TNT Renews ‘Claws’ For Season 2

Claws just nailed a renewal. TNT announced it ordered a second season of the freshman dramedy.

The series follows the rise of five diverse and treacherous manicurists working at the Nail Artisan of Manatee County, where a lot more is going on besides silk wraps and pedicures. Niecy Nash headlines a cast that includes Carrie Preston, Judy Reyes, Karrueche Tran, Jenn Lyon, Jack Kesy, Kevin Rankin, Jason Antoon with Harold Perrineau and Dean Norris.

“Look out Manatee County, these ladies are coming back for more!” Sarah Aubrey, executive vice president of original programming for TNT, said via statement. “These strong-willed, hilarious women represent the diverse voices this network is all about. Claws has certainly struck a chord with audiences and continues to attract new viewers each week.”

Claws is not only a critical favorite but a ratings winner for the network. It’s averaging 6.3 million viewers per episode across TNT platforms. Since its premiere, it’s grown 27% in the coveted 18-49 demo. It ranks as cable’s #4 new drama with adults 18-49 for 2017-to-date and draws the youngest audience of any TNT drama.

Have you checked out Claws? If not, you should. It’s fantastic. Great cast, especially Niecy. She’s at the top of her game. For those looking for eye candy, that Jack Kesy is sex on a stick. WOOF!!!
