As I’m typing this, my fingers are literally shaking. I want so badly for Fifth Harmony to make it. So much so, I actually voted last night for the first time this season. Here’s hoping my 15 votes made the difference ;)

Speaking of my favorite girls, it’s kinda hilarious Bruno Mars is on deck tonight. After all, it’s because of his sisters that Fifth Harmony had to change their name twice- LYLAS and 1432. Would the Mars family again be responsible for “locking them out of heaven”? Let’s get to the results. BTW. Some teen chick named Bridgit Mendler wearing glittered shorts performed, making me wish T. Swift was here instead ;)


In a SHOCKING surprise, Fifth Harmony is the first to advance to the finals. Even if they don’t win, the look on Britney’s surprise SLASH disgusted face was worth it alone. Clearly, the “Toxic” singer was hoping the quintet would get the axe. Sorry Brit, it’s Fifth Harmony bitch.

Next to hear the good news is Tate Stevens. Not surprising but BOO. I really was hoping that the country singer would be heading off into the sunset. Oh well. That leaves Emblem3 and Carly Rose Sonenclar battling it out for the final spot. Personally, the producers should’ve put Tate and Emblem as the last two to hear the verdict. There’s no way in hell Carly Rose is going anywhere, despite some negative feedback last night.

In the most SHOCKING NEWS of the year (NOT), Carly Rose advances, wiping out the Emblem3 guys. Sonenclar is all class and tells the guys she can’t wait to buy their album. Truth be told, I actually believe her. I really think the ska trio appeals to that demo. Emblem3 shouldn’t feel too bad, I’m 100% certain that Simon is signing them.

As if I wasn’t excited enough for Fifth Harmony’s safety, this bit of news put me on cloud 9 to the nth degree. The Hollywood Reporter revealed that LA Reid isn’t returning next season. Instead he’s going back to run Epic Records on a full-time basis. Here’s what he said about his experience on the show and his future.

“I have the utmost respect for Simon Cowell,” Reid said Thursday. “He is the very best, and I have had the opportunity to learn so much from him. Working with him on X Factor has been a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I’m honored to have sat on the panel with such incredible talent. Of course I will miss the show; In my opinion Simon attracts the best talent,” added Reid. “But I’m looking forward to getting back to my core business and the responsibility of running Epic Records.”
