With all the major networks presenting at this week’s upfronts, television viewers were able to get a sneak peek at all their new shows. When September rolls around, audiences looking for a bit of eye candy won’t be disappointed. The networks really did a bang up job of casting hotties. Typically, right before the Fall television season begins, I dedicate my weekly Man Crushes to hotties poised to become breakout stars. I decided to start early this year, the second I saw one particular actor. Meet Theo James.

James is an English actor probably best known for playing Kemal Pamuk in “Downton Abbey“. Come next season, the 27-year-old actor will be known for his role as Clark on CBS’ new drama, “Golden Boy“. Theo won the role, after Ryan Phillippe dropped out due to time commitment. Phillippe’s loss is our gain, as audiences will now have an opportunity to look at this sexy beast on a weekly basis.

Theo was born in Oxford and has a degree in philosophy from the University of Nottingham. Besides “Downtown Abbey”, his other acting credits include, “Underworld: Awakening” and “The Inbetweeners Movie”. Later this year, he’ll appear in “The Domino Effect”. In addition to acting, James is also a singer and guitarist. He plays with London-based band Shere Khan. Get to know Theo in pictures below now before he blows up big time come Fall.

With lips like those, Theo can go down on my “Downton Abbey” anytime.
