ZAYN Debuts Mini Movie For Sia-Assisted ‘Dusk Til Dawn’

Zayn Malik isn’t messing around for his next single. The 24-year-old singer has assembled a sensational team on every aspect of the track. If it bombs, it’s not for lack of trying.

Not only did Sia write “Dusk Til Dawn,” she also assisted on vocals. The Aussie singer also enlisted her longtime collaborator Greg Kurstin to produce the track. Even if Sia wasn’t singing on the track, I could tell she wrote it. Her fingerprints are all over “Dusk Til Dawn.” The duet features her trademark sparse verses that lead up to a soaring chorus.

For the accompanying visual, The Amazing Spider-Man and 500 Days of Summer director Marc Webb helmed the shoot which co-stars Jemima Kirke. The Girls actress and Zayn play a modern day Bonnie and Clyde in the six-minute film noir-inspired clip.

Clearly, no expense was spared. Perhaps, the record label was nervous after the lukewarm response of Zayn’s previous single, “Still Got Time.” Personally, I liked that track but it only peaked at No. 24 and No. 66 on the UK and US charts respectively.
