Dylan Bruce Joins Heroes: Reborn Cast

In: Donovan, TV Shows

Don’t worry all you Dylan Bruce fans out there. Just because he left Orphan Black, it doesn’t mean you won’t get your weekly fix of the 35-year-old Canadian stud. He just joined NBC’s Heroes: Reborn revival in a recurring role.

Dylan joins fellow franchise newbies, Zachary Levi, Ryan Guzman, Robbie Kay, Eve Harlow, Judith Shekoni and Danika Yarosh. No word on what part he’ll play. Among those returning from the original series include Jimmy Jean-Louis (The Haitian), Masi Oka (Hiro), Greg Grunberg (Matt Parkman) and Jack Coleman (Noah Bennet).

If you’re not familiar with Bruce, check out several pics below of him with and without his shirt on.

With Jennifer Lopez in tow, I fully expected a hard-hitting club anthem. I pictured the two throwing down some sexy choreography for the music video. Instead, Jason Derulo’s duet with the American Idol judge is a breezy summery island-tinged track. It doesn’t exactly scream smash hit, but is solid album filler.

Try Me” is the latest buzz countdown single off Derulo’s upcoming fourth studio album, Everything Is 4. Of the tracks debuted so far, the J. Lo-assisted number falls in the middle. Nothing great, but not awful either. It’s perfect to listen to while relaxing by the pool. Give it a listen below.

“Any of various small, images, symbols or icons used in text fields in electronic communication to express the emotional attitude of the writer, convey information succinctly, communicate a message playfully without using words, etc.”

Seems like a winded way of saying cute pics in text messsages ;) Emoji is just one of more than 1,700 other words being added to the unabridged Merriam-Webster dictionary. Naturally, plenty of the new entries are very familiar to those who are internet savvy. Check out more words below that made the cut.

Jessica Lange Teams Up With Ryan Murphy Again

In: Donovan, The Arts

For those hoping this means Jessica Lange is taking part in American Horror Story: Hotel, sadly you’ll be disappointed. The 66-year-old actress still hasn’t caved in. I still think though, she’ll make a surprise cameo during the FX anthology’s fifth season. Fingers crossed.

Lange is indeed reuniting with Ryan Murphy, but for something completely different. Find out below.

When it comes to seductive slow jams, no one does it better than The Weeknd. It’s why producers tapped the Canadian R&B crooner to contribute to the Fifty Shades of Grey soundtrack. “Earned It” charted in the Top 10 in several countries. The 25-year-old singer is switching things up for his new offering.

The Weeknd teams up with Swedish super producer Max Martin for a scorching new track. “I Can’t Feel My Face” is a funky upbeat number with Michael Jackson-esque vibe. It’s only fitting that Abel Tesfaye aka The Weeknd eventually recorded a track like this. He’s often been compared to the King of Pop. Give his potential future smash a listen below.

There’s no denying Ryan Tedder is a talented songwriter. But the OneRepublic frontman loooooooves to recycle.

When the 35-year-old likes he hook, he has no problem reusing it. Remember that whole Beyonce-Kelly Clarkson debacle with their almost identical sounding hits- “Halo” and “Already Gone” respectively. Well, Tedder has done it again.

After several years off, Rob Thomas is back with a new single. “Trust You” is the Matchbox Twenty singer’s first new song since his last LP, Cradlesong, dropped in 2009. If you loved “Love Runs Out” by OneRepublic, you’ll love this new offering. They sound similar, but the 2.0 version isn’t nearly as catchy as its predecessor. Give it a listen below and share your thoughts afterward.

The music, fashion and TV programs from the 90s are making a resurgence. It only makes sense that the heartthrobs from that decade also make a comeback. Given that it’s been twenty years since these guys graced the insides of every teen girl’s high school locker, I have to say they still look pretty good.

Joey Lawrence (39), Ian Ziering (51), David Chokachi (47 and my favorite), Antonio Sabato Jr. (43) show they’re hotter than ever for Us Weekly’s Best Bodies issue. Their sexy shirtless shoot comes on the heels of another batch of 90s sex symbols showing off their torsos. New Kids on the Block proved they still had the right stuff last week. Check out a cute behind-the-scenes clip of the photoshoot.

Watch Rihanna’s Dior Short Film In Full

In: Donovan, Fashion

Though I’m not opposed to it, I’ve never done drag before. Surprising, right? However, after watching Rihanna’s Dior Secret Garden short film in full, I kinda want to put on a pair of designer heels and a glittery Dior dress on, with the caveat that I get to roam around the Palace of Versailles all by myself.

Seriously! RiRi looks like she’s having a blast walking through those majestic hallways adorned with regal chandeliers. There’s really not much of a narrative to the longer version but it’s an entertaining watch. Check out the Steven Klein-directed clip below, featuring “A Night” which will appear on her forthcoming album.
