What 5 iPhone apps do you use on your iPhone (obvi) at the moment. Since there is apparently an app for everything, it would be interesting to see what other people have installed on their phones. Everyday I love my iPhone more and more cause it is an amazing device with so much potential. Imagine… everytime you install a new app it’s like a brand new phone all over again. Yes I love my phone so much I talk about it a lot.
So here’s the Top 5 Apps I would recommend you download in case you haven’t already (in no particular order):
Twitterrific – For the avid Tweeter this is a great app because you can filter your feeds and separate them by replies and direct messages. I love this app and I use it all the time. Here are some of the cool features the newest version has.
Features
- Clean, concise UI with small desktop footprint
- Supports multiple Twitter accounts
- Auto refreshing at user defined intervals
- Replies and direct messages are displayed inline
- Number of unread tweets shown in the Dock
- Delete tweets from Twitter quickly and easily
- Auto show / hide when new tweets arrive
- Control over window layering and priority
- Single click access to user profile pages

Features
- Downloads their profile picture so it shows when making and receiving calls!
- Syncs profile pictures, names and birthdays.
- Automatic matching based on names.
Quadcamera – As you know…I love taking pictures specially of myself LOL Quadcamera is cool because it can take multiple shots at once and compile it into one composite image. Just pressing a button, it proceeds to take 4-8 serial shoots and create one image. The popping sound of the shutter gives you a great feeling. You can also animate that composite image by uploading it onto their site
HERE and it will generate an animated GIF from your photo.

- 2×2, 4×1, 4×2, 8×1 layout, portlait / landscape
- 6 effect, Vivid, Dull, HiCon, and Black & White, Blight, NoEffect
- Tap Anyware setting from iPhone’s default setting app
- Vignetting setting from iPhone’s default setting app
Air Mouse Pro - This app transforms your iPhone into a mouse and trackpad. How cool is that? surf the web, browse your photo library or control your music player from the comfort of your couch. Our air mouse uses the built in accelerometer to translate your hand motions into mouse movements on your screen. It can also operate as a trackpad, allowing you to control your computer with a single finger.
Features
- Accelerometer based air mouse
- Trackpad (full screen vertical and landscape modes)
- Media keys & Web keys
- Application notifications
- Remote keyboard with function and arrow keys
- Programable hotkeys (can be set to run a program or keyboard combination)

Google Mobile – A great iPhone app that allows you to search just by using your voice so you don’t have to type. It’s living the future now!
Features
- Voice Search. Speak your queries without even pushing a single button.

I don’t own an Iphone, but I was at work (Bartender) and these patrons stopped me to inquire about my music and started listing the names. I couldn’t understand how if they knew the people already, why they were asking me about them. Turns out there’s an application called ‘Shazaam!’ that lets you hold your phone up to the speaker, and you let it listen to the music….then it hunts it down and pinpoints the song, artist and album! I was floored!
Long story short. I want one now! I can’t count how many times I’ve been out and my ear picks up something I want and need to have.

SHAZAAM is the best invention ever. I use it all the time. In the car, in the club, in a restaurant. It’s purely brilliant. The best part of it is, you can even tag a song even without internet connection and check for the song later.

Shazam is pretty cool as well but I like Midomi better. Try it!

And here I thought I was living in the future, because I had Street Fighter on my phone.
I’d buy one just for SHAZAAM! (Wow, it really does look better in capitals), what’s Midomi?

Urban Spoon is also really cool. It will use your GPS to determine what city you’re in and you can search for restaurants in the area by type, price, etc…- or you can just shake your phone and it chooses a random one for you.

my tops:
Urban Spoon (of course)
Fring (MSN + VoIP [free calling - you don't use minutes])
Shazam
Jaadu VNC (allows me to access my macbook remotely, from anywhere)
Where (looking for a friend with an iphone? say you’re both downtown? both turn on where and it’ll plot both of you on a map and then select a route to find that person)
