The wait for Everlasting is going to last a bit longer. The third season of UnReal won’t be airing this summer as previously announced or like the two previous seasons. Instead, it will premiere in 2018. Constance Zimmer, who plays Quinn King, first broke the news via Twitter with the network confirming it shortly afterward.

Why the delay? Especially given the fact Season 3 production has reportedly wrapped. No official reason was given, but most likely the network is holding off so it could pair UnReal with Greg Berlanti’s new drama, You. UnReal is the network’s only original scripted series currently airing.
The upcoming season will feature the show’s first “suitress” played by Masters of Sex alum, Caitlin Fitzgerald. Though a critical favorite during the inaugural season, the series suffered the dreaded sophomore slump. It’s looking to rebound with new showrunner, Stacy Rukeyser, who replaces Carol Barbee.
