Things on the Lindsay Lohan front have been relatively quiet as of late. Normally that would be a bad thing for most celebrities, but for LiLo, that’s not so bad. It most likely means she’s staying out of trouble. Given her stormy past, this is a massive improvement.

The 28-year-old actress graces the cover of Wonderland Magazine’s latest issue. She could give Molly Ringwald a run for her money given her pink attire. Photographer Alex Sainsbury was tapped to snap Lohan for the publication. Check out more pics below, along with some quotes from the accompanying interview.

Aubrey Plaza Is Grumpy Cat

In: Donovan, TV Shows
aubrey-plaza-grumpy-cat

No disrespect to Aubrey Plaza, but she sorta looks like a grumpy cat. Her casting is one of the most inspired I’ve read in recent memory.

The Parks and Recreation star will voice Grumpy Cat in Lifetime’s upcoming TV movie Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever. The film centers on “a pet-store cat that is perpetually overlooked and the 12-year-old girl, Chrystal, who can communicate with her.”

Since becoming an internet sensation in 2012, Grumpy Cat has released a book, a coffee product and other ventures. Grumpy Cat’s Worst Christmas Ever premieres on Lifetime Saturday, November 29, at 8 p.m. ET/PT.

Are you excited for this? Is Plaza the perfect choice to voice the part? Weigh in below.

Rising Artist Spotlight: Tove Lo

In: Donovan, Music
tove-lo-queen-of-the-clouds

With her debut album, Queen Of The Clouds, about to drop on September 30, I thought it was the perfect time to put the spotlight on this talented Swedish singer. What is it about Sweden that churns out so many fantastic pop acts? Robyn, Ace of Base, Icona Pop, Avicii, ABBA and the list goes on. Not to mention IKEA ;)

Born Tove Ebba Elsa Nilsson, the 26-year-old has written songs for other artists including Icona Pop, Girls Aloud, and Cher Lloyd. I have no doubt you’ve heard her infectious single “Habits (Stay High).” 18 months after its release, it’s finally making an impact on the Billboard Hot 100 breaking into the Top 20.

Tove Lo recently debuted two followups- “Not On Drugs” and “Timebomb.” Both tracks have me excited to check out her debut LP. Time magazine touts it as “one of the year’s strongest pop releases.” I can’t wait to watch her show, when her tour hits my neck of the woods in the coming weeks. Check her new tracks below, along with some of her earlier work.

National Lampoon’s Vacation Reboot: Meet The Cast

In: Donovan, Movies

New Line Cinema’s reboot of the Vacation franchise has been in the works for sometime now. After a few speed bumps, it’s finally on track with filming beginning this month.

Original stars Chevy Chase and Beverly D’Angelo who played the patriarch and matriarch of the Griswold family are expected to make cameos. A sort of passing the torch. Like all the sequels, the Griswold children will be played by different actors from the first film. Check out the reboot/sequel cast below. It even includes an Avenger.

celebrity-fan-encounters

Imagine what celebrities go through when fans run into them. I’m pretty sure being approached by random strangers gets annoying real fast. I know I get rattled a bit when someone I don’t recognize comes up to me . It’s virtually impossible to be personable 24/7.

During the 2014 Toronto International Film Festival, Vanity Fair asked several celebs what their fans say to them when they recognize them on the street. They get everything from “You’re famous . . . who are you again?” to being called the completely wrong name. In the clip, Jennifer Connelly and Keira Knightley confess they’ve been mistaken for Demi Moore and Anne Hathaway respectively.

Check out below what Reese Witherspoon, Channing Tatum, Jake Gyllenhaal and others shared with the publication. Gyllenhaal’s is one of my favorites: “We don’t wanna talk to you, we just wanna take a picture with you.” That’s totally something I would say ;)

the-view-season-18-premiere

With double the Rosies (O’Donnell and Perez), things came up very rosy for The View. The long-running daytime chatfest netted its best season premiere ratings in eight years, drawing 3.9 million total viewers.

Coincidentally enough, it was the best since the first time Rosie O’Donnell joined the show in 2006. It was up 15% in the 18-49 age group over last year’s launch, and up 20% with women 25-54.

It appears all the changes (new panelists Nicole Wallace and Perez, new executive producer, new studio and new set) are working. At least so far, it is. Question is, will it continue?

I missed the season premiere, but caught the second episode. While I enjoyed it for the most part, it was awkward at times. The chemistry among the women isn’t there just yet. Understandable given their short time together. It’ll be interesting to see how long O’Donnell plays nice with the other ladies, especially with the Republican. Any wagers?

If you missed the premiere, check out the segment below where the ladies introduce themselves. If you’ve sampled the new View, are you liking the new changes? Be sure to weigh in below.

nick-jonas-jealous-video

Nick Jonas previously revealed that his girlfriend served as the inspiration for his new track “Jealous” after a night out partying. I’m assuming the former Miss Universe stunner attracted attention from several unwanted suitors. I’m also sure he attracted his fair share of lustful glances as well.

It only makes sense Olivia Culpo appears in the accompanying visual. The 22-year-old beauty queen plays a cello while wearing lingerie as one of her duties in the clip. Meanwhile, Jonas shows off his athletics skills- punching a body bag, batting the sh*t out of a light bulb and playing basketball against a much taller opponent. It’s all very random, including the part where he plays a cab driver. Check out the video below.

Barrett Pall For Charlie By Matthew Zink

In: Donovan, Fashion, Totally GAY!

Charlie by Matthew Zink has a history of tapping fashion models and non-professionals to star in their ads. This ad campaign keeps in line with that mandate.

These photos featuring Q Management model Barrett Pall have been kicking around for some time now. The openly gay 26-year-old looks so fetching, I simply had to post them despite not being new.

Check out Pall showing off his assets below along with some really good looking regular folks. Once again, Greg Vaughan was enlisted to snap the photos.
