I almost forgot that Valentine’s day was happening this weekend, with the launch of the Olympics and Chinese New Year totally overbearing the overrated Hallmark holiday. Meh, not that it matters anyway (no Valentine this year) but I’m curious to know if any of you have planned anything special for your special someone, or if you have an annual tradition for the day. Anyone? The Wiki definition of Valentine’s Day is “an annual holiday held on February 14 celebrating love and affection between intimate companions.” Valentine’s Day was at it’s best when you were in school and got to exchange cute little Valentine’s Day cards & candies. Now, I think it stresses people out more than anything.
Speaking of Valentine’s Day, there’ also a movie coming out tomorrow with the same name, that features almost every celebrity in Hollywood in it! From the director of Pretty Woman, check out the A-List cast in this puppy: Jessica Alba, Kathy Bates, Bradley Cooper, Jessica Biel, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Julia Roberts, Hector Elizondo, Jamie Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Anne Hathaway, Topher Grace, Ashton Kutcher, Taylor Lautner, George Lopez, Shirley MacLaine, Taylor Swift, and Hector Elizondo. Wow, this movie better be good & do well at the Box Office to pay for all of these high rollers! I’m hoping it’s another “Love Actually” type film, which was actually quite good and a great movie to watch at Christmas time. Maybe this will be the new Valentine’s Day movie? What are some other good Valentine’s Day movies?

You had better take Taylor Lautner off your “A” list RIGHT THIS SECOND or else! :P

I actually just saw this movie and it makes me happy that…*This could be considered a spoiler. Eep. So I’ll push it down more*
Happy that the gay guys were so un-stereotyped and so dreamingly DREAMY, and actually amitted sounds of shock and surprise from the audience. It was pretty funny.
Mildly disappointed that every couple got a kissing scene, except for the two guys. For two reasons:
1. You’d think in 2010, people could handle a guy/guy kiss scene.
2. And they were, as I said, dreamingly DREAMY, even the friend I went with (Girl), was like, “I wanted to see them make out so bad!”. Sigh. I suppose a boy -can- dream.
