9O21O star Trevor Donovan has taken quite the rollercoaster ride with his character Teddy Montgomery this season. If you don’t watch the show, let me fill you in. He’s gay… well his character that is. And in what felt like pulling teeth for a long time, his character finally landed a super sexy kiss with co-star Kyle Riabko and eventually came out to friends. Before the winter hiatus, we saw the two break up and Teddy find a new, super hot love interest. Who’s looking forward to some more Trevor on other boy action?

In a new photo spread for Da Man magazine, hitting stands in April, Trevor looks buff and beautiful posing shirtless in someone’s backyard. He even looks good in the pictures with his clothes on. With photos by Mitchell McCormack and clothes styled by Ashley Phan-Weston, this issue is sure to fly off the shelves. I’d buy two.

Here is what Trevor had to say about embracing his character coming out:

“It’s every actor’s wish to get a challenging role and to take it on to the best of their ability. [Teddy] used to be a womanizer and a player and he starts to carry that over into his gay life.”

So, how is 9O21O changing?

“The show is beginning to touch on more serious issues concerning sexual identity. It’s quite a change and it’s made the show less superficial and given it more depth.”

Trevor wants you to know that he is proud of his body and isn’t ashamed about it. One of his jobs before being an actor was working as a model for Abercrombie & Fitch. All new episodes of 9O21O return to the CW on April 18th.
