Ewan McGregor is no stranger when it comes to big budget musicals. The 44-year-old Scottish actor dazzled alongside Nicole Kidman in Moulin Rouge. Til this day, I play the soundtrack frequently, especially “Your Song” and “Elephant Love Medley.”

If reports are true, moviegoers will soon see McGregor showing off his vocal chops once again on the big screen. According to the Hollywood Reporter, he’s in final negotiations to join the live action adaptation of Beauty and the Beast. Find out which character he might play below.

X-Men Character Comes Out In Upcoming Issue

In: Donovan, Totally GAY!
x-men-iceman-comes-out

Marvel’s All-New X-Men follows young versions of Ice Man, Cyclops, Beast, Angel, and Jean Grey who are displaced in time. In the new issue #40, out on Wednesday, one of the original five team members comes out as gay.

Bobby Drake aka Ice Man opens up to Jean Gray about having feelings about one of his fellow male mutants. After initial denials, Iceman acknowledges what Jean had already confirmed from invading his mind.

The cute Shawn Ashmore played Ice Man in the X-Men feature films. Fingers crossed in an upcoming installment of the superhero franchise, Ashmore gets some man-on-man action. In the meantime, check out some leaked pages snagged by The Advocate below.

Rihanna Rocks Bright Eye Shadow For V Magazine

In: Donovan, Fashion

It’s all about color for Rihanna on the latest cover of V Magaizne. The 27-year-old fashion icon rocks some seriously bright eye shadow for photographer Steven Klein and not much else.

Once again, the “FourFiveSeconds” singer poses topless. Hell, if you got it, flaunt it. Her body isn’t going stay young and perky forever.

The vibrant spread is a bit retro with a dash of Caribbean chulo for good measure. Check out more pics below from the publication’s Summer 2015 issue along with a few quotes from the accompanying interview.

On Her Upcoming Album

“Dude, I’m in love with my interludes. This one called ‘James,’ joint is on constant repeat. [The album is] soulful and aggressive, whether it’s lyrically, musically, or just the tone of my voice.”

christina-aguilera-shotgun

Now this is more like it!!! When Christina Aguilera signed on for a guest arc on the ABC drama Nashville, many expected X-Tina to dabble in country. The first track she recorded, “The Real Thing,” harkened more to her Back to Basics era and sounded more pop cabaret than anything you’d hear on country radio. With her latest, the 34-year-old singer finally channels her inner country gal.

Shotgun” is an emotional moving ballad. X-tina exhibits restrained vocals much like she did on her “Say Something” collaboration with A Great Big World. Even without her signature growling, Christina’s voice is bombastic. Elegant, but still powerful.

She performed “Shotgun” earlier this week at the ACM Awards with Rascal Flatts. The studio version also features male vocals but I’m not entirely convinced it’s Rascal Flatts. I’m leaning towards an actor who appears on Nashville. Give it a listen below.

“I really love the song. It speaks to long-lasting love, the roads it takes, the turns it makes and how it lasts forever,” Christina told PEOPLE. “When I perform it, I really think of that older couple who have been through it all and who have stood the test of time with the changes that their relationship goes through.”

John Stamos Officially Confirms Fuller House

In: Donovan, TV Shows
full-house-sequel

News first broke out about a potential Full House sequel earlier this month. During an appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live, John Stamos officially confirmed a revival of the popular TGIF sitcom is coming. “We’ve been working on this for many, many years,” the 51-year-old actor shared.

Fuller House is set to debut sometime in 2016 with 13 episodes. The Netflix series will see Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber reprising their roles as D.J. Tanner-Fuller, Stephanie Tanner and Kimmy Gibbler. While other stars from the original ABC series are currently in negotiations to appear on the show in guest-starring capacities, these three ladies will helm the series. Read about the show’s premise below.

the-bachelorette-season-11

Poor Kaitlyn Bristowe and Britt Nilsson. They have no idea what they signed up for. As if a normal season of The Bachelor or Bachelorette wasn’t crazy enough? These poor girls have to endure apparently ‘50 shades of cray‘ for Season 11. At least based on the first promo released by ABC.

In the clip, we see some of the guys already engaging in some heated battles on the first night, along with a guy making his entrance as a huge giant cupcake. I think that’s a first for the long-running reality show. That’s not even the half of it.

Things will undoubtedly get even wackier when the guys have to place their votes on who they want as the official Bachelorette. If you’ve read the spoilers, you know who they picked. Personally, I’m ecstatic on who was chosen.

The Bachelorette’s two-night season premiere begins Monday, May 18, at 8 p.m. on ABC. Check out the first clip below. Both ladies look stunning.

After hearing the short snippet Adam Lambert shared last week, I fully expected “Ghost Town” to be one full out EDM concoction. While there are certainly some killer beats, the track surprisingly features moody acoustic verses before kicking things into high gear during the chorus. Like Hilary Duff’s “Sparks,” the Max Martin and Shellback-produced single includes some hypnotic whistles.

“It was executive produced by Max Martin and Shellback and they helped me keep a very cohesive sound and mood throughout. Sonically it feels more contemporary than my previous material. It’s definitely pop but not bubblegum. We have avoided camp and theatrics and have favoured a darker, more grounded vibe, and at the same time, it will make you dance” – Adam Lambert via Hunger magazine

In addition to debuting the lyric video for the lead cut off his third studio album, the 33-year-old entertainer revealed the official tracklist for The Original High. The most notable detail that pops up is a track titled “Rumors” which features Tove Lo. I can’t wait to hear this collaboration.

Check out the “Ghost Town” lyric clip below along with the tracklist. I’m already obsessed with the cut. It’s a haunting pop dance masterpiece.

empire-season-2-cast

Anyone else going through Empire withdrawal? I definitely am. It’s not the same without a weekly sassy one-liner from the one and only Cookie Lyon (Taraji P. Henson).

TVLine.com reports that two cast members featured during the freshman series of the hip-hop drama have been promoted for Season 2. Have any guesses? While I was hoping for either Naomi Campbell or Courtney Love to make more appearances, I’m okay with the lucky duo. These two characters are fan favorites and made memorable splashes whenever they appeared on screen. Find out who below.
