 hours or more? Not nice! Would you do that to your own child when the time comes? I am very lucky that I can take my dog to work and on the days that I can’t, I drop him off at my ex-bf’s place and they spend the day together playing and hanging out.
Since we are on to literal video translations…here’s another one of one of my favourite videos growing up as a kid. I thought this video was so cool and cutting edge at the time. Now that I look back on it…it was kinda cheezy but still cool in it’s own way lol
Isn’t he just adorable? Pretty smart too. I love how open and comfortable he is with his sexuality at such a young age. I remember being in denial at that age.
