The second annual iHeartRadio Music Awards took place over the weekend at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The event honors the best artists and biggest songs from the past year in several categories.
Taking home the big prize was Taylor Swift. She beat out the likes of Luke Bryan, Iggy Azalea, Ariana Grande and Sam Smith for “Artist of the Year.” The 25-year-old entertainer also snagged “Song of the Year” and “Best Lyrics” for “Shake It Off” and “Blank Space” respectively.
In addition to the expected categories, there were a few interesting out-of-the-box ones as well including “Best Fan Army” and “Renegade” awards. Justin Timberlake was bestowed the iHeartRadio “Innovator Award,” following in Pharrell’s footsteps who was last year’s inaugural winner.
Among those to hit the stage were Kelly Clarkson, Nick Jonas, Jason Derulo, Meghan Trainor, Rihanna and Sam Smith to name a few. Taylor Swift surprised the audience when she joined Madonna for “Ghosttown.” Check out the performances below.
Admit it, you’re watching The Royals on E!. I’m not ashamed to say its my new guilty pleasure. It’s Gossip Girl meets One Tree Hill but with conniving and slutty monarchs. The blond heir played by William Moseley is twinky deliciousness.
The network’s risk into scripted programming is paying off. It’s first offering did well during its premiere and showed growth during it’s second outing. No doubt in part to promotional stunts like this.
Dancers dressed as royal guards targeted unsuspecting Londoners with a cheeky routine to promote the UK premiere of new drama. After the routine, they pulled off their tearaway pants to reveal their Union Jack undies. Check out the flash mob routine below. Be sure to catch an all new episode of The Royals tonight.
Michelle Williams scored her first gospel chart-topper with “Say Yes.” No doubt in part thanks to special appearances by Kelly Rowland and Beyonce. While all three joined forces to film the accompanying music video, they’ve never performed the uplifting track live. That is until now.
The trio reunited onstage at Saturday’s Stellar Gospel Music Awards held in Las Vegas. Who else finds it ironic the awards were held in Sin City? The reunion marks the first time all three ladies hit the stage together since Beyonce’s epic Super Bowl half-time show back in 2013.
Gospel isn’t a genre I typically listen to but I’ve liked the track since first hearing it. The awards show doesn’t air until April 5 on TV One, but you can get a sneak peek below thanks to some fan-captured footage.
While the idea of turning the beloved animated Bambi into a live-action film seems absolutely ridiculous, it’s actually not that far-fetched. At Disney’s current pace of producing live-action versions of their classics, this could become a reality in a few years. Though, it’ll have a hard time living up to this epic Saturday Night Live treatment.
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson transforms everyone’s favorite deer into a gun-slinging bad ass vigilante. Along with his furry friends, he bursts into a hunting lodge and open fires on hunters who kill for sport.
Cecily Strong plays Michelle Rodriguez, while Jay Pharoah and Taran Killam imitate Tyrese Gibson and Vin Diesel in the hilarious sketch. Find out which furry characters they play below.
It’s all about girl power once again for Fifth Harmony. The five ladies show the male-dominated Wall Street who’s “Bo$$” in their latest video. ‘Women In Power’ and ‘Feminism Is Sexy’ scroll on the NASDAQ-like screen as Dinah Jane, Normani, Lauren, Camila and Ally drop it like it’s hot.
The Cameron Buddy-directed clip is their best one to date. For once there’s a slight narrative instead of the girls just bopping around on a sparsely decorated set. To boot, they’ve never looked better. All of them look stunning, especially Dinah Jane. Her makeup and moves are flawless. Also worth a mention is Normani. Her slinky poses on her office desk are on fleek (God I hate that saying).
As a fan of the ladies, I hope this charts well. I’m a little surprised “Sledgehammer” didn’t perform better. “Worth It” is a wise choice as the next single. The sax-driven beat and hook are supremely catchy. Give their latest a watch below.
This will be the cutest thing you’ll see all day. I guarantee it!!! Unless of course, you can’t stand animals, specifically monkeys and dogs ;)
The love shown by this monkey is just beyond adorable. The little guy hugs and caresses newborn puppies like they were his own. If this doesn’t warm the cockles of your heart, nothing will.
Watch the viral clip below. Prep yourself for cuteness overload.
Andrew Christian’s boys, dressed in their finest Blow underwear, are on the prowl. They’ve strapped down Jacob Ford for the ride of his life. Sean Zevran, Ryan Rose, Peter Le and Dominic Pacifico make his body rock by grinding their sweaty bodies and manhandling every inch of his body. It ends with Ford being stuffed with his very own dirty skivvies.
For an Andrew Christian promo video, it’s relatively tame in terms of nudity but it’s equally, if not hotter, than some of their more NSFW clips. Sometimes less is more. Check out AC’s “The Blow Show” below featuring “Make My Body Rock” by Ari Gold.
Daniel Craig is back for his fourth outing as everyone’s favorite spy, James Bond. The studio just released the first teaser trailer and it’s spectacular. Or should I say, SPECTRE-cular ;)
I’m even more stoked to catch the latest adventures of 007 than before after watching this clip. Is it me, or are the Bond films getting better and better. Definitely very rare for such a veteran franchise.
In SPECTRE, a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organization. While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal the terrible truth behind SPECTRE. Sam Mendes returns to direct SPECTRE, with Daniel Craig reprising his role as 007 for the fourth time. SPECTRE is produced by Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli, from a script by John Logan and Neal Purvis & Robert Wade.
Spectre also stars Christoph Waltz as chief villain Oberhauser, Ralph Fiennes as M, and Monica Bellucci as Lucia Sciarra. The clip doesn’t fully reveal Waltz yet, but his menacing voiceover already gives me chills. This bodes well for Waltz becoming a memorable villain.
Check out the teaser trailer below. Be sure to check out SPECTRE when it hits theaters on November 6, 2015.
