Yesterday, a good friend of mine shared this video with me and thought it was worth sharing. Then I saw a few people posting it on Facebook as well so I’m now getting around to writing about it.

You see, earlier this week, my world changed quite a bit with a breakup, but the truth of the matter is it’s a good thing. Despite the fact that it’s a painful process, I’m now at the point where I get why it’s good. We are both at places in our lives where we have been complacent and not happy. Not necessarily with each other, but our careers and focus in life. I had several moments of clarity over the past 12 hours and the most important thing is to do what makes you happy. If you’re not happy, change it and take action. Being an entrepreneur, I do generally “do what I love,” but change is always needed in life and I’m excited for what lies ahead.

This video, narrated by Alan Watts, asks the question, “What If Money Did Not Matter? We spend most of our lives doing things we don’t love because we feel like we have to for money. But what if you did something you loved and enjoyed life first and foremost? Chances are that can turn into something you can make money at. Watch the video to see this explained more clearly.
