Who would’ve guessed that Pitbull was such a Swiftie? Not in a million years for me, but apparently he is and like most radio listeners, he’s a fan of “Blank Space.” So much so, he decided to record an unofficial remix for Taylor Swift’s current smash.

He reveals in the prelude that he was so impressed with the 25-year-old singer’s performance at the American Music Awards which he hosted, he felt compelled to jump on it and add his signature swagger.

Unlike his usual lyrics of downing Fireball or anything partying related, Mr. Worldwide gets a little introspective. Guess T-Swizzle’s songwriting process is rubbing off on him. Check out the remix below which is just essentially Pitbull rapping for about a minute before Taylor’s song kicks in.

Finally, I think The Voice has a potential multi-platinum selling artist on their hands. While Cassadee Pope and Danielle Bradbery have enjoyed moderate success, there hasn’t been a bona fide superstar to emerge from the singing competition as of yet.

I have a hunch that’s all going to change this year, if Matt McAndrew or Chris Jamison win. I wasn’t a fan of either when the finalists were first announced but both have won me over tremendously, especially Jamison. He’s the one I’m rooting for. He’s part Justin Timberlake, part Nick Jonas and all kinds of sexy.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I believe for the first time ever, all four finalists recorded an original song and filmed a music video to accompany it. Sure the visuals aren’t anything innovative but given the turnaround time, I think they’re stellar. Each finalist was given a solid track to perform, giving everyone an equal shot. As stated before, I’m rooting for Jamison because I love his track “Velvet” though McAndrew and Damien with “Wasted Love” and “Soldier” respectively are great as well. Definitely check out all the clips below.

It was a family affair for Reba McEntire when she received the Nash Icon Award at this year’s American Country Countdown Awards. Kelly Clarkson, who married McEntire’s son Brandon Blackstock last year, paid tribute to her mother-in-law, along with country superstar Miranda Lambert. Coincidentally, or perhaps not, Lambert’s husband, Blake Shelton, is managed by Blackstock. Quite a tight knit group that country world is.

Kelly and Miranda sang “How Blue” and “Take It Back” together before Reba joined in on the action and got “Fancy” with the ladies. The legendary 59-year-old singer was the first to receive the ACC Awards’ Icon Award and deservedly so given her many contributions to the genre.

Check out her acceptance speech below, along with the medley performance from all three women.

First Knight Of Cups Trailer Premieres

In: Donovan, Movies

The pedigree of this film is absolutely off the charts. Oscar-nominated Terrence Malick wrote and directed Knight Of Cups which features an all-star cast headlined by Christian Bale who takes a break leading the Hebrews’ exodus from Egypt.

The former Dark Knight is joined by Cate Blanchett, Natalie Portman, Brian Dennehy, Antonio Banderas, Freida Pinto, Wes Bentley, Isabel Lucas, Teresa Palmer, Imogen Poots, Armin Mueller-Stahl and the voice of Ben Kingsley. The film was recently announced it would have its world premiere at the upcoming Berlin Film Festival in February. Malick previously won the festival’s prestigious Golden Bear back in 1999 for The Thin Red Line.

Not much has been revealed about the film’s plot. Try to make any sense of the cryptic official movie synopsis below. What is known is the film will tell a tale about celebrity and its excesses with Bale playing a confused man trying to survive life in the fast lane of Hollywood and its many temptations. Check out the trailer below.

Movie Synopsis

Once there was a young prince whose father, the king of the East, sent him down into Egypt to find a pearl. But when the prince arrived, the people poured him a cup. Drinking it, he forgot he was the son of a king, forgot about the pearl and fell into a deep sleep. Rick’s father used to read this story to him as a boy. The road to the East stretches out before him. Will he set forth?

Ummm, hell no!!! I was a fan of Iggy Azalea, that is until she revealed the concert dates for The Great Escape Tour. I’m obviously kidding, but why no love for the Pacific Northwest I-G-G-Y??? Neither Seattle, Portland nor Vancouver were included :(

I can live without the seeing the 24-year-old femcee but the fact she’s bringing along Nick Jonas and rising R&B sensation Tinashe is putting salt in this giant wound. Yes, Jonas is cute but I’m obsessed with Tinashe. To me she’s young Janet meets classic Aaliyah with a touch of Ciara. Love, love, love her.

For those fortunate enough, the tour kicks off on April 14 in Fresno before concluding in Austin on May 24. I’m pretty sure more dates will be added, but for now, check out the confirmed stops below. Tickets will be available beginning this Friday.

Well, this ups the ante for these guys’ bromance. BuzzFeed enlisted three sets of straight best buddies to see each other naked for the first time, captured on camera of course.

One relationship dated all the way back from the 3rd grade while one was relatively new at only two years. Regardless of the length, naturally, some awkward laughter and silence followed. I’d probably do the same if I had to do this with my closest friends. Once in the friend zone, always in the friend zone in my books.

Check out some of the amusing reactions below which includes comments about their bud’s interesting hairdo down there and even features an impromptu game of ‘helicopter.’

The Birdman train to eventual Oscar glory keeps chugging along. The Michael Keaton film leads the pack (once again) with 13 nominations, this time for the 20th Annual Critics’ Choice Movie Awards. Close behind were The Grand Budapest Hotel and Boyhood with 11 and eight nominations respectively. Angelina Jolie’s Unbroken which was snubbed at the Golden Globes earned a Best Picture nod.

Legendary Super Bowl Champion Michael Strahan will serve as the show’s host which will air live on A&E at 9 p.m. ET on Jan. 15. As announced previously, Kevin Costner, Ron Howard and Jessica Chastain will each receive special honors at the ceremony.

Costner will receive their Lifetime Achievement Award while Ron Howard will be bestowed with the LOUIS XIII Critics’ Choice Genius Award. That latter is given to honor an icon who has demonstrated unprecedented excellence in the cinematic arts. Chastain receives the inaugural ‘Critics’ Choice MVP Award which recognizes an extraordinary actor for their work in several standout movies throughout a single year. She definitely deserves it with for her critically-acclaimed work in Interstellar, Miss Julie, A Most Violent Year and The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby.

Check out all of this year’s nominations below.

God bless her little heart. Despite her new album doing poorly in sales, even in the UK where she’s found moderate success as a solo artist, Nicole Scherzinger is still churning out music videos for singles off Big Fat Lie, hoping one of them sticks. Gotta love her determination.

Naturally, with none of the previous tracks doing that well, there probably wasn’t much money left for another visual. Doesn’t matter to the 36-year-old former Pussycat Doll. She manages, what I assume, was a shoestring budget into something simple yet an entertaining visual.

Scherzy shows off her killer silhouettes and dance moves that Ciara would be proud of, with not much more than some colorful lighting and one backup dancer. Check our her new video for “Bang” below.
