Apple has announced that they’ll be releasing a new iPhone on June 19th! This newer, faster, and even more homolicious version of the iPhone 3G comes almost exactly one year after the drop of the 3G. I guess that, despite our 2/3 year contracts with Rogers / AT&T apple still wants us to upgrade annually :)
So what’s new and improved:
1. Processor and Ram make the “S” 2 times faster than its predecessor. Apparently, the graphics capabilities will be beyond what we’ve seen thus far as well.
2. Built in Video Camera with Auto focus allows you to shoot video right on your phone. (Pictures will be better as well with the new camera!)
3. Now available in 32 Gig version. Read the rest of this entry »
Summer is here and I am so excited! May 2008 I broke my right leg… What followed was 4 months of recovery, most of which I was lying on my back. I had broken my leg in a particularly bad way, so I couldn’t walk without crutches for a very long time. Okay, I am telling you this because… this is, in a way, the first summer I’ve had in 24 months. I didn’t enjoy the beach, the park, the streets, of the court last year. More importantly to me (occasionally materialist), was that I didn’t get to shop, dress, and feel the look of summer. I am starving for some hot new summer fashion… As such, here is my summer hot list of trends I will be following this summer!
I’m sure by now you’re probably tired of reading about our adventures during our recent trip to California. For those who aren’t, and haven’t read all our interviews and posts, here is a recap of our entire time in Los Angeles.
After landing in LAX around 10pm and being swarmed by paparazzi taking pictures of Twilight stars, Kellan Lutz and Peter Facinelli, we ended up checking in the Ramada Hotel on Santa Monica before heading out onto the town. By the time we ate, checked-in and got ready, we only had an hour and half left of clubbing. As we walked down the gay strip, we bumped into one of our friends Justin M from Toronto. That’s what I love about LA: you never know who’ll you’ll bump into. Since we only had a short time left, we danced like there was no tomorrow.
Celebrity Sighting: Kellan Lutz, Peter Facinelli
The second last Homorazzi cast member we’re going to highlight is none other than my other half- Brian. If you ever want to know how certain things work, logging or the history of British Columbia then Brian is your man. A small town boy with big city dreams, Brian is one of the most self-less, patient and nicest people I have ever met in my life. Having said all this, Brian has recently gained a reputation in the group for unexpectedly coming out of left field with rude insults or comments about friends, and this has been termed as “getting drew’d”. Though never mean-spirited in his intent, he does come up with some zingers that usually have onlookers laughing in stitches. Make sure you don’t get drew’d.

What is your Dream Job?
Donovan, Patrick, Adam and I recently traveled to California. The exploits of our trip have been featured in a few articles already (Hills Wedding, Red Carpet, Reichen, Andrew Christian). I am one of the more silent of the Homorazzi cast largely because my counterparts are so expressive and eloquent in their delivery of the day to day stories; in addition, I work very hard at my, more than full time, job as a banker as well as my second full time job as Donovan’s partner. My days and weeks are very stressful, when the time comes that I get to escape the 9-5, I look forward to relaxation, pampering, and indulgence! As such, the trip to Cali was more a vacation than business trip for me
So, what could I possibly have to say that hasn’t already been said? What story can I tell that hasn’t already been told? My perspective on the trip to Hollywood varies slightly in its purpose; with that said, one of the highlights of my trip was our accommodation! A true pied-à-terre in the heart of West Hollywood.
Hey there Homorazzians: Last weekend I was reminded how much I want a new pair of headphones. It’s not that my current pair aren’t still kick’n it… More to do with the cool new ear “accessories” that are on the market for our listening and fashion enjoyment!!
Okay, my love affair for Skull Candy started about a year ago; at the time they had some of the first headphones available that were compatible with my FAVORITE accessory… the iPhone!!!! Microplug, microphone/remote, Full metal Jacket (FMJ) beauties with excellent sound to boot!! No one else could get it right. I read review after review on-line which urged me to buy the earbuds which facilitated the soundtrack for the past year of my life.
Very cute video… Priceless!
This is a video response to Michael Buckley’s ‘Are You Gay?’
The video is just poking fun at some of the silly questions straight people sometimes ask gay people.
If you are, like the majority of the homorazzi, a Battlestar Galactica fan you will already be familiar with the character “Apollo” Lee Adama played by Jamie Bamber. This past week Jamie was fighting for a different cause here on earth with his participation in the PeTA campaign to end cruelty toward Bears.
When Jamie learned how Canadian black bears are killed to make the Queen’s Guards’ ceremonial caps, the British-born actor jumped at the chance to help.
“I initially decided to do the PeTA ad because a great friend of mine in L.A., Lucy Davis, had just done a similar ad, and I love Lucy and it was a cause I didn’t know about — I’ll be honest. So as soon as Lucy opened my eyes, I was thrilled to join her and do my bit.”
The homoerotiscm of Battlestar Galactica has been a decided feature of the series since its reincarnation in 2003. If you haven’t already rented the DVD or watched the series on Sci-fi get into it… You won’t be disappointed! Just start at the beginning and tell your friends to keep their mouths shut.
