Hopefully you aren’t all sick of my continuous posts about gay marriage at this point, but I promise that this one is absolutely worth it.

You all know about the National Organization for Marriage’s “Rainbow Coallition” and their ridiculous “A Gathering Storm” ad campaign. Likewise, you’ve no doubt started seeing all of the spoofs that have been created to show how absolutely stupid the campaign is- but what you probably haven’t seen yet is this brilliant video called Weathering the Storm which was put together by a group called “Love Not Laws”. (Huge thanks go out to Tommy D for passing this my way!) Weathering the Storm is a response rather than a spoof and it contains a powerful message that has been brilliantly put together. I absolutely encourage you to watch it and pass it on to anyone and everyone you know! We WILL weather this storm!

Also, because some of the spoofs are absolutely hilarious, I’ve decided to consolidate my favorites here after the Weathering The Storm video! I’m sure there are a lot more out there, and I’ll post any more I come across that I think are worthy company to the three I’ve chosen.

Second is a spoof put together by Sarah Chalke, Jason Lewis, Lynne Stewart, Alicia Silverstone, Lance Bass, Liz Feldman, Sophia Bush, Drew Droege and Mike Rose. (You may need to push play a couple of times- I don’t know why- sorry!)

Third is the spoof from Stephen Colbert (he’s a genius!)

And last but not least, the first spoof I became aware of by my friend Clark Johnsen (and his friends… sorry if I don’t have the credits right on that one guys!)
