Get Your First Look At TLC’s ‘Trading Spaces’ Reboot

The Trading Spaces reboot still doesn’t have an official premiere date, though it’ll be sometime during spring 2018, but TLC just dropped the first promo slash trailer. Entertainment Weekly snagged the first look at the revival. For anyone who watched the original series which was “the mother of all design shows” the new episodes look as fun as ever.

Paige Davis returns to host the reboot which will feature beloved veterans and newbies. Ty Pennington along with fellow carpenter Carter Oosterhouse are back. In terms of designers, Doug Wilson, Genevieve Gorder, Hildi Santo-Tomas, Vern Yip, Frank Bielic and Laurie Smith have also signed on.

In terms of new blood, if you watch HGTV, you’ll certainly recognize a few of them. Sabrina Soto (House Hunters, HGTV Star and The High Low Project), former model John Gidding (HGTV’s Curb Appeal) and Kahi Lee (Design on a Dime) have been enlisted as designers.

The show is also adding two new carpenters- former MMA fighter Brett Tutor and America’s Next Top Model Cycle 6 runner-up Joannie Sprague. The latter has also appeared on DIY Network’s Run My Renovation and Man Caves.
