HERE IT IS FOLKS!
The highly highly HIGHLY anticipated Beyonce video for VIDEOPHONE feat. Lady Gaga.
AND IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT!
Beyonce takes drag queen to a whole new level on this one, and you know what? I ain’t mad at her for it. She LOADS on the makeup, throws on the weaves, wears…not a whole lot. But it is colourful. I’m living for her looks in this clip for sure. She’s giving me Reservoir Dogs meets Mary J. Blige meets Bettie Paige meets Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat!
And of course, we can’t forget our Lady! As always, she ads a breath of fresh air to Lady B. The one thing I love about this is Beyonce is totally giving Gaga her moment, and Gaga is not trying to overpower the vid. You aren’t going to get geometric outfits, blood, hairbows and neckbraces from gaga, you’re getting slick sexy mama from her.
Take note, I will be learning the chair routine. Will be needing a partner in crime for that numbah!

Haha. I think we probably both screamed simultaneously. I was watching Gaga in an interview, saying she wanted to pay homage to Beyonce, which I thought was pretty awesome. I wonder if Beyonce will do the same in Telephone, (although you can see a lot of Gaga influences in Diva, and Sweet dreams) and step it up Lady Gaga Style.

P.s I can’t help it, but my favourite part is when Beyonce. Actually. Sorry. Correction. When Sasha Fierce jiggles her breasts with her hands casually. I thought that was SO funny, and SO fantastic.

i think this is a really BAD video…very old school ( somebody stopped by toys R us to pick up a few toy guns) and as for the creativity and style…sorry but i just just dont’ see it. After the visual feast of bad romance this was really a bad romance. Two very different style of music and performers. Left me wanting so much more.

Well I disagree. I love this video, even if it is just ALL styling, and there’s nothing wrong IMHO in gettin’ down to old school basics. NOTHING will compare to bad romance. I mean seriously, it’s the best video of the DECADE and is VERY gaga. This is very beyonce, and I agree tommy, I love that gaga is doing beyonce and not trying to fit something that wouldn’t fit into the video. She keeps showing me a different side to her and it keeps being more and more challenging. BUT then again, it’s a beyonce video and here i am STILL talking about gaga, so what does that say? HAHA.

This ISNT a Gaga video, it’s a Beyonce video. She’s all about styling, and tranny, and colour on a blank background.
It’s also VERY Hype Williams who directed it. Reminds me a lot of TLC – Scrubs
And honestly, how GORGE does Gaga look in this?

i love the way she handled this video with such a pornographic song….”shooting guns” of all colors and sizes, beybey does it again! it’s fun trippy and not too rated R. i like the channeling of mariah’s touch my body…the riri’s hair in the beg. was a bit biter-ish though

I loved this video too. Loved the chair part and how Gaga held her own next to the diva. Loved her eyemakeup in the part with her pigtail and of course her M.I.A-ish/TLC-Aint 2 Proud 2 Beg-ish look towards the end.
Loved it.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the song but the Video was fun.

I think I just had a stroke watching this. My eyes are still shaking. This video is terrible. The concept is boring – and sorry Tommy, but I’ve seen better chair dance routines done by receptionists who have to pee real bad.

I really adore Lady Gaga with her unusual dresses however she definitely let herself down now being seen out in see through underwear.

I really love Lady Gaga and wish I could have watched her at the Toyota Center. Her dresses are superb and she thoroughly rocks out.
