Will & Grace aired its fall finale last night, which was fantastic BTW. “Rosario’s Quinceañera” was both touching and hilarious. The NBC sitcom doesn’t return to its regular Thursday timeslot until early 2018. Fear not though, the network has a special holiday episode that will air on Tuesday, December 5.
What can we expect? Co-creators Max Mutchnick and David Kohan talked about the festive episode during the Will & Grace Digital After Party. They revealed, “We actually just saw the run through of that episode. We, who are inclined to be very critical of the work, thoroughly enjoyed it. It really is a fun one.”
Kohan then dropped another clue, teasing “We just talked about Cher. That’s all I’m going to say.” Does this mean the legendary icon is returning? During the series’ original run, the 71-year-old appeared in two episodes, “Gypsies, Tramps and Weed” and “A.I.: Artificial Insemination.”
Watch the clip below to see Mutchnick and Kohan talk about episode and their experience with Cher. Apparently, Cher wasn’t too fond of Max during her first visit. Mutchnick shares a story which includes Cher saying she has an aversion to “small dictatorial Jewish men.”
