We’ve previously seen stills of Keke Palmer (Chilli), Drew Sidora (T-Boz) and Lil Mama (Left Eye) as the iconic girl group TLC, but now we finally get to see them in action. VH1 released the first trailer for their television event CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story airing this October.

The biopic was executive produced by surviving members, Chilli and T-Boz. It chronicles the trio’s rise to fame and their struggles. It also highlights the music that made us want to dance and sing along to. After all they did sell over 65 million records worldwide and that’s what fans want to see and hear.

Based on first impression, the girls do a great job impersonating the girls as they film their iconic music videos for “Waterfalls” and “No Scrubs.” They have the girls’ mannerisms down pack. Most notably Lil Mama, it’s scary how much see looks like Left Eye. I’m hoping the VH1 original movie isn’t all about recreating music videos and gets down and dirty with juicy details behind the scenes. Check out the first trailer below.
