Following in the footsteps of British girl group, The Saturdays, British-Irish boy band The Wanted are getting a reality show on the E! Network as well! The show has tentativley been called The Wanted Life (works for me). Ryan Seacrest will be one of the executive producers and the show will center around the five band members as the live together in L.A.’s Hollywood Hills and record their third album and prepare for their US and European tour later in the year.
E! president Suzanne Kolb is really excited about the show, saying in a statement: “The rock star lifestyle is something that everyone has fantasized about and The Wanted are giving viewers total access into their world as they live out this dream.” I only wish we got total access… wink ;). She adds, “This series is a perfect blend of music, bromance and superstardom chronicling the lives of one of music’s biggest groups as they continue to make their mark on the global stage.”
Ryan Seacrest added, “America has a long history of falling for British bad boy musicians, so it’s no surprise that The Wanted are already beloved by legions of fans far and wide.” He continued, “This talented and outspoken English-Irish band are setting their own course to fame and this journey is the foundation of the series. It’s a road that’s bound to include irresistible pop tracks along with plenty of humor, antics and drama behind-the-scenes, which I believe will further ignite fascination and even obsession with these guys.”
The episodes will be a half-hour long and the show is set to premiere on E! in June. It will later be available for other networks around the world after that.

Despite them dropping their pants in that photo, I still find One Direction more interesting as a boy band since they were kinda randomly formed and given a second chance on the X-Factor. Since then they have become like bothers and have bonded so much since then it doesn’t seem real that they didn’t know each just a few years ago. Anyway, it’s an E reality show and I don’t really watch those anyway so yea…
